Awful. When a call is received, your phone will start screaming OnSIP's nonconfigurable ringtone at Media volume. If you tap the notification to answer the call, the app will open... and then spend twenty seconds trying to authenticate. (How can an unauthenticated app receive calls to begin with?) I have been using the app for over a year and I have never been able to answer a call with it because of this issue. This app is only useful for checking voicemail and outgoing calls.
No way that I could find to turn off. Keeps interfering with speaker phone while on a cell call by turning off the speaker phone. No way to change ring tone. Keeps automatically opening when you unlock your phone. Always in the way, in your face, and darn right annoying. Fix these issues and I'll try it again.
Why does the OnSIP app open every time I unlock my phone? Why not just make a persistent notification? That way it would always run in the background and wouldn't need to keep opening on screen unlock. If you do that, the app will be SO much better and functional.
This app is full of bugs and its difficult to get onsip support to resolve them. They start off the diagnostic prossess assuming your mobile device has a problem. Once they make you change the settings in your mobile device without resolution they make a 'report' that seems to get no further attention.
Not great, app would drop calls and interfere with incoming calls if I was already on another call, also, NEVER rang through with anything.
Very poor sound quality. Some weird added delay so the first 30 seconds of the call is "can you hear me"
Works well, difficult to use if you're using for inbound calls without DND on when using a queue system. Would also like to see an administrator queue dashboard available on app for future.
It used to keep poping up every time you unlock the phone. Now it keeps shutting down when not in use and you miss calls.
I cannot load this app on my phone. Have tried numerous times and even got a new phone Note 10+ still cannot. Have notified Onsip a d get zero response. Have tried all troubleshooting suggestions also.
App doesn't let you login with Google like the desktop app. If you log into your account with Google, there is no way to get in to the mobile app.
It needs to be reinstalled multiple times in day. Does not work with One +6 phone or the +7. Cannot recommend.
Rings twice and hangs up or goes to another phone?! Doesn't even give me the option to answer...onsip support is terrible as well.
Needs more ring tone controls and a dark mode color scheme like twitter. New bug prevents originating calls.
Bare bones when it comes to features. And you will find yourself apologizing to people for random dropped calls... a lot...
Do not disturb is turned on yet calls are still coming through.
Do Not Disturb does not work, calls keep coming through
more motion animations a user feedback points.
Hang up or missing voice time to time.
Person on the other end ALWAYS hears an echo of their voice
Gives you back privacy.....would like to learn more about onsip company would love just 47.00 in stock....?
Holy run around! Nope, I'm out
Clean quick UI. Great call quality. Great app for onsip all in one phone. Only reason not 5 stars is import of phone contacts.
I'm routinely being logged out. When this happens when someone rings my extension, my cell doesn't ring and the call will go to voicemail. That said, I'm willing to wait and see what OnSip does with this, as it is wonderful to not have to deal with configuration issues, all the software needs is a username and password.
Great solution that we enjoyed using.
This app has so much promise, I fully expect to raise my rating to four or five stars as it matures. For now, the biggest issue is that, on my Pixel 3, sound quality goes down the tubes if the screen is locked or if I switch to another app. The background audio is really terrible. Staying logged in is another key feature as it will eventually get logged out and calls go to voicemail instead of ringing through. Notification features are pretty basic at this point. It would be nice to have an in-call notification featuring mute/hangup/hold and an option to have a persistent notification for logged in state. Selecting audio interface (on-device vs bluetooth) would be great as would merging / conferencing would be a nice feature in once the above issues are worked out. Having said all that, the configuration is superbly smooth and, if the call is kept in the foreground, the call experience is high quality and solid.
