Right, this app downloads, makes the correct key, but doesn't work on Android 9. I did a little investigating and my results: The app only works when both Bluetooth and GPS are on. Please include these in your instructions before more people get locked out of their rooms. Updating to a one star because your team says they went through troubleshooting, but I had to discover the fix. I even wiped my phone in my troubleshooting.
I'm writing this while locked out of my hotel room. Seems the engineers behind this product have problems reproducing and correcting a clearly repeatable bug. Lock doesn't respond to button that worked earlier today. Shows connecting screen then back to unpressed button state and lock doesn't move. Will try uninstalling and redownloading the app. Oh wait, user error not holding the phone close enough to the lock?!
Every time I have to use this app I have an issue, every time. When you need the 'additional keys' to show up to enter in from sub zero temperatures and it takes not one but two rounds of Uninstalling and reinstalling before it works and you pray that someone is going to exit so you can get in. This is only made increasingly better when the play store decides that your app installation needs to be delayed (pending) until some other system function or whatever allows it to download and install.
It doesnt work at all, you cannot get to your room or even the building. I hope not to get a hotel with these system again.
This worked fine on Tuesday but when Wednesday when it stopped working. I can't get access to the front door or even my room. I've attempted to uninstall and reinstall several times didn't work. I also changed phones and still it not working right this is rather frustrating. I have upgraded it already but still giving me issues please fix this soon.
We used this at an inn we stayed at in Lincoln city OR. I had to download the app again and reinstall it EVERY SINGLE TIME I used the key. It never worked more than once on my Samsung Galaxy phone. Over a 3 day stay, this was really, really annoying. I liked the inn, but this key was SO ANNOYING. We stayed at the same inn over Christmas break and had the same problem. My service provider is Boost Mobile. Hopefully this information will help developers fix the problem.
The hotel sent me the link to install the app. I did out of curiosity. It did work the first time I used it. The second time though, it didn't work. I'm not sure if they are related, but my physical key card also stopped working at the same time. I tried restart the app, uninstall and reinstall the app. none of that worked. Finally I had to visit the front desk for a replacement key card. I'd give it one star if it didn't work even once.
Experience is sub par. I have to turn my phone or the wifi off/on each time we need to get in to our room. I've been on the resort wifi since we got here and it's the same thing every time. Not a fan of this method of entry so far (seems good in theory but needs work.)
The hotel where I stayed used this for both the room and the front door. The room usually took 3 attempts to open. There was also an annoying glitch when the front door key would simply disappear from the keychain after a single use. I called the support and they promised to get back to me (and, of course, I never heard from them). If you are a hotel manager, do yourself a favor. Do not put your guests in a position when they hate you and your stupid unreliable door app. Do not use this.
Unfortunatly, apps like this only get 1 chance to make a first impression. Door chimed, phone buzzed, door did not unlock. Tried multiple times, no luck. Front desk issued a physical key and it worked the first time. Stick with the physical key. Alas.
Don't waste your time. It doesn't work. Staying in the Queen Suite at the Clarendon and the app recognizes the room were staying in but doesn't unlock the door, period. Tried reinstalling and same result. Disappointing.
Didn't work, and wanted access to my media files when I first opened it. This app absolutely does not require those permissions, and I absolutely will not grant them. Perhaps this somehow prevented it from working? If so, I'll pass.
My wife has an Iphone 11. The app ran but failed to open the door. I have a Samusung S9. The app died every time I tried to run it. I uninstalled it and re-installed it twice. Same result. Double fail. The inn gave us a 9-digit code that we had to key in every time to open the door.
What an incredibly bad app. After first entering the hotel / room, I found that it wouldn't work a second time. When I called the hotel to ask, they said "people say reinstalling it helps". So here I am... reinstalling the app everytime I need to get into my room. You all have to fix this asap...
It was by far the most inconvenient place I've ever stay my first time. THEY FORCED THE KEY APP ON YOU THAT DOESNT WORK REFUSE TO GIVE A KEY CARD WHEN YOU ASKED . THE FRONT DESK PERSON WAS VERY RUDE WE HAD TO DEMAND A KEY CARD OR OUR MONEY BACK !!! SO WE FINALLY GOT A KEY CARD AFTER A HOUR. Rooms are nice but wasn't worth the hassle at the front counter.
The app doesn't work at all. Not for the front door, elevator, or room. I'm locked out and can't get into th building even. Ridiculous.
Everytime this damn app has to update I am locked out of my room until it gets done. A notification or option to update later would be awesome. Literally the worst design ever. I am currently locked out of my room.
Some of my colleagues and I wandered if there is a way to download the Chinese App version through IOS and Android. Because we can't get it to work on our phones when we were there.
App kept crashing using one plus 8 5g. Can't even get past the intro screen. Good thing one of us was running an iPhone. Should probably check app before marketing.
Had to uninstall and reinstall every time I used it. Didn't work if I sid ahead of time. Standing at the door in the weather and alone.

Does not work, a nightmare. Sam S10+. Locks up phone. Had to reboot phone to get in room. PS, I am a Cisco net engineer. Comfort suites
Horrible idea, having physical access based on a device that could die and lock you out. One star wasnt even earned.
Have to hard stop the app to have any hope of opening the door. Always get an error on the app even when the door opens.
App will not launch. Have reinstalled multiple times. It worked great my last 4 stays...but today...not so much
Terrible app. Worked one time and never again. Turned wifi on and off and restarted the app too
no frills app that works the way it should. would be nice to have a widget i could put on my homescreen but thats nitpicking
Front door key would not work several times. The room key did work everytime (The EO Inn)
The app isn't fluid enough to open your room door. You will stand awkwardly in the hallway while your door unlocks and locks rapidly.
