I was excited about the new release but regret upgrading since this new version has more refresh issues than the previous one. You send a text or receive a text and it just does not display in the history. I'm not sure how you can release an update that has these basic fundamental bugs. I'll be happy to change my rating as soon as these are resolved

The desktop app works okay but the mobile app is unusable. I can't log in or out, it freezes, and states no number is available. We just ported our business lines over and slowly regretting it. Edit: Increasing my review stars because support got on this and fixed it within 1hour. I'm not a big fan of email only support but so far no emergencies to the point I need a number to call.

App works fine until it decides to stop working. I had an issue with messages not delivered or delivered duplicate messages. After that, property wont save and sometimes it saves but won't display. After sometime you will see 3 property fields. So you have to walk blind assuming it saved the details in property until you find it didnt.. pic option in notes would be great so we dont have to put all details in.

I updated my app recently. Besides of being slower than previous releases, I can no longer send any message out. It shows message sent but recipients never get the message. This app already lacks many basic text messaging features but now is not even usable. SAD. I guess it's time to move on.

The app overall does what it says but since the update its difinately slower and it seems to gave a lag in updating information between my phone and desktop. All support can suggest is make sure everything is current. and can you send us an example. How do i create a lag it happens. Must change soon our i will take my 3 lines of business elsewhere.

Buggy. If I type a message and the phone rotates it kills my message and goes back to the main screen. It won't safe drafts so then I have to start over. Now I am having flickering and when I click a number it keeps scrolling up when I am trying to text. Sometimes my phone just turns black when using it. It gets worse and worse.

Really strongly dislike the new update, much less information displays on a single screen during chats or call history. The app also shows less information on call history, I can no longer tell what user answered a call (huge bummer). Do like the updates to snoozing or going offline, but overall, I liked the old version and really miss it- it was more useful.

The latest release of the app for Android is giving us no end of trouble . Messages are not being sent (but show as having been) conversations rewind to the top rather than going to the most recent exchange and there is considerable lag.

I use this app for my business and have had 0 issues with them. Very easy to use. I have a seperate ring tone for my business vs personal. 10 out of 10 experience so far. No spam calls.

Platform is amazing! Android app is shamefully terrible. Call quality is often unusable of not on wifi. The app does not refresh conversations. Transfer function is only available on iphone and not Android app.

A disappointing and unpleasant customer experience. I received an email today informing me I need to update my payment method. As soon as I try to sign into my account, I find that my account is blocked, and I have no access to my number or options for solving the payment method issue. This is a very bad customer service experience.

The app and service works really well. The team at Openphone is very attentive and supportive, especially during the onboarding process. They go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with their product, even when you don't need it. The constant checking-in is welcomed, though some people would find it too much. Really happy to have chosen Openphone as my remote connection phone service.

I was also fooled by the great looking interface, and all the features it offers, but when it comes to texting for some reason after a few text messages it blocks me from sending out text messages by saying "undelivered" with a red X, I have to swtich to my personal line to call and text my clients back which is why I started using this service in the beginning so I would not have to expose my personal line. Super bad!! If texting gets fixed this app would be a 5 star app, right now 1 ⭐

I'm living abroad for an extended time and I wanted to save my US phone number that I've had since 8th grade. Hearing some ambivalent-sounding things about Google Voice, I sought out a company that's more actively managing their product and could help me with the transition. It's been nothing but a delight, they've handled the porting easily, and they've made what could have been an annoying process manageable and pleasant. Their customer service is prompt and knowledgeable. It's sort of astounding US carriers have overlooked this for so long, but it's their loss. Thanks to OpenPhone, I've got a great solution.

Great, feature rich app, that leaves a lot to be desired. Has ability to record all calls, but only within the app, not if call is forwarded to another phone through the menu, or if call forwarding is turned on. If you have the menu enabled there's no option to leave a message. Often times contact updates don't show up between devices. If you're on a regular call on your phone and an openphone call comes in through the app it still rings loudly. And it constantly drops calls...constantly.

Basically, the customer support is incredibly responsive and helpful, and you can tell a lot of work has gone into making the UI really snappy/user-friendly. For me I just wasn't able to use it because it kept either not showing text messages that people had sent me (i.e., they would say "did you get my text?" but it wasn't there), or wouldn't send text messages I sent to others. I'm totally sold on everything else, though, so going to try again in a few months to see if these issues have been addressed. If so I'm definitely switching over to OpenPhone!

It's great for being on the budget. For just $10 you can make your small business be more professional and have tons of great features. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the notification system for calls doesn't ring on the phone but as a notification instead and would be nice and easy if it just rang like a normal call. Unless that already is possible then I have no clue how to set that up. Other than that it's solid for the price.

Easy for teams to manage all texts phone calls and notifications in one place. I especially being able to easily record phone calls for reference in the future, as details can be easily lost in a long phone call. App has been getting continued updates and improvements. Very convenient since the updates have happened. Hope they continue to improve and get better over time.

I like the app, but it's not perfect. If you're using on your phone, you can't have other apps open dominating the screen or it'll go digital. If your screen goes off, same problem. I need to be able to talk as I'm doing other things, not being able to put my phone in my pocket is a problem. That said, it picked up regularly (more reliable than skype). Just didn't work out for me. Giving an extra star for the 7 day trial, thank you.

I use this as my contact number for work, it's great as its keeps my personal and work messages separated. The Business Hours and Do Not Disturbe features are very useful. I do wish the text messages could be stored locally on the phone, sometimes I do not have service and are unable to review important texts. There's also issues with Bluetooth connectivity and not receiving/sending texts when in lower quality service even those emails and IM come through on other applications. Could be 5/5.

There are times it works great, and others that I can't use it at all. It will never pop on my screen that a call is coming through, I can't send text messages at times without exiting and then re-entering the app. Update: And now, I've stopped receiving notifications when a text or call comes in. Overall a terrible app for business purposes.

Have been using this app for 2.5 years! A ton of glitches. Cannot click pictures that are sent via text to enlarge and/or zoom in. Cannot receive picture messages from time to time. Missed calls because app does not ring. Cannot upload pics from phone to send via text from time to time. Additional update: Tech support DOES NOT respond to text messages!!!!

It is a good idea and works well most days, but it isn't reliable enough to replace an actual phone. Occasionally it doesn't ring and I sometimes have to restart the app to make calls. The call quality is good 90% of the time but the people I speak with say the call quality breaks up occasionally even when I and the person I am speaking with are remaining stationary.
