Absolutely appalled at the description of this app. You made this to "snap your child out of la la land!? Is that truly the way you refer to your child's disorder? And refusing to make a wakelock "until the app becomes popular" only guarantees that it will be overlooked by 95% of users looking for an Autisim timer to help with daily routines. So basically you made this for yourself and don't care what the masses want or require. Absolutely disgusted. Uninstalling before I open it.
I'm not willing to use something made by people who hate autistic people. Their attitude about their daughter is disgusting. I was looking for a tool to utilize for myself, not applied behavioralist bs.
I have ADHD and I've been looking for something like this to help keep me on task. But for those of us who don't have anybody to remember to set the timer, can you guys possibly consider adding a schedule feature where the user can schedule the timer to start automatically at certain times of the day (ex: 1 hour before you have to leave for work on weekdays)?
How do you edit?! Maybe I just haven't seen where you're supposed to find it but anyway, I would rather have had the option of a clock visual. My soon to be 8th grade daughter understands a clock better. It would also be nice to have a more cheerful voice announcement and an alarm (preferably for me, a school bell type alarm)! I've been homeschooling her the past half year of school and it was such a horrible experience trying to keep her on task (with the cat sleeping next to her, and the lazy, strong-willed, I'll-bite-you-if-you-move-me furry thing won't go somewhere else to sleep; Daughter is SO obsessed with cats!). This app does have potential, though.
It would be great if u fix the bugs. It's stopping suddenly n not responding. Other wise it's an awesome time
I'm sure the idea is a good one, but this thing literally crashed both times I used it, and that's not a level of reliability I will put up with.
Has potential, but currently keeps crashing for me rendering it unusable.
but it's not really practical to setup on the go
The best visual timer I have come across.
Just what I was looking for.
I really liked it, but it had too many bugs to make it practical. For some reason, it kept saying what ever time I set was outside of it's parameters. Also, the app crashes when I turn the phone over to view it in landscape. Other than that, it seems nice. I will check periodically to see if there are any updates that fixes these bugs.
Nearly every time I turned it on, the app would stop working. Great when it actually would work.
It really looks like what I want but if my phone tips and tries to go into landscape mode it crashes. So currently isn't useful but if that gets fixed it would be .
Thanks developer. I couldn't find another app that did this!
The set up of timers is confusing as well as time consuming to apply them when someone else has start the timer beside the ADHD child. My child can't use this app by themselves which gets it uninstalled.
