I have always tried to be an easy going person. I have been trying for 18 hrs to fill out the simple application so I could get moved in an apartment. All I can get is... Oops you'll need to restart. Al progress was lost. After 6-7 times. I can't get a human being on the phone.??? Wow. Just wow. I'm trying to be polite.
This is Horrible a horrible app. I cant make any payment on time and they double charge me over false insufficient funds and then slap an extra charge on for it. I have notified and requested that this business is investigated. This is an ongoing thing and Ive lost thousands of dollars over this.
This Online Portal could do with a bit more improvement for which I will happily give it a 5 star. I am speaking of formatting it so that a tenant can convey more issues or questions to the Management. Currently only Maintenance requests are featured, leaving this renter a bit frustrated.
I'm completely locked out of my account with no way of accessing it! I had 2-step variation using the Authenticator app. I had to factory reset my phone because of reasons. When I downloaded the Authenticator app my accounts that were stored there, including Online Portal by AppFolio were all gone. Now I'm locked out of my AppFolio account because it's constantly asking me for the 6-digit code from the Authenticator app. I don't know what to do. Now I'm worried about how I'm going to pay my rent for next month because I can no longer access my AppFolio account.
This app has actually made paying our rent quite easy. We've been using it for over a year now and haven't had any problems whatsoever. I'm surprisingly pleased!
I have medical issues that will put me in the hospital for weeks or months at a time, and sometimes I tend to forget things... The online portal, It's great to have, yes, it's right here in my hands, and I'm not a real Internet person, but the online portal Makes it easy to use And maneuver through, so I like it For those reasons...
Cannot find my lease. I just renewed it on here and I can't find it so I can view again I've logged out and logged back in again still my lease is nowhere to be found!
Constant front page solicitation for renters insurance even though I already have it and have uploaded it to the app. Tired of looking at that every time I open it up. Incompetent developers that didn't set a command to remove that once insurance is uploaded.
They either need to fix their app or be investigated. We're responsible tenants that pay rent on time every month...barely because of this godforsaken app. There's always an issue when it comes to just paying rent like "you cannot pay online at this time" or my bank info suddenly no longer sufficing, or having the e-check bounce due to "insufficient funds" and forcing me to have my bank write an official letter proving I had the funds available, all of which at this point seem suspicious- like they're trying to extract more money through late fees. They don't even have an e-check option available now so we're paying $10 extra in rent. No response when I contact them about these issues. I've about had it.
Soon as I clicked and opened account it's saying I owe 4G & it keeps saying I'm not completely set up tóo. Only 35%. I just did this to auto pay my rent but bc I don't want renter's insurance info, rent which says can't be paid online... (I KNOW it will be fixed! Keith always gets to the bottom & I have receipts) but I almost fell over on that & only 35% vs 100 setup?? Or I would give it a 5 ⭐ I like that you can put maintenance requests on here too. but honestly I'd rather interact w/ Jorge
Good app with minimal bugs or glitches. 2 company's we've lived under have used this same app for online payments and basic communications of maintenance needs and such. Overall it's easy enough to use and simply set up.
Horrible! I have to pay additional,$9.99 to pay my rent if I'm using debit card. Where it's $3.99 if using credit card... Also, it keeps telling me I'm entering wrong password every time I try to sign in. It's a headache!
My issue Was that I'm paying a $9.99 debit charge to have my payment come out in real time instead of using an echeck and wait until whoever finds the time to process it. Now my problem is that I pay that fee and go through the same thing. 3 weeks in a row now, I've used my debit card immediately looked at my bank account and see that it posted but then when I check again it's gone. I called my bank and was told by the rep they're not processing it so that's why it's not posted or pending.
Never had an issue this app. , its been working normally for a good 4 months since ive started using it. Even if there were an issue with my rent payment I'd have other ways to not only prove I've paid it or have it paid in person. So I see mainly tenant/Landlord issues in these reviews not actual app reviews.
The UI is bad, specifically around files. Devs: come up with an implementation to view files without download. I don't need my mobile device clogged up with a bunch of files I just want to review once.
I have never written a review before, but needed to give this a one star. I have had this app a total of 2 days, I tried to pay a deposit fee with a savings account, my bad. the app showed I paid it with no means of trying to fix. I decided to try auto payment with my checking instead, and it charged my account TWICE! And guess what? Neither was reflected in my bank account. I just want to pay rent, but that's apparently too hard to manage for a payment app. Don't give me the info email, call
I can't make a payment. I have advised management of apartment complex. At this time I still can not make a payment. The only thing this portel lets me do is make maintenance requests and see payments made.
This app disables online payment if your late. That make sense. You're rent is late so now I'm gonna make it unpayable and not respond to emails. What a joke.
This app should have a space for a memo, just like checks do, so I can write something ,because I don't trust our shady management company
Honestly pretty cool app. It's simple from the UI all the way to making your payments and setting up request. Gets the job done. For what you need.
Great app! Not much different than the website, but it makes it a little easier. Those complaining seem to have issues with their landlord, which this app has no control over. You'd think that would be common sense...
I like that i can do , or request, or pay everything on line rite thru my phone. It makes it so much easier not having to worry bout how i will get to landlords house to pay rent or if i am gonna get ahold of someone by phone. This is just so much more easier and convinient.
I agree with Charlotte. I am also being charged late fees but I have the $$ but cant sign in to portal. I've been told that it's not an issue. Yet I just tried again and was unable to.
It's the app or management company. Either way nothing has been repaired and I've placed work orders more than once. Management company took the 1st set out and the second set is from July 21!
Not working saying incorrect address but everything is exactly correct. Call bank they trying to send payment but will not go through it the app that's the problem
I hate that this app charges 9.99 extra for me to be able to pay my bill with a debit card. I understand needing to charge a little bit for a processing fee but 10 dollars is too much especially with families just trying to get there bills paid. So frustrating.
