I have this app for a second professional number, the call or message does not go through and most of the time I have missing calls or message appearing when I open manually the app, I sent report and logs and each time they ask me to do the same stuff to check if it is working, wait for an update or just do nothing. If you require a trust of working from this app, avoid it
I paid 10€ of credit. It shows me the 1000 credits that are needed to make international calls. But when I place a call it tells me that I have insufficient credit. A JOKE & A RIP OFF!! I'll delete this review if I ever get my problem solved.
Terrible experience. Never works, no notifications ever even when activated. No communication about the billing. When you ask for a refund they don't do anything. 10€ for what they "offer" is a complete rip off. And they make their consumers feel stupid.
Very useful application, but the quality is not there. I bought a Belgian number and the calls to/from Belgium were almost every time having low voice quality. The voice mail was sometimes working, sometimes not, as well I had some dropped calls issues. The app would be great if you could improve the routing.
I paid then the website asked me to download the app. I can't open it, it stuck on Bot verification and I can't click on the captcha.
Perfect for me. For 10 euros per month, I get unlimited calls and SMS with voicemail, to/from numbers in the country with which I need to communicate. This takes into account that I already have an unlimited local call plan, as the app calls a local number. App is quite well done, it integrates well with Android contacts although it has some minor bugs e.g. contact list sorting and synchronisation with Google contacts after modification. Voice quality is often good however some hear a very bad echo.
I cannot connect since their last update, I keep paying but I can't access the app. Great ! 🤬
Dropping from 4 stars to 2 stars because the app just sits on loading signal and I have to open chrome and use the OnOff Web client in order to access my calls & texts. App worked fine up until about 3 months ago. Running Android 11 - HD1925. App just stays on startup screen with the circle spinning and never loads login portal.
It doesn't work at all. It seems it just want to send a recovery password link to email.
was disappointed when I received a call from an automated service that I signed up to get information from just to find out that when they eventually did call me I couldn't use the dial pad to input numbers. Needless to say this meant I couldn't get the information from the automated service. :-( The dial pad says "coming soon". How is that not a feature built in right from the beginning? The dial pad only works on outbound calls.
This app is a scam, they will get your money (charge you) and pretend you should make a call to verify your number. And then when you make the call they'll pretend that your number is already used. They don't even have a support phone to call them and they mention 2 different adresses in Paris,France. Be aware of that scam.
After using it for a while I had to port the number to another carrier, but I was charged anyway. I contacted the guys, they did a quick check and I got a refund immeditely. They're really professional, the app continues to be perfect even after you stop using it ;-)
I will give 5 stars when my issue is ameliorated .I've been using this app for years with different cell phones and I've paid for year long contracts with phone numbers but I can use none of the ones I've purchased. Suddenly there's a button that says "validate" and gives loose instructions on how to which do not work no matter what I do. The last time I had an issue with you all you wanted me to send a copy of my.passpirt to your company in France, which I am not doing now as I did not do then.
when it works it's ok but current update makes all buttons useless even after reinstall (s8) the main problem however is the constant phone calls from strange countries? sometimes at 5am. there appears to be no way to block calls from other counties which seems like an essential idea
Please guys make this work all these cook features are so promising 😭 and please allow them for cad sim cards too, Also thanks for your response, being able to access to numbers in canada like that while calling through the samsung phone app, is almost the equivalent of having a dual sim card phone its genius. If this app runs properly I'm sure you guys would go through the roof
Well, the app is good but my question is how can I purchase a number and the mood of payment
2 hours in and STILL no outbound calls or SMS. I've contacted support through the app (which just pushes through your own email app) but they're not responding. Will have to request a refund since it doesn't work. Don't install!
I have been using onoff for nearly 2 years but take exception to a 66% price hike! No longer worth it, there are much cheaper ways of having a second phone number. Bye bye onoff.
The app and service are a total joke, I paid for a month to try out this service and when I try to validate it calls to different numbers that are not even related to this app, I sent a msg to support it's been 24 hrs and no reply if you don't fix this I will charge back with my bank and get my money back. You are are wasting my time.
As I understand there incredibly long privacy policy, they collect an enormous amount of data they do not need, things like age for promotional reasons. If I'm paying through my Google account for their service they don't need to know anything about my bank accounts and stuff. I have major concerns about their desire to data mind me.
on the app after payment it kept saying insufficient funds and refusing so i had to pay by credit card and then i see they also charged my playstore balance! on top of that the service does not work the only number i wanted to call says cannot be called by the app. and customer support just says payments are not they're problem and do deal with playstore directly...
Never sends notifications for messages, does not ring when being called. I have to manually check the app all the time to see all of the calls and messages I missed because of that. Waste of money.
I travel a lot so I've been using OnOff for years to receive texts when I change SIM cards when traveling. It's been working great for me. Support is friendly and responsive.
Their support is terrible, the tone and content of their answer when you have a problem shows you really bother them. I had 2 numbers, none worked properly for a 3 weeks trip, I sent about 8 emails, and their support person wrote me an email with a tone that was far less than courteous. In summary, spend your money somewhere else.
You buy a number and it does not get added to your account and yet they love to charge you for nothing. This app is just a scam or con, under no circumstances use it you will be wasting your money and never get it back. Steer clear there are many others better out there... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
This company sold me a number then later removed it from me if I didn't subscribe to monthly fee. How to trust them? They should have applied the subscription to new customers who hadn't already purchased a number early. If terms are just changed like that better go somewhere else.
ok app. the numbers don't always work for third-party apps, the trial period can't be lifted and you can't send gifs from the keyboard.
Baddest app ever. Please never download this app!!! Its impossible for me to buy international credits. Im tried many time (more than 4 times), my credit card was debited but my account was not credited. Im spend too much money in this app.
Terrible customer service! Keeps ignoring my emails and messages on Facebook. I cannot use the app now after buying around 10 numbers for my business due to some verification which gives me error and doesn't allow to "verify" my account...
Most of the time it just works fine. If your signal is a bit marginal you may well find that calls fail to connect properly, which is annoying. It's easy to call back a customer but that doesn't look quite as professional as we would like. There is also a bit of a weird pause when answering calls which makes the start of the call awkward. It works for us (friendly local business) but is lacking the polish that some might be looking for.
