This card really helped my credit! Have been using for 2 years now. Pros: App works fine, though I have never tried automatic payments as I have read bad reviews about that. I just log in and pay my bill online every month. Will take a few days to process, but if you pay right after it's available (before due date) it's not a problem. Cons: Long hold times (45 & 41 min) on phone. But operator was friendly. Also they charge credit limit at time of application before you're even approved!

Credit card scam sometimes comes from the company issuing the card. After many years of not using it establishing credit I first went to opensky. My mistake. I should have performed better research. A secured card, I put front all the money and they decide when it's time to credit an account. Slowest at processing payments and returning credit usage, ten days it took from my last transaction and that's ten days from the time I paid my bill through my bank account by debit card.

Horrible customer service, can't even enroll without a computer. The options are there on the app and website accessed from my phone and I'm able to put everything in. For some reason it says my information isn't what is on file. I put it in over 30 times and slower than a damn sloth to make sure I wasn't messing up. Screw this company. I regret choosing them. Zero damn stars. Don't apply!

Wouldn't recommend this card for international travel. They blocked the card and it's a hassle to get it unblocked. They claim the country I'm visiting is flagged due to large cases of fraud, even though I submitted a notification that I would be traveling, now I am unable to use my card. So far I don't have an issue using my other cards.

OpenSky is the worst credit card company I have ever dealt with. Don't get this credit card! My most recent complaint is I closed my account and paid the remaining funds that I owed before the due date. I told them to keep the collateral I submitted in the beginning which brings the balance to 0. I was told if I don't make another payment on the due date I'll get another late fee because it could take them up to 15 days to close my account despite the fact that I closed it 3 days ago Incredible!

For all the ppl that were having a issue with login on the app or the web I used a vpn and that fixed the issue immediately.As for the card and Opensky they both have helped me improve my credit score dramatically edit: They offered me the opensky gold card it supposably came I never activated it and they still hit me with the annual fee smh (hence the 3 stars)🤦🏿‍♂️ not liking that I should have never accepted it. Customer service wasn't to bad but the app is basic extremely.

I wish I listened to other reviews about how awful it is. They ruined my credit by making 2 unauthorized adjustments. That put me at a negative balance. I lost 92 points on my credit report because of this. There is no one to respond unless by mail. No phone number. It is the most stressful credit card I've ever had. I regret getting it because they make decisions for you and it really damages things. Trust me when I say; don't waste your time with these jerks

This is just an emergency card. It pays for my gas and online services. I withdraw my payment automatically so I will not be late. Sometimes I pay more than I suppose to. Customer service is great never had an issue do far. Ok now the negative: posting my payments to my account. It shows the new balance but not the correct available credit. Also they reported the wrong balance to the credit bureaus and it dropped my score 5 pts and they didn't fix it. So this card didn't improve my credit at al

This is easily the worst Credit Card app I've ever used. Hands down no contest. I've made multiple payments through it and literally 0 of them had ever gone through, I did not enter my account information wrong I have confirmed it by re-entering it multiple times. On top of that once I got locked out of my account, the number they gave me to call and fix it went to an automated line. 0 of the options are for unlocking accounts, like actually 0. Use the opensky website. It actually works.

Haven't had any issues with the app. It's basic. Easy to make payments and check balance. I've only contacted cs by phone using the website never the app so can't review for that. I've had this card for almost 2 years. Never an issue with posted payments. They do take a few days to post, but as long as YOU PAY BY THE DUE DATE, your payment will be marked as paid on time. Some of the reviews clearly read of people who have money management issues. Keep low utilization. App is perfectly fine.

WORST Customer Service!!! This app is very simple. Low to no user interaction here. It doesn't even allow you to click on any of your transactions, to view the details. This card DOES help with your credit score, which is great! WORST customer service, on the planet though! It's like everyone I've talked to, has a chip, on their shoulder, even when you had to stay on the line, for a long time, to get a simple question answered, because there was no other way, to find things out! So crazy!

