There are many chess boards and accessories available for selection in the game, from the romantic Sakura chessboard, to the summer-themed Beach chessboard, and the Japanese-style chessboard. Combine them as you like to create a chessboard of your own. There are also many cute mascots who will cheer you on to make your matches more interesting!
Collect Pieces for Bond Effects
Activate bonds to receive buffs. When you have a certain number of tiles with the same position or type, the bond effect will be activated. There are different levels for each type of bond. By activating bond effects, you can acquire powerful buffs. The omnipotent bond tile Froglet can be counted as one for all position bonds! Flexible strategies will give rise to unpredictable matches!
Use Wisdom and Win with Strategies
Adjust your formations and use wisdom in battle. Combine your tiles to promote them and increase their power. Purchase, deploy, and promote your tiles. Build your team with about 50 Shikigami. Increase your power with randomly dropped items. Go head-to-head with other players around the world in a battle of wisdom and strategy.

The game itself really has promise with extensive heroes to play around with, good balance and great graphics. My only issue here is the lack of players. I'm not sure if its only to a specific server (since we can only choose once) or for the whole game. Honestly, you need to market more.
I can't find a match either nobody playing or something up. Try adding more modes maybe ai matches In training section instead of fighting self. Also if possible make a book for heros to see like other chess games. I like to look at each of the characters up close makes it more interesting though this more a wish. The rest suggestions and possible issues. I'm trying to re-download now. I really enjoyed the matches I did play edit: no players in EU or NA
Download it like 20 hours ago and since that cannot log in even once in the game. It is the latest version tho. Already re-download the data, already restart the phone, already clean up space, and already try those few servers and STILL CANNOT MAKE IT INTO THE GAME!!. Another alternative for auto-battle chess game. Don't too much know about onmyoji hero, but i like the game art and design. But some problem must be fix. Still lagging in my old 5.1 os, hope the graphic can be more light and smooth. The interface hero in tile box and the information is too small. The match making also still too long. But other than that this game have lot of potential to increase more better.
Actually it's pretty good game,I started loved it..graphic it's satisfying and beautiful easy to control but when i try matching I even waited till 12 minutes but there no single player playing at the same time..maybe the system trying to find same level player so it's will become more easier to play but i think playing with bit highest level would more interesting...I mean like my level is NoviceIV.NoviceIV and NoviceV play at the same time,it become little bit challenging and interesting😊😊
The game itself is really good. However the matchmaking is another story. It takes more than two or three minutes. Sometimes I wait for 5 min and nothing!!! I believe that's due to the long match. I think it should be shortened for 15 min max instead of 25 min and more. Also why make different servers world and Asia and I don't know what. Just make it worldwide???
Can't enter the game, says the game has undergone changes and needs to update but it's up to date with the latest version. Cleared the memory, redownloaded, same popup message, can't enter. Cleared cache memory, still no entry. Reinstalled, same result. Tried on another device, same result.
Okay I love the strategy game but... It's kinda confusing cause the tutorial began to stop and it's should've been like chain strike game which is also a chess like strategy game... If I have to choose which one is better I'd choose chain strike and not this one, but I hope you make some improvements in this game but the characters and graphics are awesome
Downloaded it but when I was about to open it. It kept saying I need to update the game. When i relaunched it, it says i have no connection when I clearly have one. I had no problems playing other games but this one simply won't open. No thanks. Uninstalled.
Game won't launch, when you try to enter it says launching update list. The it shows the list, says to logout and restart, it just repeats this can't ever get it to start. Thats a bummer.
The text and icons are too small for my eyes, I run this game at 1080x2340px resolution and everything is too small to see. Overall the gameplay is need to be fixed a little.
I'm enjoy the game, but the game has a serious issue with finding matches after I play 3 to 5 full games. I constantly have to make a new account in order just to play the game at all and it's aggravating. This needs to be seriously fixed.
I'm a returned player of Onmyoji Chess. But now, when I wanna enter the game, it always appear notification to close. It's happened several times so I wonder maybe you don't care anymore about the game that you have. It's a good game tbh, I miss play this. What such a vain you abandoned your game.
Not only the matchmaking were bad. The game it self although good but unfair. How unfair? Because its depend on luck not skill. Eventhough you fighting with other player, you actually fighting a computer that has been buff. Out of 20 game chance of getting top 3 is lower than 1 percent. Dev, fix it. After the update this game is wasting my time. It was hard before, but with this new update it was unacceptable. And please let us fight computer instead, waiting for other player is wasting time.
Way too much lag and I can't even get in to the game it says it's needs an update but the update does not seem to be here so until I can at least enjoy the game it will remain 2 star
This game really has potential, there are some that's needs to be fixed but aside from that, it is a good game. I suggest you add some features for the game such as more missions to gain more 'coins'.
Ofcourse it takes time to match, because this game is so underrated, there are so few people. I think everything is perfect in this game. This is not like other auto chess, its more complex and hard to win. But it surely, the best game ever.
Got to play a few rounds on the first day and it was pretty fun and interesting. Unfortunately there's no one to team up with now. You need 8 people per game. Tried several times to queue a team and got no one
I'm gonna wait for tft mobile to release. The game looks pretty but the design isnt very intuitive compared to other autochess games. Controls also do not feel that smooth to operate. Also noone plays on the Europe servers unless it's the chinese/Korean smurf accounts during night time here. Shame since I have over 1k hours on actual onmyoji and I love the story and characters.
I just wasted my 1gb of data for this game. But after installing, I can't even play the game. the graphics are perfect. but I waited too long for the match. and once a match I got a high level opponent. I like this game but please fix it😭😩.
Our wifi is fast but if i played the game its in 450ms and the game crashes and it won't stop loading everytime please fix this i like the game too... and add some automatic level up.
Cmon, this game has a lot of potential, in the first day i play this game, i love it. But, the second day, i cant enter the game (many people also). If i can enter the game, easy 5 star.
@john robert romar, go to settings > Mahjong > Display Mode > pick 3d models. As for the game...no Japanese voices? I hate ENG voiceover so 3/5 for now..also can't turn on high definition which I could use in Arena.
I want to give it 3 star but i want to support N.E this game is soo fun with all those tactical shiki, but pls fix the match process its so hard to find match here I've been try to unlog and it keep searching even after 10 minute, pls fix this thankyou i hope this game will be better
Like others have said there's a shortage of players in this game. I have tried but i just won't get a match. It's such a shame this is a really good game! Hope the devs will somehow try to boost this game visibility or else it will just be gone.
A game full of anime characters, and I love it. But the game need to be clear for the users to understand while playing this game, I got very confused and flustered while playing this then uninstall it. This game should display like how many stars does the hero have after upgrading. The synergy icon is very small and they almost look the same to me, the text descriptions are so small, sometimes the game freeze for a few seconds after finished one round. Hope you will fix these issues. Thank you.
