Don't even know what it is syncing but takes longer than is necessary. Adding receipts you have to enter every field otherwise it doesn't save, even if you don't want to submit it. Then you have to sync everything (not just what you updated) again to make sure your changes appear in the web version. The idea of an app is to make you more efficient, this one tells you not to bother till you are infront of a computer. Poor
Terrible app. Won't stay signed in on SSO for more than about 15 minutes even though I select "stay logged in" when I sign in. When it does a sync it makes a noise that sounds like many text messages arriving at the same time, none of which are helpful at all. I've used Android permissions to remove the apps ability to make a noise. I have reported these issues to our support team, as have many others in the company, but I don't know if they'll raise the issue with OpenAir / Oracle. In general use the app is adequate. It wants to refresh from the server constantly, and slowly. The UI is rather clumsy.
Worst app ever! Rarely can I actually sign in. Most the time I get a synchronization error which kicks me out of the app. Then it puts a notification that I cannot remove from my notification list unless I restart my phone. When I am able to actually log in to fill in a timesheet the inputs are very unintuitive. Often it will fail to add entries and when it actually does it will duplicate them. Ultimately, it is just faster to find a computer and do your time and expense from the web app.
Once it eventually finishes syncing it works for me, slowly. Don't expect to do a quick update, Oracle don't seem to do quick, and they're still not very good at UI/UX either. But the UI has improved over the last year. And the speed has improved to slow.
App opens but once I put my company's code in, it crashes. Uninstalling doesn't work. No online guides for this problem. Typical Oracle.
The app does not work. It gets hung up during updating and then locks up. I have used this app on and off for a few years and this seems to be frequent occurrence whenever there are updates. Guess it is time to delete it and wait 6 months before trying it again.
the ui for both the ap and the web are terrible
Browser version works great. App is awful. It takes forever to update my open, submitted, and approved time and expenses even when i know they have already been approved. The app will not allow me to create a new expense report at all. It keeps giving a notification that my selected period is closed which is impossible.
Great app, makes submitting time and expense reports a breeze. I especially love on a Friday evening when I "forgot" to approve timesheets before I left for the day that I can pull up the app and approve them from the comfort of my couch at home. It is also free and just adds to the overall excellent product experience.
It used to sort of work but as of the the latest UI update it has been useless. If I have a time sheet created already it will show I have an open one but when I go to open it I then says I have no time sheets. Going to create a time sheet leaves me at a blank screen with close and done at the top being my only options. All I can do is sign in and see how many timesheets I have submitted or have open which isn't particularly useful. Will see if I can get a ticket filed through my support team.
Uploaded 100+ receipt pics, attempted to sync OpenAir many times, showed receipts attached to individual expense items, but they never uploaded to the cloud. Bottom line wasted 3 hours of time. Better off getting your company to purchase a license to a newer / easier / better app like expensify.
I am unable to make timesheet entries. It always says description is missing. There is no description field. I made an entry into all fields with an * and it still won't submit. It seems like it's referring to the memo field... But I have data in there. Very disappointing.
Have installed it and logged in but the app has been hung up on updating lists since. Have wasted too much time on it already. Worst reputable company app I've installed. Also, have read all the previous reviews and am amazed at the response to reviews, asking people to resubmit the issue through their company admin, "and maybe we can resolve it". Who has has time trying to repeat how bad an app is. It's not the user's job to fix it. Try testing it yourself first.
this app is terrible and unreliable. Most of the time when I start entering an expense and then after I'm done, it tells me i have to login first and then re-enter my expense. taking a picture of the receipt only works about 50% of the time. Just use the web interface - its faster and more reliable. Corp admins - while this may be easier to administer that the alternatives, you're going to waste a lot more of your employees with this. Edit: I have things to do and don't have time to screw around with your tech support. Oracle should have done some sort of testing before releasing this app. Every single review talks about how terrible it is - that's not just a bug - it's a terrible product. As of July 2019, the app has a 1 star rating in the iOS store and 1.5 starts in the android market. It's just a terribly designed and/or poorly tested product.
Won't connect. Can't back up to change connection type. after failing to connect it just keeps trying forever. I've installed and reinstalled 4x now. This app is garbage.
Shockingly bad. Slow to load, timesheets break, many features don't work with regularity. Perfect example of failure to design for the end user.
This app is the biggest time waster in the world.It takes so long to load & is awful to use IF it ever finishes loading.Then it times out so quickly,but doesn't tell you clearly that your session has expired,so you lose data.Then it needs to reload all over again.Someone needs to pour gasoline over this product.It's a waste of space,free up the disk space & delete it already.Nobody needs this rubbish in their lives.Time to let these devs go,they haven't got a clue. Update introduces new issues
What is the point of allowing me to write notes in a timesheet and then tell me I have to log in, resulting in my notes being lost. What app would allow me to see and edit records without first authenticating? Beggars belief. Is this the same Oracle that can build America's cup yachts yet cant build a simple timesheeting app? And don't even get me started on the whole split week thing for end of month, I mean to say work it out, the calendar has been around for a few thousand years already.
Easy to navigate, simple and intuitive, and consistent thru out the app. OpenAir saves time and empowers the entire business to make informed decisions from a single cloud-based platform.
SSO login is not working, I see there are many people mentioned the same in comments but still the issue exist. Now a days most of the companies having SSO login enabled so please fix this issue ASAP, otherwise it will be one of the waste application in Android play store.
SSO sign in and syncing is terrible, I have to sign in multiple times just to finish the app data update before I can use it.
The data update is very slow, sometimes do not load the information. need attention on it that is making the app usuable.
Installed the app, went through the process of setting it all up. The app served up the Web version. Prompted me to choose between Web app or Mobile app, I choose Mobile, the app decides to tell me that I should download the app from the store. Genius design.
Very slow syncing process and has issues with single sign-on, which always ask you to sign in again for each refresh.
Tried it, fails to login with the same credentials I used successfully 5 minutes earlier on the PC. Uninstalled within 5 minutes of installation, sorry but I have better things to do with my time than attempt to make it work
Too many clicks to get expenses and receipt pics entered. Doesn't remember last entry details and forces the user to reselect data way too much.
Barely usable. UI & UX are horrible. Dev's need to study UX (again). Also add a dark mode, and use the default Android time picker, not a puzzle clock.
