Horribly annoying app that came pre-installed on my phone. It constantly tries to sneakily invade my lock screen by adding unwanted news updates. It's filled with tons of ads and pop-ups. And when you try to uninstall it from your phone they make it seem like you can only disable it. You have to go under advance settings in this apps info to find the option to get this deleted thru Google play. It's ridiculous, I definitely don't recommend this.

Some spam app that's installed on all Motorola phones and when you delete it the next day it installs itself again. It's like some kind of Malware.

So being this app is built with click bait intended and the news is not about the truth but to literally put more propaganda out in a time where myself and Americans truly need news that is real and has integrity and doesn't separate all of us regardless of left,right,race,or religious beliefs??? my guess is you don't have a spine and that your purpose is to ......what ?

Download it and come back to do some simple math, shape shifting and color matching. Give it say... about 2 months.

I accidentally enabled this trying to get it off my lock screen; it displays over the lock screen every time I open the phone and allows anyone to open it with a long press, making my passcode and fingerprint security useless. I found it in settings and disabled it.

I hate this app it interrupts my online experience I never wanted it to begin with I have nothing to do with the news and you can't remove it from your phone.

As sad as the news is, no one wants to have this on their lock screen constantly reminding them of this horrible world and not be able to remove it as it also uses up plan data and battery while constantly running. I have now figured out how to uninstall it by finding it in the play store and uninstalling it from there since it doesn't show up in the installed apps in settings. This is shameful that this was installed without my permission when I updated the phone and needs to removed.

Did not download this will not uninstall but you can unclick enable auto downloaded and keep it from downloading updates and using some data. In the Google Play app, press your photo at the top right of the screen. Then tap/click manage app and device, then tap/click updates, then tap/click on the app, then tap/click the 3 dots at the top right screen, and finally uncheck the enable auto update option. While you're on the same screen tap/click uninstall updates. That should free up some space!

This app is ridiculous. Installs itself over and over again automatically. Delete then it's back

I agree with you Megan m there are so many lousy apps pre-installed on this phone and my previous phone that I'll never ever use. like this news one, if I wanted news I would have gotten it, I could care less. The news I had on my old phone was worthless had nothing newsworthy. half these apps that are pre-installed are useless, they're just here to take up space so you can't do anything else on it. One star rating was a mistake on my part doesn't even warrant a rating.

Another privacy invasive monitor that can't be uninstalled. I guess I have to find the root codes myself and destroy every last bit. Why can't we just have our privacy and freedom anymore? Far too many apps track and access everything, and it is being misused or sold without our permissions. I have had some horrible things happen because of accessibility provisions being given to 3rd party organizations without my knowledge or permission. This is another invasive, corruptive, app.

I disabled it because of the anoying features. I don't like the screen lock!! Anyway, it somehow re-enabled itself after I disabled it!!??

terrible, slows down phone. can't uninstall. turned off news that i didn't want in the first place, but had to open app to do so. that scares me. we should have choice of apps on our phones. now, after a month, this app keeps turning news back on that i don't want, slows phone down, and interferes with whatever I'm doing. Stinks.

It absolutely sucks that you can't get rid of this thing.. I never use it and it makes my phone so slow if it accidentally gets turned on or anything bc of it staying on the lock screen.. this is an app that absolutely should be able to be uninstalled.

This app is completely useless. It does not even disable. What is the use of having the lick screen disabled when you cannot keep your phone secure. Your app is stupid and useless waste of memory. It needs to be uninstalled.

Awful! Accidentally enabled it when it popped on screen and I was playing a game and when I just tried to disable it my phone foretold doom and destruction as a possibility since it came pre installed.

Really terrible app puts news on the lock screen without a choice for the content. Had to finally get a notification to even know what app was causing this. Very deceptive and not at all customizable on the swipe screen so you get news for a party you aren't a member of and a channel you don't trust

I don't like, WANT OR NEED ANY APPS AS THIS ONE, PRE INSTALLED ON MY PHONE WITHOUT A WAY OR OPTION TO UNINSTALL. It takes up space, enable issues problems and concerns!! I already have enough of those. Don't bother email developer to uninstall. He/They won't help. I tried!

It just appeared after my system update. I never downloaded it. Can anyone say Chinese malware.

Not only does this not give much for surveys, but it also tried to sneak in access to my contacts by saying it would be easier to enter my email address if it had access. On top of that the app also takes over my lock screen to serve ads. I can't even uninstall it.

This app is the absolute worst, it causes ads, pop ups, causes your phone to over heat, and malfunction. If this app is a thing your thinking of downloading, DO NOT! PLEASE, for your safety do not. I had my computer tech friend look at my phone, and found that the root of the problem on my phone is from this app, and ONLY from this app! What ever you do, DO NOT download this app!

Worse app I have ever seen. I get notifications every day that this app is draining battery and when I click on the notification the app prevents me from doing anything to help. This app is why I loathe this phone because it's on my home page every time I turn phone on or when screen times out.i can't uninstall it. 0 stars and worse app that has raised my BP and anxiety.

This app ruined my first phone and they sent me a new phone without it. It worked great then I had a system update that included this and other apps. I no l longer feel my phone is private because it feels like spyware. It takes my phone hostage, slows it down and uses precious storage I need for apps I actually want. I don't think the government would agree with this invasive app that takes advantage of the users.

I absolutely do not want this app on my lock screen. Can't disable it, can't uninstall it, I'm not only stuck with it on my phone, I'm stuck with it on my lock screen preventing me from putting my own photo on the lock screen. It clutters up the screen with all these news articles.

Hate this annoying app. Unable to uninstall. so i forced stop it but after restarting the phone, this annoying app pops back in. If u check the ALL permissions on this app, it gathers all your info on ur phone. Hey developers please let us have the capability to uninstall this app. I don't want it I don't need it I don't want to see it. It's my phone. Maybe if i report it this to FCC, you might let us install it.

If you want an App to control your phone, I highly recommend it. You have to get past their ad just to get to the lock screen on your phone. Promised points that disappear when you sign up. Try it.

NO! It's a useless app that sucks the resources from your phone you do not need this app it's a waste of time if you want to read the news you know how to use the browser and select the news feed that you want to read or you can download a third party news app that you like that you can control that doesn't control you. If you don't believe me just read everybody else's review and how many people have left only one star it's a useless annoying app which you do not need nor does anyone needs it!

Should be a zero! F@k this, 1weather, and smartnews apps! Stupid! Seriously why do government phones come installed with all three?!?!? Like WHYYY??? I can go look at the news if I WANT to, on multiple different mediums or platforms. Also why would I want something using my memory, RAM, or most importantly my data. Like sure uncle Sam just decrease my productivity and decimate the ease of use of my device, no thanks! What a waste of time.

I only marked 1 star bc if not my review wouldn't be posted. I didn't download this app & I Don't want it on my phone. It is BS that it can't be uninstalled or even disabled. The answer that they give you about uninstalling or disabling is also BS! My screen is not locked to go into my settings or Google play to uninstall or disable any other app! If I wanted a news app I would install it myself! NOW TAKE THIS APP OFF MY PHONE & DONT SAY SORRY TO SEE YOU GO!!!!
