onTouch Dictionary : Pop up

The app is easy to use and convenient. I would recommend, however, that there should be a classification among verbs as to whether they are transitive verbs or intransitive verbs. Currently, the app just displays "verb" and does not classify them. Nonetheless, the app is a big help and convenience to me whenever I am reading an e-book or a PDF on my phone. I am looking forward to more updates.Thank you and more power :)

I liked the innovative way through which On touch dictionary was developed, and loved most of its features. I have only a suggestion that don't give up on developing more new and advanced features to the dictionary. Make every feature compatible on Android 10 and above. I also found a major mistake that the app has not been updated since 2018. If it has not been updated for a long time, there is also a risk of removing the app from Playstore and I don't want that to happen. Keep it up.. thanks

I've tried several & this is the best dictionary widget app for those like myself who like having a dictionary readily & easily accessible while reading. This app offers either a floating bubble you can move/keep whérever OR (I utilize & prefer) on the bar that pops up in succession to the highlighting of a word, right there with copy/paste/cut, will now be "Define," which will provide the definition, the word used in a sentence, synonyms etc. Rating lowéred by the annoyingly inconvenient ads.

It is an awesome app. I have been searching for a dictionary app with screen floating design. This app just fulfils my passions. However, the float seems to to be temporal and that is not too good. Please, make the pop up float option permanent once enabled. Also make more easier to return to the previous apo or task after chicking up a word in the float dictionary. The process of returning to the previous task is clumpsy at the moment. Thanks.

I liked the builtin dictionary feature of the kindle e-reader. That led me of to a search for a alternative for a non-kindle reader. This is the best alternative I found so far. Great job developers. Am looking forward to more languages in the dictionary and ways to lookup words within other apps (meaning, without opening the onTouch app).

The on-screen feature lured me into downloading this app because that was what I was looking for ( an on-screen dictionary) . It wasn't working too fine as the floating icon disappeared few seconds after I hit the home botton. I got a new phone and it's working fine. Problem was with my former phone I guess. Great app, 5 stars!

This is a great app. It does what it is supposed to do. But there is one feature missing and it is really a small one. Once the popup card appears, it should go away by sliding down any where on the card. I have to reach the close button to close it. Its not a deal breaker but it is really a must have thing. I will buy the app if you guys add this feature.

TIME/ENERGY-SAVING FEATURES: I read books on my mobile and often search for meanings of the words for better comprehension. It used to take a lot of EFFORT AND TIME. But now it's done in a second effortlessly WITHOUT LEAVING THE APP.

As an English learner I find this app very helpful and the only one who allows me to do faster searches. In my opinion, it's the best within its category. However, the copy feature fails once in a while and no longer shows definitions making you open the app again.

Excellent, easy-to-use dictionary. Far better than the default "Collins" dictionary that Android uses. It has about 95% of the words I've tried to find (as opposed to c. 50% with the Collins). I've bragged about this app to all of my Android-using friends. I just ask that the developers Please make a version that works with Chromebooks.

On the "Word Of The Day" , I expected the app to change to a new Word on a daily basis, but since I installed it for some reason it never has changed; Don't know if it's made this way or it's been experiencing a negative "glitch" on this part? Other than that it's all good 👍!

It's a wonderful and useful app one among others in my cell phone..You people are doing great job as well as Commendable effort for those students who loved soft reading but they can't fine quick meaning of diffcult words espically meanings in those files that are compiled by Cam scanner..so its touch/search bar option for meaning's quick search and synonyms /antonyms facility is apreciated as well! This is the best offline English dictionary app for ESL students! The pronunciation is in the International Phonetic Alphabet, the standard for reputable dictionaries like Longman, Oxford, Cambridge, and Collins. The only criticism I have is that it incorrectly gives "got" as the only past participle of "get", and you have to scroll down to the end of the long entry for this verb to find a note admitting that the past participle of "get" in North American English is "gotten".

unlike other pop up dictionaries, this app is smart enough to recognize plural nouns or conjugated verbs so no need do drop off the 's' in plural nouns while copying the word. Just one thing to make it perfect. please make it possible to move the app to SD card. Thank you!

