Opera Mini - fast web browser

What's up (well i should say "down" !) with this app ?? YouTube cannot be used, any website is opened as if i was an administrator (no images, no links, all texts like drafts !) And sometimes you even can't browse back !! And when switching to "Private" nothing works !!! The worth app version ever !!!! Please : do something quickly or you'll loose nearly all users.

I've been using Opera Mini since the Series40 and Symbian phones era and I'm still using it today because it's lightweight (compared to Chrome and Firefox) and because of it's superior data saving and ad blocking feature, but now, all those features that I loved become very useless. The app won't load any website and will constantly ask me to turn off the data saver and the ad blocker doesn't work, I still get tonnes of ads. Very disappointing.

Installed this exclusively for ad blocking and it is perfect. My phone is no longer spammed with full page ads when I unlock my screen and browsing the internet is a lot better without annoying pop-ups every few minutes. The odd advert does get through, but it's a one million percent improvement on what I had before

Update 03/20/22: AdBlock isn't working properly. I was seeing an increasing number of ads, so I turned off the acceptable ads feature. But I continue to see ads. :-( == Liking it so far. It would be great to have a button near the bottom of the screen on the the homepage that would allow you to close all tabs immediately without the extra steps that are needed now. Also News would be greatly improved if I could add my own sources. I would love it and use it all the time then.

This doesn’t meet with my expectations. A lot of features are missing. I can't download an image by tapping on it. I can't view some websites properly with the mode that opera mini comes with. I can't even play videos or watch movies in different websites. The download speed is also slow. Really disappointing.

Before I updated this app, I barely had problems with it. After I updated it, it started giving me a lot of problems, i can barely type anything before it forcefully closes, more than 20 times in less than 2 hours. I can't sync my bookmarks because it starts lagging when I have cellular data. The older version was better, pls fix it

Generally good, but seeing quite a few ads get through, even with data saver turned on. More ads than with Opera regular. Another issue: webpage text size can be erratic. On some pages quite small, on others quite large. Also, a bookmarks import/export function would be handy. Also still a problem when a webpage sometimes doesn't open but stays in speedial.

When I want to share url from another app, there's always an option for opening in Chrome or Firefox, but Opera is never on the share list. So I always have to use copy/paste. Is it because of Opera is missing some features? Or is this problem not related to Opera? UPD: Firefox is not the default browser on my phone, but nevertheless it presents in the sharing list. Along with Telegram and Keep, which are also not default apps for any protocol.

Please allow users to save content in "saved/offline page" on their SD card and not just internal memory. And put a "search" button in saved/offline page, so we don't have to scroll all the way down to look for article, we saved a long time ago. The app is great it save data and it efficient.

Very unresponsive, slow, sluggish. Won't open alot of websites have to open in a new tab. Keeps crashing. I go to my settings and clear cache and force stop but it doesn't help.This used to be a very good browser I don't know what you did to it. Probably some of the updated ruined it.

Fast uses very little data. Great for limited mobile data plans as you get many times the web browsing you would on a conventional browser. Try it you'll love it! Remember to choose which data saver settings you want. Low data savings are only needed if there is a problem with a website otherwise turn it to max data saving and forget it.enjoy!

Hello there it's running very slow at times as you know from feedback I've sent. I appreciate this may take some time to sort. Is it a conflicting problem as when I turn the blocker off on a page I know to be safe (which I don't advise for general use) everything loads. Re Apex football any chance of the news being defined to the league's the users are interested in please.

For the most part Opera Mini is fast and seems to perform similarly to Opera but I tried Opera Mini on multiple devices and had a different experience on each one. On my LG Journey Opera Mini has a problem specifically with YouTube videos having buffering issues when in HD. This issue doesn't happen in other browser like Chrome. On both my LG Treasure and my Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016), the ad blocker was struggling to block ads on at least YouTube, there may have been others but I can't remember. On my HP 7 tablet, most websites don't work properly, even if they work just fine in either Chrome or Opera. As far as I'm aware, the problem with the tablet is caused by the fact that its running android 4.1.2 and the newest version of Opera Mini available is outdated.

