OpenWoW - Real Claw Machine

While I do enjoy this app, I've had a few problems mainly with some of the claw machines themselves, and with the player turn system. There have been a few occasions where I've won a prize, and either the claw wouldn't drop it, prize chute was backed up, or it wouldn't count it. I've also had issues with trying to play but having others "cut in front" so-to-say. Either than these few occurences, it's honestly a pretty great app, and easy to earn coins to play, just needs a bit of work, but fun!

The machine and camera lag is absolutely horrendous and half the time the machine doesn't even do what you want it to do. I hold down and it goes right all the way then down all the way. The saving grace of this game is it really does seem legit if you can get passed the awful controls. They give you free coins, the bigger prizes are to be gotten through collecting "puzzle pieces", and if they can fix the camera system and game response it would be amazing!

Not hard to win, but very glitchy. You do have to pay for shipping, but with all the free coins you get in this game, it really balances out. I won 3 prizes without buying coins out of pocket and shipping for all three comes out to less than $20. I would have spent a lot more in other games that offer free shipping just on plays. VERY GLITCHY THOUGH. The machine is not in sync with your controls so you really need to tap in the direction you want to go and hope for the best.

Overall the prize selection and setup is very well done, however, I cannot give it more than 2 stars at this time. The input lag is very bad. Sometimes the crane doesnt even let me go where I want and it wastes coins. I was able to win some prizes though, only to find out it costs $20 to ship. THATS INSANE. Not paying $30 in total for $10 worth of items.

Entertaining to watch, not quite as entertaining to play. Very serious delay. About 5 seconds to be exact. When you attempt to play the machine, it skips back to the previous person as if they just activated the claw. So when you move it, you have to wait to see where exactly you moved it to. You have "25" seconds to try and catch something, but with the lag it feels more like 10.

For the most part this app is fairly decent, but there are two things I would like to address. 1. When you play one of the claw machines only once, the camera works just fine. But after you play the same claw machine a few more times just to win the item you want, the camera will be slow at keeping up with the way your controlling the claw itself. 2. The shipping prices for the items you win are a little bit much. The prices for shipping can range from $11 to a higher price.

I had over 300 coins. Everytime I played the claw did not move with the controls. It moved on its own. Not where I wanted it to go. The camera position is horrible. It asks if there was a problem with controls but no way to send the problem to services to help. I lost 359 coins for nothing. It was as if someone else was playing game but I lost the coins. The controls just don't work. Don't download this app until/unless they fix their game!!!

Excellent concept. TERRIBLE EXECUTION!! Its a VERY exciting idea and I almost got sucked in within the first few rounds, but the lag is ridiculous (literally unplayable because of that). If you win a prize you have to pay an absurd amount for shipping. Just spend $10 on a cheap toy from Walmart or Amazon instead.. This game has an amazing concept and could definitely be one of the best claw games on the market, if the lag was fixed, and a few optimizations. Crashes after each round..

The camera positioning is appalling, with it positioned on the top right edge of the claw, making it really hard to judge where the claw will land. There is also issues with lag if you try to start moving the claw before the timer starts. The one pro this app has is that you can get a few goes each day for free, unlike most claw games where you only get a few at the start and then have to pay to ever play again.

The responsiveness of the controls to the claw are absolutely horrible. There is a 5 second delay for even the slightest of movement which might not sound bad but its terrible because you only get 25 seconds to maneuver it around. I would also say the amount of coins you must use just for one play is a bit high especially with their concept of having to play multiple times to "collect all the pieces" to even get the prize you're going for. Overall i would say, dont waste your time with this app.

It is possible to win things on the app without having to spend money, although it seems impossible to win the expensive items without spending. I won a few things and had them shipped, the catch here is that you pay for shipping and it is not cheap. It took a while, but my items did all arrive. Unfortunately they are not good quality and one item was missing a small piece. I'm giving 2 stars due to the quality of items, the lag on the app and now actually it no longer seems to work.

It seemed fine at first. However, after I ordered my first prize in the mail the game became unplayable. Either it won't let me into certain rooms or if I do get to play then the claw has a mind of its own. My internet is stellar so I know it's not my connection. There's no consistency. Sometimes you tap right and it goes right a bit. Sometimes you tap right and it maxes out the right direction and the claw slams into the wall. Frustrating. Not recommended

Pros: there is a large variety of prizes Cons: when you are working towards the higher value prizes, you have to collect a set number of pieces which you get by winning. The closer you are to getting all the pieces, the harder it is to win. For instance, it becomes impossible to join games as the link will always time out and the claw isn't as strong. If you play in the dame exact room (there's only like 10 rooms across ALL prizes), you'll have no problem connecting and winning.

It glitches 80% of the time. Just watching others play you can tell when their game is glitching even though the glitch isn't happening on your screen. The claw will move even if you haven't touched the button. The camera, not due to Wi-Fi issues, will be at least 6 seconds behind(it's often more than 6 seconds). Also pressing the buttons still makes the claw move in real time it just won't show on the screen. And If you do accidently catch something you have to pay around $20 for shipping.

Bad. The camera starts playing parts of the previous player's turn after you start your play, WASTING your TIME waiting for the camera to catch up to current time, and wasting your COINS. The controls are just as bad, just a tap on the buttons sends the claw all the way across the box. The claw sometimes opens early, dropping the prize or even doesnt even close at all until the very end like it actually got something in the first place. I do not recommend this game.

