openMSX
By default, it comes with a minimal firmware rom, known as c-bios, which enables you to run most cartridge based MSX games.
In order to run such a game, you can copy a dump of the cartridge onto the storage memory of your Android device and then insert the so-called ROM into the virtual cartridge slot of the emulator using the on-screen menu that you can open with the standard Android menu key.
You can also install the firmware of your real MSX into openMSX. Seehttp://openmsx.sourceforge.net/manual/setup.html for further details. This enables you to play around with MSX Basic and all other features provided by the standard MSX firmware.

It's horrible, there is no UI at all, it is meant for mobile devices yet no android ui for browsing games, just some clunky unacceptable sdl based ui which is impractical for routine use.
You can't remove touch screen buttons drom tge screen.
Works well but is not designed for homosapiens.

It use to work, I don't know what happened
It crashes on startup on my Nexus 6, on a fresh (wiped and flashed with a factory image) install of Android Nougat 7.1.1. It did the same thing on Android 5.0.1 on my phone a year ago. It also does this on my Android 8.1 Google Pixel 2 XL. I love this software on my linux desktop, but apparently there's a bug with the SDL 1.2 implementation it uses here.
Good emulation, poor UI because of SDL. On screen controls are okay.
I cannot yet judge the app to its fullest extend due to one significant problem: I do not have a Samsung phone, but an LG, hence I lack a menu button. How am I supposed to install any ROMs into the emulator, etc? Am I missing something? It's a pity, really, it seems most of the users enjoy the app...
I can't emulate Snatcher on OpenMSX,don't have the proper system roms,please help! Damn good emulator! Also needs haptic feedback!
some zip games don't run that depend on goodset.

It look that it is a pro. One. No help info to use.
Totally unintuitive. Its terrible interface is so confusing, I don't even know where or what to click. It keeps me stuck on the first screen.
It seems to be great as far as getting it to emulate the msx and the authors certainly put a lot of work into this. However it's horribly difficult to navigate in its cramped up interface which makes for an unpleasant experience
Finally most optimize msx emulator, i've been search for a while and this is the good one, have'nt encoutering any issue while playing metal gear 2 solid snake
