Filtering by power level works much better now. Thanks. Weird how there's no way to share a particular station in openchargemap website or app. Thanks for the fixes. Can you add a way to filter by pricing, off-peak or peak pricing?
One of the best imo. Loads super quick and you can filter by any kW speed unlike most charging apps which only have a 50kw+ max option which isn't great if you want to charge at 120kw+ minimum. Also if a charger is missing then you can add it yourself and it gets approved in a day if it's correct. Only thing it could add is a check in and status type system.
This works flawlessly on my Pixel XL. No speed issues. As far as I've seen, the information in the app is as up to date as what's available on the web version of openchargemap.
Uninstalling.. a quick search around some common spots I go to in Atlanta weren't even on the map. For example: My workplace has 4 publically available Chargepoint spots and it wasn't listed.
Hard to use because trying to zoom out move the mail can make it jump quite erratically. Pretty frustrating
Very basic app with (almost) only static data. Moreover, most of the data near me is outdated. So why use this app at all?!
The map issues seem to be fixed, but the filter does not seem to do anything??
Did not show charging station in Northfield but littered map with useless markers about stores, a museum and a uniform store, none of which have EV chargers.
Can't upload a picture. Fails with error "Upload failed, please try again"
data is not up-to-date, is outdated. Many stations are not in the map
Map not being updated so it is useless as long as not being fixed
Searches time out. Not helpful. (yes with Wifi)
Garbage. In 2020 you cant open links in the description. No copy&paste. Is this apple or android?
Had a lot of charge sites listed as Tesla only when they are not.
Latest version using Google Maps now functional again 🙂
Trying to see what's along a given route doesn't work at all. Useless for planning, only shows what's nearby. Interface is horrible, jumps around when you're trying to zoom or scroll. GPS doesn't seem to work. Coverage in Australia is abysmal. I'll try to help with that, but currently the app is all but useless in Australia.
*This app is my first backup app*, if the main network app isn't working I come straight back to this app to find other points. This is my go-to app when looking at doing a new journey. I start by looking here at all the available points and then spread out once I know which networks I need to look at. ***I no longer update this app with photos and comments as that functionality is now built into Google Maps***
Could use a delete key in the search bar to clear everything in one go also a "recently added" section could be good
Search is dire, pointless using App to plan ahead as it is completely random whether the App will update the bit of map you are looking at.
Most of these apps don't work at all, so glad this does at last show a map. But I've put in filters for not showing certain plug types or private chargers and it shows them anyway.
I was very impressed until I discovered that without a network connection it doesn't work. The database should be cached on the device.
Very nice interface, but is missing listings for many chargers I've used for 2 years. If the catalog of chargers is incomplete, it's not much use!
Version Feb 2019. Pathetically slow. Virtually unusable even on WiFi On my tablet there is no way to close the app - you have to do a forced stop. The options in the filter section cover the entire world and there are many pages to search through (ok they are in alphabetical order, but you still have to scroll through them). The map zoom facility is very temperamental, occasionally it works, but the map is ssoo ssllooww to react that it takes for ever to settle on the final picture.