There's absolutely no control over this game. I only stuck around long enough to use the free coins they give you for joining. I'd press a direction button and the claw didn't move for maybe 10 seconds (keep in mind it gives you 30 seconds before automatically trying to grab a toy). The first time I kept pressing buttons and the claw landed in a good place luckily.. Then last minute it moved over to the only area in the machine where there were no toys.

I do not recommend this game. Even if you win the shipping is very expensive. The game hasn't acknowledged my wins several times and cuts off the camera before showing the end. The prize spinner has always only ever given me 10 coins (the lowest prize). And the controls on the games are always laggy. This game is a waste of time, do not install it!

Game is unplayable in it's current state. The lag and latency issues with the claw do not allow you to set up an accurate grab. The claw travels random distances when tapping the move button, sometimes a little like it should or all the way across the machine. Once this is fixed the app will be a lot better off. I finally won a prize but it did not give it to me and told me I had a 'bad connection' keep it up. These 5 star reviews are very obviously faked. They give away coins for a good review.

It's okay. The claws grab and you can actually win stuff! But the shipping prices are where they get you. It's 10$ or 20$ for something that should only cost 3$ to ship. It's ridiculous. There's bad lag, but you can still win things. There is a way to win a free shipping voucher, but it's random chance, therefore basically impossible. I love the prizes I caught, but I am NOT paying that much to ship them. It's utterly insane. Wish it was like Toreba where you can get things shipped free.

This would be one of the better prize claw apps on the store, but the machine is out of sync every time I play. The claw won't move sometimes, then other times will move erratically then move back to the start and drop the claw. It looks like extreme latency, and or poor control integration. I am not sure where the machine are located geographically, buy toreba is based in japan and I have no problems with their machine at all. This has potential, but is really just a waste of money for now.

Its starting to go down hill. When I first downloaded this game It was very fun. Yes it lags but you could get free coins every Six hours so it made up for that. Now you have to play trivia for coins which I hate. The cost per play has went up, and it still lags Just as bad. plus I push the direction button once sometimes and the claw goes all the way in that direction. Shipping is expensive but I didn't mind because ofthe free coins but the changes are making me want to quit playing.

I wish I could give this a better review - the prizes are great and usually pretty cute. Plus you can get tons of coins because they give you a good amount each day. However, there is constant lag and the claw rarely responds to your choice of movement and if it does it often just does it's own thing. If that could be fixed, it would easily be 5 starts for me.

The game is extremely laggy, it takes several seconds just for it to move the direction you pressed. You could tap the arrows as gently as possible and it will still move the claw all the way to the other side of the machine. With a 25 second time limit its impossible to center the claw where you want it given the lag as well as it randomly moving the claw farther than you pressed for it to. Edit: I used the last of my free coins on a single game and it almost immediately stated I lost.

Sometimes not able to move the claw whatsoever, other times it lags out so bad it just does ANYTHING at all. There is never a clear way to tell when it's my turn other than when it is the countdown, because I'm not able to control where it goes and instead I'm just watching it scroll across the screen. Of course I enjoy this game but it's just not winnable like this.

Really glitchy and the video of the machines lags horribly. I had several times where the claw actually picked up a doll but due to lag my timer ran out and didn't register that I had won. Sometimes the claw would be totally unresponsive and would go wherever it wanted. Other times the video would glitch out and replay what had just happened which keeps you from seeing what you are doing if it happens in the middle of a turn. I wasted a little bit of money on this. Don't be like me. Garbage.

Shipping is outrageous and the controls are terrible. Even if you win, you'll have to pay like $8 per item for shipping lol. No way am I paying that. You should go on eBay and buy 10 of those items for $5 with FREE shipping within the same country. What a joke. Shipping two plushies for almost $20.. I'm uninstalling. They should look at the other claw machine apps and realize that they need to change it if they want more people using the app

What a laggy mess of an app. Before writing this review, I took count of how long it took me to be able to play a single attempt. After not being able to connect to a machine 9 times, I finally connected but when at last I got to play, the controls had so much of a delay that my play was over before the first arrow button I hit registered. It is a shame because this app is one of the better looking claw machine apps I have attempted to play with very good daily bonuses. But its unplayable

50% of the time when I tap or push a directional button it'll go all the way in that direction, 25% of the time it'll just twitch as if the claw was broken and leaving not enough correct movement to actually get something. Half the time it doesn't even let me see it try to get the prize it just cuts to the wheel I can't spin and then if I hit to use the machine again it'll show the video of me trying to grab the toy instead of letting me play the machine. I have lost so many coins it's sad..

Originally I gave this app a very low score. The claw machines were unresponsive, very bad lag time to the point you would play blindly and see video what you did after the gameplay had already ended and you usually missed but once in a while got lucky. They have greatly improved this. It is not perfect and there are still times the lag is a nightmare. But it has gotten better enough that I can recommend it now, especially because you get a good number of coins daily for free. Just answer trivia

Ok I've been using this app every day for a week. And the connection is a huge issue. I've had camera issues where there's like a 5 second delay. Also you only get to see the top down view from the claw you can't actually see the whole machine. And there's so many times where a machine is vacant and I still can't play it says the machine link timed out. Very frustrating app and definitely needs an update. Gave it another chance. And it didn't register my win.. Worst claw app ever.
