Great solo/multiplay game if one likes the genre, a bit hard to play on a small screen and you should tune it to the best resolution for your device. A bit buggy sometimes, it should seriously handle the case when Google Play Games is not installed, and not hang at the first save attempt, as it does now. It's had this bug for years ..

It's great that you have optimized the game but new issues arises that I can't change the character model because the buttons were way too below, last version was better, so please maybe since this was open sourced and you can modify it (although release the source as compliance) at least it's fixed. Changing resolution didn't fix either

Sure why not.. lets port a game designed to be played with a mouse to a touch screen... surely this will work out fine and be extra comfortable and convenient to play Just slap a ctrl button on the side and make the map a bit smaller (i assume) to accommodate weaker devices.. No problem whatsoever

I loved this game when I was young, and now the transition to mobile is simply awesome. Thank you for the effort! One request would be to bring support for an S Pen. I currently have the Note 10 Lite, but the cursor disappears as soon as I try to use the Pen.

I'm glad this game has been ported to android. It's a underrated classic of a game and deserves more light. The people who rate it 1/5 are clearly not very patient. I see people complain about the lack of a tutorial but there is literraly a tutorial in the start screen. I see that some people are also complaning about the UI but this game is probably older than the concept of a smartphone. They made this game in 2004. THE GAME CAN DRINK NOW (in europe). I think people need patience.

in the latest version, the aircraft management window is too big, all the button at the bottom of window such as vehicle replace, etc, and the window resize handle now out of reach, please fix it, but still 5 stars anyway, thanks.

The game may seem basic judging by the graphics, but is actually a very in-depth logistics game. You can make complex train networks, busing and trucking systems, along with boats and planes. My only complaint, however, stems from that fact that this a mobile version of game designed for a computer, meaning the controls weren't designed to be used on a phone. Other that that, it is an overall great game.

First off, if you aren't interested in strategy, this ISN'T for you. However, if you like retro games, if you like strategy, and you like tycoons, then this is definitely for you. This game is an excellent port of an old game. The game doesn't have an adequate tutorial, so you'll have to find out a few things on your own. Once you get past that, however, things are pretty fun from there. The content is fully customizable from the gameplay difficulty to the controls and button sizes.

Just as I remember it from the pc, somewhat more challenging using a tiny touch screen but really it's remarkable how well the devs have translated it. Only one real issue - the road bridge isn't a road bridge. It's a rail bridge, meaning I can't build road bridges which, obviously, can be an issue at times. It'd be great to get that fixed. Thx.

Great game, amazing job porting from pc, but there's one problem: The hideous control scheme. As a PC port, obviously the original controls are vastly different, but my god I had no idea how much of a blessing a simple mouse and keyboard is. Overall, the devs did the best they could. 4/5, recommend to people with patience and willingness to learn a confusing control scheme.

An incredibly well-implemented port from PC to mobile, anyone with enough playtime on the PC version and familiar enough with a mobile phone should be able to overcome the initial learning curve (mobile controls and panning) with relative ease. Overall it runs smoothly and my first run broke profit in the 2nd year, debt free in the 3rd year with a healthy profit (granted, I know the game and cargo payment value quite well). Very enjoyable game. Thanks for this.

Great! I decided to play this instead of the remake by Chris Sawyer (despitethe graphics being great and reminding me of RCT2) on my Laptop. I tried it on my phone but it isn't the best, as in the interface and controls being the same for laptops. Opening tabs blocks the view of the game and makes it pretty inconvenient, it's ob something small so that's expected. Overall, best game and will continue playing but on Laptop/PC

This game goes very in detail about managing a traffic empire. I have been constantly pouring many hours into this game, and saying I like it is a underestimate. However, there are some bugs, one being your save files will be erased without the owner of the save file deleting it manually. I don't mind it personally, just be aware it can happen. Overall definitely worth it to anyone who is a big transporter or city builder person.

Love it. Brilliant! And for you that doesn't know. This is a computer game from the 90s that have been rewritten to mobile. It is a complex game. I've spent many hours in front of our Pentium 166mhz. If you take the time to understand the game, it's brilliant. A useful tip is always go for the announced subsidies. They will come. Click the newspaper when they do. To exit anything look to the upper left. Zoom is your friend. Road and railway is drag and drop.

Great port of the game, its just like the pc version with all of its features, I have easily been able to download some AIs and graphics packs without any issues. Controls arent so good, one would need a lot of patience to create any larger networks also the UI for events takes up too much space in the lower center part of the screen.

This game is great! If you're a new player, it is easy to get scared away, but look up how to play and it can be a really relaxing game for all player types. If you want to play against something but you're antisocial, I highly recommend the AdmiralAI, it's a very tough AI to beat. However, you can play against (or with!) other people in multiplayer.

Quite decent attempt to recreate the original. Low score for graphics is due to the fact that this game replicates the original a bit too well and original graphics is, well, lame compared to what it could be today (I still have my original ttd cd). I am kind of sad that the mods are quite dusty and many are broken due to core game advancement. Mod database definately not phone friendly, either, as it is impossible to read descriptions or requirements for over half of the items.

i first played this on dos.. i like all the extra content it is a pc game so the interface is small in places, but manageable - 8inch tablet or bigger reccomended. its a complex game, kinda and the options are very vast for a 1st timer, there are notification options (people with one star have complained about this frequently) to turn down frequency of them. it was annoying on dos... ;) the aim is simple. transport raw goods to processor plants and then transport them to citys to make money.

OpenTTD is an Open Source remake of Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Has plenty of mods and zero monetisation. The mods can be: maps, AI to play against, vehicle models, scripts and so on

I absolutely love OpenTTD on PC, and this port is the same great game but on mobile! I've sunk hours on the mobile port just as I have with the original. My only criticism would be with the controls, but the developers did their best to port it to a touchscreen (I just find touchscreens very frustrating) It's still damn good, and the best free game on Android. I wish there were more classics like this ported

Not only is this the greatest train tycoon that ever was or will be but it is also totally free with no ads.

This game is pretty good. The only problems with this port are that sometimes it's hard to click on the right thing, and if you don't like looking at small things on a small screen then you won't like this. I had a great fun time playing OpenTTD here but I think I prefer to play it on my computer. This is really good for when playing on the phone is your only option. It's very well made.

Loved the original and this is so close to that classic..... Don't try any others if you want the original experience!!
