Open Sudoku

Open Sudoku, how did I not know about you before now?! Thank goodness I found you. I was still playing on the original, after it lost many of it's features. 1- you are fully functioning: filter out completed games, choose the theme colors, choose the kind of keypad, add my own puzzles, 2-no ads !!! 3- no intrusive permissions!!! Thank you so so much.

So happy to have found this! It fixes the "problems" with the original from Roman Mašek. And when I say problems, I mean that over the years the Android OS broke backward compatibility and you could no longer get to the menu. I don't blame the developer at all for this, but I'm thrilled that someone has taken it up and modernized it. Thank you!!!

I really appreciate this "modernized" version of Roman Masek's original app. A recent OS update broke that older app, and it took a bit to find this version in the Play Store. It's a lovely update! I'm still experimenting with all the settings, but so far it's everything the original app was wrapped in a beautiful interface that is both familiar and new.

Most recent update is a step backwards, with no way to skip the ugly new homescreen, numpad color customization now a mess, and puzzle list thumbnails no longer adopting puzzle theme colors. Stop tinkering with what was a nice, simple app that just worked, unchanged, for years. Why the need to constantly add silly new features?

Best sudoku app I've found. This app is bare bones, but it lets you play and gets out of your way. No annoying ads, completely offline, but you can download more puzzles from the web. I found some great diabolical level puzzles online that are much more challenging than other apps offer.

Fantastic! A long press on back brings up the menu! So this is what Open Source is all about. Create the thing, let others review and improve. Great results everyone.

Great app! I'd like to import puzzles from my OpenSudoku on my old phone (after copying them to a folder on my new phone) but the import process keeps saying "unknown error".

I had used the original version of this for many years until it stopped working on my last Android update. So glad I found this fork. This game is so much more functional than any of the other Sudoku apps. And open source to boot!

Great game, but can't add new puzzles from the web. Downloads .opensudoku files but the app doesn't recognize them on the phone.

Colour picker in themes is broken. I can't play, when even and odd cells have different colour and I can't pick black

I used to like now adverts after every game and so loud gives me a fright. Horrible apps being advertised too, which I would never install in a month of Sundays.

Free, no ads, open source. Better than many Sudoku apps, solid 5 stars.
