Openrider - GPS Cycling Riding

There are several ways to get to the destination I searched in this App. It recommended the worst route imaginable. Not only from a time & distance standpoint but, from a safety point. Also, I could not see any difference from their suggested route and their alternative route. Trying to search for a destination was pointless. I was only able to by using the "Point On Map" feature. Sorry, but I can not recommend this App.

This is actually great app, it has customizeable dashboard, it can be connected to different sensors without separate cyclocumputer, it has battery/ night mode/ navigation. The only major problem is the frequent "Pausing" or it suddenly stop working/detecting you're moving and wont recover and will mess up ur ride record. Your data is also not synch to your account, when u uninstall ir clear data of app, ur back to zero. Searching for destination also is not working unless u manually set it.

not accurate very accurate. i was sitting down messing with the app and it gave me an average speed of 1.3mph and the was showing that i was walking in my house. the rout options are horrible for Charlotte NC. this app added 2.4 miles to a very simple destination. the generated routs also had unnecessary detours, many through poorly maintained roads and the app did not place me on marked bike routes. if i could customize the route then this app might be worth keeping.

I use this for my stationery exercise bike and it works well on Galaxy S9 Plus. The only problem is there's an endless turning circle when I try to contact the app with Google Fit. The app does send some but not all data to Google though but it doesn't show up in GF as a connected device.

Finally an app which has a nice clean map/speedometer interface and can import gpx files. I just wish it had a fullscreen option since I don't need the status and the menubar when riding. 5 stars if you could add that feature.

Interesting, I just downloaded and used it first time today and my average speed for my 2 mile ride was 195.00mph! I am quite amazed that my bike even held up at that speed. After 3 uses, it only registered one ride. I guess the big Start button so far only works 1 out of 3 times. Do people really use this app? okay I am dropping this from 2 stars to 1 star and removing it. It doesnt really work on my Galaxy S9.

This is my go to cycling app. Very dependable and easy to use. What i love the most from this app is the leaderboard, it motivates you to do more cause it ranks you with all the other riders all over the world using this app. Kudos to the developers.

App constantly crashed, even when running in the background. I had to uninstall it, because it would lag out my phone and whatever app I was using at the time.

Really like the ease of use and screen interface. Only problem is with the calculation of the elevations in the climbs

It is still in the development stage I believe and make a donation hoping to stop ads but in return I still got the ads even donating I do wish that ads could be smaller... and have an option of having to play your music when doing my cycling so at end I need to uninstall after 30 minutes even if I donated and come back to the better application I also purchased Is not worth a penny if you asked me there are a lot free apps in android which is a lot better again i am sharing as a consumer point of view anyways I gave 3 stars

I have to re-connect my bluetooth speed sensor every time I start to ride. And when my Samsung Watch's screen is off, the app cannot receive live heart rates even the watch's apps is on.

I brace my phone to handlebar and this app turn it into a nice bike computer, I link cadence and heartrate sensor and it show on the speedometer, and the best part is it will share your ride data automatically to strava after you finish your ride 👍👍👍👍👍

The app doesn't work I press start It doesn't record anything. I tried it several times I guess you have to pay the premium cost for it to work. Ridiculous, I'm going to uninstall it right now. I would give it a zero star if there was a zero star.

This is a fantastic app. I put this on my bike and it records the ride my speed my calories burned its excellent what a great free app. It makes my bike ride so much fun and I use my phone then cost me nothing. Excellent!

A few things to say, maybe later will update, but right off the bat; as much excited I was to see this, I am discouraged to use based on a $10 subscription, this is insane...

Better than any speedometer. Only issue is that it will overheat and turn off, figure out a way to keep your phone cool and it's all good

Bought subscription to be able to use with my Galaxy watch along with H7 bluetooth hrm chest strap. But upon using it I realize that the watch interface does not display the BPM info, duhhh!!!!

Keeps asking for access to my storage everytime I start the app. I dont want to be reminded that it's for backing up up ride info. Uninstalled.

It doesn't work at all in my MotoG7. Too bad because I loved it on my Samsung S5. I mean it doesn't really do ANYTHING.

Last update the app now freezes and while my sensor works in settings it doesn't work on exercise bike setting now.

this app is a joke -run the app-tap start button-lock the phone-start cycling turned out the app didnt even record my whole progress, TWICE BACK AND FORTH waste of time
