Online Radio Box - free player

This app is great - mostly! I like it so much I did pay for it, and it's well worth it. But it has one issue - when it loses the stream because your provider signal is lost the app is poor at restarting the stream when the signal returns. If I manually restart the stream it picks up immediately, it would earn the extra star to make this a 5 star app if it restarted the stream when the signal returns for itself.

This has been vastly improved and my radio app search is finally over. When a call sound comes in or text notification, the program I'm listening to continues uninterrupted when the interference is done. Previously or in other apps, any pause in play caused an ad or ads to run before the program resumed. Was untenable. Even if outside interruptions came 30 seconds apart, full ads would be 'tripped' each time. Now the only ads that play are the ones the radio program itself is running

Great app. Just what I was looking for. I browse through over a dozen apps. I bought pro version over Tunen in Pro and Premium. Too much social media etc implemented in. I just wanted something simple. My Samsung phone doesn't have a radio app this is perfect. My other phone just have a local FM radio app. The layout is simple. Lot of stations to choose from. I can easy save my favorites to easy to find list in app. Great job developers. 😊👍👍

This is one of those gems that beats the high-profile, better-known radio streaming apps. If you are looking to stream your favorite radio station, this app is the best free service out there. You can pay for the app itself to eliminate the in-app ads, but there is no subscription fee. The search engine will find everything (better than some of the paid services, even). The free sync service will sync your favorite across devices. The local station list is very complete and convenient.

Way better and simpler than Tune In Radio Pro. Just what I was looking for a lightweight simple ui radio streaming app. With a lot of stations to choose from all over the the US and countries. It has the majority of the stations like 95 to 96% chance it can be found on here. I can save stations to a list. Pro version is great. No ads.

Briefly, Online Radio Box is the best radio app I've used, in years. Easily select from worldwide stations (by region and by country) and add what you like to your favorites. The ads, on the free version, are not intrusive. Searching is fast and friendly. The selection is enormous. If you try it, you won't be disappointed.

I was using another app for online world wide radio stations. They decided to block access to two of my favourite 24 hour music stations, one in Texas and another in Poland. I switched to on line Radio Box. Easier to select. No blocking. Wider choice than ever and it is well indexed. What's missing? Displaying tune titles on screen as they play. I really love this app because of how accessible and many stations they have. I especially love the Playlist feature where it shows the artist/song. However, recently that feature has been removed from the station I'm listening to and I don't know why since it was there before so hopefully this can be fix :(

Very good! Probably the biggest number of stations available on any internet radio app i have found. Some suggestions for improvement - enable sorting of the favourites list by country, genre and alphabetical (they seem to list themselves entirely at random) - and enable a whole world search for stations by genre as well as geographical. Then it would rate 5* and be the best radio app available! But even so it is good.

Trying it out right now after problems with both TuneIn and Simple Radio drove me to seek alternatives. This is also the first mobile streaming app I've seen that displays song title and artist info, which is a nice plus. There are, however, some stations I can think of that didn't come up in searches I'd like to have on here -- is there a way to request their addition into the database? Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for this. Other than that, I like what I'm seeing here.

I truly enjoyed this app... That is until I actually tried to sign up for an actual account. I clicked on the button to make it free to me and the next thing I knew I was asked to put in a credit card for their Demographics to see what areas I am in. After putting it in and hit finish I got a immediate text from my people at Discover Credit Card Services telling me that it's a possible scam. I called them and cancelled the payment of $39.95 for their supposedly free site. What The F__K???

These a lot of music apps out there, but Radio Box allows you to pick Radio Stations of your choice from all over the world. You'll find radio stations new and old. A continued new experience all the time.

Just superb. There's lads out there pretending to have all the stations, but the selection for deep house etc on here is incredible. Its brilliant. Only issue it has, is when I want to share stations or even the app with others....it doesn't provide an option. That's crazy to me. Such a good app, and can't promote it.

Very impressed with this app aspecialy with the add free version, good value for under four quid, works better than any dab radio, I've thrown two of them in the skip. I have now got it on my tablet and two phones and it works fine on all of them add free with the one purchase, so grateful for that. Had a little trouble finding my local station BBC radio Stoke but the team emailed me a direct link so all good. I got so frustrated using radio sets so this is perfect. Really recommend this app. 👍

Best online Radio app. Even gives the songs playing. No hassle on finding stations, favourite stations are easy to use and the ability to zap between favourites is an excellent option. One of those apps where you don't really mind the adverts because they only show up once and the app is so good that adverts don't matter.

Ok, but in opens on its own and starts playing. I have been trying to figure out how it happens. When I open a mail in Outlook it starts playing in the background. I have rebooted phone, uninstall and reinstalled. I am just going to permanently remove it.

I love this app when it's working correctly, which it does most times. I'm having issues with it today. I've heard the same stupid Meow mix commercial about a dozen times within an hour and the station I'm listening to gets randomly disconnected, sometimes mere minutes apart. This then results in the same stupid repeated commercial. Very very aggravating! On another note, how about adding a dark theme?

This app does not carry Australian channels. It appears to only have channels from the United States. I'm looking for a Melbourne (Aust) based channel which does not appear on the app at all. I've paid for the Pro version, thinking it might be a solution but there is no additional range of channels. False advertising.

Phenomenal - I have been searching for a good radio app and its all been in vain however this is the only app which scored in all areas....other apps you tend to download and never use and eventually uninstall. But this one remained and been very useful. No matter what your mood is you just plug into the station you like and there you are.... absolutely amazing work by the team. Very thankful. Keep up the good work....