Suddenly very glitchy & not as smooth as it used to be just a month ago. Reply: It worked well before then suddenly would freeze as I was just opening app or when I was using it. Reply 2: I deleted the app from phone & downloaded again, seems to be working now. Reply 3: I spoke too soon, it's starting to freeze again.

I do not have notifications turned on. I get a full page, blank, Google ad often when I tried to open a page. It goes to an ad instead of the requested page. I have to ose that and reopen the page. Once again, I am dealing with slow service, for which I pay per minute, and this wastes my time, and money. Opera Mini also asked me to restart to update the other day while I was using it. I have auto updates turned off. I wondered why your app was so slow that day. Firefox was faster with ads.

It's a great browser & downloading app but for some reason the app isn't responding & keeps stopping and this only started happinig after I've unzipped the app to save storage space. After I unzipped the app, it keeps stopping. This has happened before and I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it again.

It's a nice application but the pop ups is kinda annoying which is why I rated it 3 stars. The ads aren't at all useful and if the rate it pops up can be minimised then sure great it would be a better application. But anyways it's a nice one, keep improving.

Since the last update, I can't browse without being bothered by agressive pop up. The Lazada thing. It's so annoying. I just want to search something but the pop up is always leading me to install Lazada app. This is annoying and it keeps on repeating. Maybe it's time to switch to other apps.

Tabs button often doesn't work. So have to close the app and reopen it to switch tabs. Because after reopening tabs button works. So frustrating. This is happening after updates. Before the updates the app was good. I don't understand why every app after update becomes worst.

I have been using opera mini over 5 years and it's has not disappointed me till this year when it has started misbehaving it Hangs up, it brings the notification of restarting almost every time I browse, I am thinking of trying another browser iff the changes are not corrected.

it used to be great but many sites are super slow and eats the 🔋 battery. feature are great and interface excellent. i am using a new browser and its much faster compared to opera mini.

Download manager is terrible. App freezes whenever I pause a download and it's download failed whenever there's a slight network problem (why can't it just pause instead?), so I then have to start the download afresh. Terrible.

I've been using opera for a long time now now, but for whatever reason it doesn't work with wifi. I tried restarting my phone and deleting then downloading the app, but it still doesn't work on wifi.

No force enable zoom accessibility feature. Can't even copy an address from the address bar. Great for downloading videos, not so great on many sites due to slowness. Good ad blocker, however inserts its own ads sometimes.

I've only been using redmi note 10s 5 days, since the beginning using this cellphone I've used opera mini, but suddenly on the 4th day it always bounces out when I want to use it. I try use other applications there's no problems, even I try opera browser and opera mini beta there's also no problems. I've cleared chace, deleted data and reinstalled it still always bounces out.

i have been using opera mini ever since i got a phone and it was nice but the new version is just frustrating. Everytime i open my phone there is a pop up news and i have turned every notification from the app off and it still happens which makes me fear for the security of my phone and so am gonna unistall i don't think i can keep and app that doesn't even respond to the system settings. The app was great but now its just red flags.... 🛃

Can't save images on this app but it sure has best images. I saw some pictures under lifestyle, fashion and beauty,I downloaded it and i saw save but can't see it in my phone going back to download on operamini I saw missing file. help. I try downloading 3 pictures now it downloaded but can only see 1. Please help it's distracting. When I try downloading another one it downloaded but couldn't see the formal one.

For someone who enjoy surfing the web, Opera mini is by far, the best search engine there is. Especially in data saving mode, it is 2-5 times faster than Chrome and up to two times faster than Google itself. Highly recommend this app 100%.

It use to be my favourite browser but now after the last update it keeps crashing anyhow. It always exit itself whereby taking me back to the phone app menu. It brakes my heart to see that stuffs I save for offline reviews lost cause I had to uninstall and reinstall it yet still the same issue reoccurring.

Thank you for making this app, i really had a problem with other browser specially when downloading, but the feature of this browser that makes you save it on a specific folder saves a lot of trouble . Thanks !!!!