Absolutely horrible app. They won't even let you enter the correct information on your card and open an account. Also they return checks for no legit reason when you have the funds to pay your bill in full. I'm very disappointed in OpenSky and will definitely be switching to another credit card company. I was trying to build my credit but they are making it impossible.

Nothing extrodinary, it is a pre payed card. But I can't be more thankful I got this one. Got it back in spring of 2017(my first card), put $200 to get it, and after five months of on time payments they raised it to $300. Jump a head to February of this year, I've been getting pre approval letters up the wazoo, and got another card with a way higher limit. The app isn't anything fancy but I can easily pay my bill whenever I want and schedule the payment. Never had a problem with it.

I'M ANGRY! I would not recommend using Open Sky. I've made every payment on time, paying at least a week before the due date with $5.00 more the minimum and some how my card is now being declined. I HAVE NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT! The only way to contact them is by writing.

I, like many others, are suddenly not able to log in. The app opens but never opens for me to sign in. Apps are for convenience and ease of operation. Very irritating that I can't get in to make payments when this affects my credit. I shouldn't have to go to the website to do this now, but I suppose that's my only option at this point.

Slowest customer service wait time ever.. Almost an hour wait.. everytime.. High annual fees.. And don't think about filing a dispute with them, they will instantly send you a letter after you speak to them asking for all the information you already provided over the phone and close your duspute in 7 days if not received.. Did i mention it takes them 12 days to receive and process payment if you're sending a check or using bill pay with your bank.. TRASH.

Zero stars should be an option for the worst banking system ever. These people charge you an annual payment just for having the card. I acquired one as an emergency card and that was a huge mistake. I never used the card at all but yet the one time I forgot the annual payment was due, I received no emails of a warning. Their user app interface has very limited functions to make payments. In trying to rectify the misunderstanding I was only met with rude customer demanding money.

App is basic, but serves it's purpose. I've had this card for a year and a half and only put my streaming service bill on it. I pay it off every month well before the due date to avoid any delays that may cause a late fee. This card has reported to the credit bureaus as it should and has built good credit history for me. If you're responsible with your payments, this card will build good credit history and allow you to apply for better unsecure cards that will raise your available credit.

As an app it is comprehensive and easy to use. Im giving 1 star because I was recently using a phone with an infinity screen and I kept triggering extra characters in my password and got my username locked. OK. No big deal just call the number right? WRONG. the number leads to a fully automated menu in which NONE of the options lead to ANYTHING about help with unlocking your online account and absolutely NO way to contact a live body except for writing a letter?? Not even an email address?? 🤬

Was never able to use this app. Open Sky customer service is the worst I have dealt with as far as credit cards go. Rude, cold, and no empathy, even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I was constantly bombarded with late notices and billing statements (even after calling and attempting to explain that I was laid off from work) my account was closed February 2021 after missing only two payments and my account was closed. I did pay my balance off and they were quick to report that to credit bureau

My total credit is never updated and this app is terrible or could it be that whoever is in charge of updating all balances is just terrible at their job. You guy's need to keep on top of everything because you guys are slacking on all the clients you have.

Hi love the card great credit starting only thing is you can't pay bill with debit card online but if you have a PayPal account you can use that but other than that I have got 10 points in a year of having this card just keep it in good standing

Horrible! Don't sign up with this bank. They stole 200$ and then told me I owed them an extra 15 dollars without explaining why. Trust me. Not worth it. Don't do it. They don't deserve no stars. Don't believe their advertising. It's false. They said they don't charge and yet I had multiple charges on my account.

I have been completely locked out of my app for over 2 weeks and I am not able to pay on my credit card or even check my balance due to the fact. The only way to contact Open Sky is through mail . What if I need to use my card for an emergency and I am unable to use it because I can't add money to it. The fact that no one's available at all except through mail is ridiculous and scary.NO customer service available at all! Only good thing is that opensky does report to the credit bureaus

Log in suddenly stopped working today. Says "invalid log in", but I can log in through the browser version just fine. Even changed my pw through the browser to make sure I wasn't just messing up, but nope, still says invalid only through the app every time. And there's literally zero ways to get in contact with these people, the phone directory doesn't even offer all the options it says prior to you pressing that option.
