Did exactly what I was looking for.
That's all well and good but what I want to do is update to gles 3.2. I just clicked the first app hoping it would do what I put in the search bar...

This Is the Best App out there for Checking No Only the OpenGl version of your phone but It also Gives Detail about every inch of Your Phone. (Just Loved It)

I'm not a geek, what do I do with this info? Keep getting connection error messages for an angry birds game. Rovio says I need Open GL 1.3, the info says I have Open GL 3.1?
I rarely comment, but this is the best gpu info app around. Complete list of extensions, plus unique relevant info about each extension. Well done.

but it reports my asus intel bay trail device (me176cx) as opengl es 2, it should be opengl es 3?
Your app is really helpful. I use it to test whether Android devices support Non-Power of Two texture or not.

I have city cyogenmod with 4.3 but shows that I'm still in open go es 2.0this just shows your firmware
It would be useful to be able to dump all the info and copy to clipboard and/or send via mail.
Almost perfect. Some of the links.for various OpenGL extensions are busted, but otherwise does what I need.
