I would say that, for a port, this is very good! The audio and visuals are excellent, basically running like its on an old windows PC . For the controls I am using touch screen on my LG thin Q and are pretty smooth and responsive, I would imagine a game pad would be even better. I only have one small complaint, when selecting a left or right sidekick, the game won't let me select some even though I have enough points. Other than that I love the game!

Buggy touchscreen implementation, certain menu options are unclickable or have no text display. Sidekicks are hard to use and do not have intuitive controls. The game worked great on my old Droid 2 when I had a physical keyboard to play with, but as a touchscreen only game it has some serious problems. The gameplay itself is solid, Arcade mode is perfectly playable, but Story mode is a buggy mess. These problems have existed for over 5 years now without a fix.

This game is a wonderful port of one of the best space shooters of all times, but unfortunately you can't play episode 5 (I finished the game lots of times but i can't acces to the bonus episode, I hope that they will add a port for Tyrian 2000 too), also the controls are very frustrating and finishing the game in hard mode is a true chanlage (especialy when you reach the level "new deli" in the fourth episode). I hope in a future update to add the fifth episode.

Every few years, I find myself rediscovering this game from my childhood. The gameplay, the music, the sheer length of the campaign, the secrets. It's really one of the best scrolling shooter games to ever grace the gaming world and the complete game is now on my phone. Simple amazing.

Runs just like the original but suffers from poor controls. Joystick overlay are very annoying to set up, layout uses wrong theme, making it difficult to set a nice layout. Floating joystick is unfortunately broken and is scaled incorrectly in game. Making a better default configuration of joystick/mouse and fixing the floating joystick would make the experience better.

This is an awesome port of Tyrian but the only thing missing is the ability to change the game speed! Pls add this option! Game is incredibly hard at top speed! Otherwise a flawless port! Cheers!

Menu options need to be fixed and controls are jumpy. Love that it's a port of the original PC game. Uninstalling but will reinstall at a later date.

Tyrian is an amazing game but it's fundamentally a PC game. Unless the UI and controls are simplified and made more mobile-friendly it'll just be a clunky port, which is sad.

Great game, hardly playable on a phone. Menu options doesn't fit on the screen, touch controls are definitely not the way to play it.

Seems like a promising port, but aspect ratio correction doesn't seem to work and I can't seem to disable scaling for some reason. Will these issues be addressed in the future?

Works 100% perfectly, but the game itself isnt great for a cellphone screen. There are better versions of this type of game out there. But his other game works good too !

The game is amazing, reminds me when I childhood... but unfortunately, the touchscreen control is really bad.

If there was a way to increase the touch input sensitivity so the controls didn't feel as doughy as they are, I would give it 5stars. Please, please fix this!

While I am amazed and grateful that this Android port of my favorite game exists, the touch controls are pure garbage. Take a page from Freedoom's book on how to implement a DOS game port on Android. I can't stand these jittery controls, and I know that superior implementations exist.

Can we get an update to play this with the correct aspect ratio? It stretches to fill my screen and as such heavily distorts the game. I have this on my PC and that version has correct aspect

Nice port! i remember first time played it using windows 98. I use bluetooth controller, because the touch screen controller really mess up my gameplay.

Very difficult to play on a smartphone. The game just isn't reaponsive enough to the touchscreen.

Beautifully made for thr phone. A great way to waste hours blowing away the enemy. I also love the music.

Great conversion of the original. Would prefer a portrait gameplay field though. Brings back the memories.

Tremendous game but it doesn't control all that great on mobile. The controls are definitely better on PC.

This game used to be so good and now it is on mobile, controls ain't perfect but the game is still fun, and the soundtrack slaps!

This is a really great game! I loved playing it on a computer and it's just as good on Android. It has keyboard support so I can play it on my chromebook.

This is an amazing emulation of the original Tyrian. I beat thru this thing in 6 hours and my ship now shoots f***ing hot dogs. 🤣🤣🤣 i love all the secrets to this game!

great classic, solid play, but finger control is poor compared to keyboard or mouse (Tyrian2000). worthy of wasting my time though!

controls are horrible; too many features in controls to tweak which might make it playable maybe.

Excellent port of the original. Hours upon hours of fun trying to get the zirca lasers. Excellent job.