Hello Team ONTOUCH I will come straight to the point. But one thing on which I would like to bring your focus on is the favourite word section. Actually I have to increase my vocubalary room for which I put some words into my favourite list but whenever I watch any favourite word at the bottom, after seeing it again comes to the top and again I have to do the tedious scrolling down act. So if u have added the feature of swiping to the next and previous favourite word, it would be a 5 star app.

I always wanted to have an inbuilt dictionary like that in the ios which I had been using for a while but then when I started using android I couldnt find that particular option in it and I got too frustrated. Later when I found this app and intalled it,it became so easy that I only have to select the word and copy. Walllaaaa!! (You have to run the app in the background I guess in order to use it and its offline too...enjoy!!)

It's very useful app, for many reasons : first it works offline ,2nd, you just need to copy the word and the app shows its definition and pronunciation instantly and finnaly you can save the words so you can review them later.but it would get much better if it has more examples for the word.TNX

The two features for "quick search" stops frequently. It works only for a few moments but afterward, you have to restart the application. Therefore, the app is not efficient. I'm using Android 8. Please fix this inadequacy.

After closing the app n copying the word in other apps, doesn't show any results. Sometimes u have to switch off your phone (xaomi) n after turning it on u have to open the app manually to use the pop up dictionary. All permissions are allowed yet it closes itself the becomes useless.pls fix this bug.

Would be great but after a few times feature 1 stops working. Ideally, I would like an app that shows a definition overlayed in a small text window on the currently used app (definitely would pay for this). If this app wasn't buggy for me, I'd rate it 4 stars.

The copy feature doesn't work. The dictionary itself is good with the right meanings and explanations but if i have to open it each time separately while reading my book, then this can be done by other dictionaries too that are not floating dictionaries.

Even though I copy words, sometimes it doesn't even show and work any of 'Meaning Pop Up' function. I tried to exit the app or close on the tab but neither it helped. It seems freeze that function when it's been turned on to the tab for a long time (maybe). I hope they fix this.

That's great for now. It is a bit heavy for my system but its tolerable. Hope developer consider further improvement to embrace much more synonym and antonyms feature like longman dictionary (by keepin the size low😁). However, it pwas practically beneficial and applicable especially for non-native speakers. Wish u the bests

While Reading magazines, articles or some books, running into new words can stop or slow the reading pace in such cases this app really helps a lot, you just select the word and copy, that's it, instantly a page pops, telling you the meaning of the word and other synonyms.

It's very helpful while reading anything at all. It was quite tedious before, coming across difficult words then going to the dictionary, typing them there then searching. This has eased things quite a lot!

Very good experience, I even recommend the App to my students and friends. However some English words do not exist. May I ask the developers to please update the vocabulary. Otherwise, this is an incredible App to have.👍👍

Great app but a thorough search and comparison revealed that this dictionary including others take from same source. Everything is whole lifting! Try to increase your vocabulary entry, build it from different sources, get font size moderator feature, and many more features to make it lovely. However, I was thrilled beyond measure when I saw the floating search widget feature! I wish ALL dictionaries had this feature. But still the feature need further working cos it doesn't last long,

I loved onTouch. It has all one required for dictionary. Pronunciation, revisiting the old searched word, noun-verb etc, sentences with examples. One can make shortcut of it on ur screen, if u copy a word it will automatically paste in dictionary as soon as click on dictionary button. Isn't it amazing !! I personally liked it.

It exactly what i m lookimg for years and i found it here with all my desire requirement .on just one tap open up the new window with some awsome tools, most favourite pronunciation and highlighted word to go futher for search without typing word. But i want search option simultaneouly in that window. Thank for making this.
