The only reason i gave 1 star was so I could send a review if it were my choices I would be giving it no stars at all.It's pretty disappointing when you have been a customer of on star for over 6 years and now they are switching to app only in December and it's not even compatible with certain phones and then customer service tells you to get a new phone that it is compatible with . really???? not everyone can afford a new iPhone. looks like I will be canceling onstar come December
gave up. just signed up for onstar. went to load this separate app, never accepted password, even reset 3 times! Uninstalled app 2 times, still does not work...so far not looking good to go past the free trial.
Didn't work. Unresponsive. With a Brand New phone. Work offline???? Doesn't work at all. OnStar cut me 16 months short according to them. Want in my car so they couldn't hopefully fix it. Maybe tomorrow I'll call back. Until its fixed, one star is generous. I'll just use Google instead. Like they say, you get one shot to make a first impression.
Extremely poor app & customer service. My whole morning was ruined today because the app locked me out. I spent over 2 hours on the phone being put on hold repeatedly. I was switched back and forth to several people. One didn't know what the guardian plan did; another didn't know that the plan existed. All I wanted to do was get a flat changed on my spare vehicle. In the past I used the app with no problem. Today I wouldn't never recommend this to anyone. One person even blamed Covid.
I never could sign in, it never recognizes your password no matter how many times you change it. Onstar is not well invested into their apps. Head problems with both of them, I'm done with it.
Very bad app and service. I downloaded the app. I tried to sign in and it doesn't accept my e-mail or password (I don't know which) then I tried to reset my password in case there's something wrong with the one that I have writing down. They say they are going to send me an email so I can reset my password but they didn't send me anything. I tried twice and nothing happened. It is the first time that a site say they are going to send an email and nothing arrived. What gives?
It's a bad app. I was trying to put my correct email password and email but it doesn't even accept it. I'm hoping that you can fix this and not let this app say username or password incorrect whenever I put my correct password.
I wanted to use the mycadillac app on my tablet. That app is not configured for a tablet. Next up I thought this app would do the same. I downloaded the app and tried to sign with my onstar account ID and password. No luck. It claims there is no account (I know better from my phone app). Any suggestions??
I'm confused. On the OnStar Vehicle Insights App. I check to see how much I owe to make a payment every month and it always show $0.00. But I also get $35.13 debited from my checking account for OnStar every month. If this service is free for GM vehicles, why are you charging me $35.13 every month? I drive a 2012 GMC TERRAIN.
Bought my truck and went to install the app. Created an account and activated it with On Star like it says to. Then it gets stuck and says that I can't connect my truck. Doesn't work at all.
Onstar will not let me cancel my subscription (that you are autoenrolled for) for $35 a month because I am not the listed vehicle owner, even though they are billing a card in my name and I am the driver. I will be reporting them and spreading the word.
Worst app ever! It won't let me add my vehicle's vin number, it went straight towards 3 different types of vehicle. I'm unstalling this anyways. Just a waste.
Lame. MY MIL came on today but did this app show me any issues with my vehicle.NO!!!!!Im mean come on. your overpriced onstar services and Basicly overpriced XM radio,4G LTE,everything.also a BASIC dignostic test is $79.99.HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?? for that price i can purchase a diginostic devices and found out myself whats wrong or have a local shop and use there Diginostic for FREE.
Every time i go into the app it says my vehicle is not connected. I so can not figure out how to get it connected or how to work the app never the less.
OnStar truly sucks purchases disappear you get stuck in the middle of nowhere and you try calling them you get nothing you can be dead because there is no signal because they don't use satellite to use cell service
The install failed 3 times. Had to delete the original install because it quit working. Now I have onstage but no app.
Totally sucks, crashes constantly. What's the point of having Onstar if you can't get to it? Thinking of trading in the Cadillac for a Suburu.
You took away my availability to use the my Gm app which means I can no longer start my car, lock my car, nothing. My phone apparently is outdated. Well I love my phone so you screwed me there. I want to have that function and thought this would work. Can't sign in even though it says I can if I have an account with my gm. I do! Why don't I have the option to use an application in 2022 to lock my car if I forget, or start my car in the winter before I leave work? Why would you take this?
Not for Pixel 2 XL. Says that Chrome 4 is not supported. So, why is it an option for my phone in the Play Store?
What a mess. Can't even change password if you forgot it. Never get an email to change my password. Pure garbage.
Developer need to uninstalled this trash of an app. Won't let me add my vehicle. My opinion, its worthless!

Couldn't remember my password and asked for a reset password email and still haven't received the email a week later.
Can't start or stop the the car with the app. Can't see service minders or anything

This thing absolutely sucks! If I could give it negative stars, I would! Have gone the password reset innumerable times. Set a password and login, password incorrect. Can't imagine what would happen if I had an emergency!
