Considering that it works from a mobile browser but gets nothing but SSL errors from this app (and if it's because it needs a client SSL cert: why do we need one?), I can only conclude this app is broken. Uninstalling.
Very unreliable. Now basically always shows "An error occured while loading openHAB 3 UI" from local url. No possibility to return back to the app from this error page. "Try again" of course does not work either.
Problem with icons solved. The app displays only *.png files whilst the web displays only *.svg files. Solution is to have the same identical icon saved with the same name in both png and svg formats. Then the same icon will display correctly in both the app and the web.
It's not the prettiest but openHAB rocks!!! The interface is as good as you make it and responsive as heck! Developers have done an amazing job!
It used to work fine. I continue to get SSL handshake failed error. I've scoured github for fixes but can't find anything concrete yet. I installed this new beta version and accepted the certificates but still nothing.
Where do I report issues with this beta app, to help resolve before the bugs are promoted to live app. This morning the app was working, but now keep getting SSL handshake failed. BTW, the non beta version is working fine
In the last day I can not connect to openhab server from android phone via remote but all the notifications get thru.Before this was no problem. Local acessing works fime.Fix this
Definitely 5 Stars. Flexible, simple and efficient. Replaced my going out of buisiness smart home subscription service with OpenHab. Took me less time to migrate then their last outage.
Excellent solution for my home automation. Tiles are easy to use by placing them to notification panel as a shortcuts.
So far so good, i have been having trouble moving my iot devices to oHAB since I use them daily. When it is up and running i can review it more deeply.
I'll keep an eye on the roadmap now. The app is definitely getting more robust. New features being implemented.
Used to work great. I've recently added oAuth authentication and it fails to connect ever since. Is this something at my end or this type of scheme is not yet supported?
A must have if you have embarked on the home automation route!

It never connects. Always error 401.
