* The app requires access to the filesystem to be able to download and store the Open GApps packages in your Downloads-folder.
* If your device has ‘root’ enabled and you grant root permissions to the app, it can instruct the recovery to directly install the Open GApps package.

Q: Why does flashing Open GApps result in losing the permissions granted to the app?A: The first time you flash Open GApps on a system that has no GApps yet, it needs to reset all system permissions. That means all current permissions are lost, also for this app.

The app can definitely use improvements specifically in saving to SD card which doesn't really work but otherwise it's a simple app for a simple task

Its great but i need more features . Like . The app will sent notification if there is a new gapps update. And two... Add splitting threads when downloading . Because its so slow its like 300KB on here while my internet is capable atleast 5MB.. Thanks :)
I rooted and unlocked my G3 out of frustration because it was ignored for Nougat by Motorola. I went thru the motions and updated all the stuff 'n' things, and this application is painless for me to get the most bleeding-edge package releases. Kudos, Open GApps!
Fast way to get the latest package builds. However, once initially installed all updating of Google apps is normally handled by play store anyway. So while very nice to have this option it isn't entirely necessary to run it that often.
Few things I like less than full-screen LOUD ads of machine gunning helicopter games. No matter how useful your app may be. Let me pay a few bucks and never have to endure that crap again.
Heyyo, works as advertised. Keeps me up to date on my gapps when I want it to and makes it easy to download the updated versions and install them.
Doesn't do anything. Go through setup, pick the right processor and select Aroma. Click download, see a full screen ad, and clear the ad. Right back to the same screen, where it appears to be trying to download for a fraction of a second, then does nothing. Lather, rinse, repeat. :-(

Does not remove updated apps downloaded automatically from the play store like its predecessor. Have to go in manually and remove them manually. They used to just go away by themselves.
Downloading to the SD card is failing, it downloads everything but fails at the end without error messages. Not amused.
I really like the concept the developer made, it was great made as we are in deep trouble in landing to right place fr download the exact Arm and version of OS.But this app is one that will get all in one for gapps esp rooted user..But my issue is broken link can't download if I use even 4G.. :( "" CANT DOWNLOAD ""

I cannot download: an add plays and afterwards nothing happens. Nice material design though.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Only suggestion is it would be nice if you could Delta the updates instead of having to get the whole zip everyone
Just one feature request which would be to create a gapps config from within the app. If that exists then would be 5 stars
App opens with a AdBlocker detected enabled but there is no Ad Blocker enabled on my device and prompt you to make a donation. Just Implement a price and don't do this bogus ad blocker detected thing.
It's never been easier to download and flash new GApps packages.
Every once a month, I'll check for any update. Gut apps, at least I'm able to update my phone version to catch up mit latest firmware easily. Keep it up guys, great work.
The .zip.tmp is not changing to .zip automatically. Have to change it manually each time.... Pls do something for it
Good but aroma version is opaque and difficult to see with twrp during set up.
Unusable at this moment. After touching "download", received a fullscreen, unavoidable, untouchable ad from googleduo. The provided buttons in this googleduo ad ("no thanks", "install") are not working at all. Touching back close the ad but cancel the process
App does not work properly. Downloads to SD do not show up in the app as the file is saved as: open_gapps-arm-x.x-micro-version.zip.tmp Removing the .tmp extension with file manager makes download visible in the app again. MD5 is not downloaded even though option is selected. On dark mode, grey font is invisible. Etc. Etc.
