I thought this would be better, anytime I tried to do anything it took me to a screen for the 3 day trial (and tried to bill me) It wouldn't do much else. The one picture I was actually able to apply a filter to (after frustratingly going back and forth with their pop-ups), looked nothing like what was described and distorted the picture in a hideous way. I uninstalled it and will be trying something a little more user friendly. I don't mind paying for a product, but not this one.
Had a very different concept from an ad I saw, because the app was for downloading wallpapers, and if you paid for premium then you could use the photo filters. Before I downloaded it, the description and the ad said there were photo filters within the app, but it was a premium feature, and wasn't the concept of the app though. 2 stars for false advertising.
I downloaded this after seeing an ad showing pics of people being converted into cartoon versions, & I thought it looked prety good so I downloaded it. It's nothing like the ad! It's just another photo filter app, not a particularly noteworty one either, & it has wallpapers to download -- most are sourced from free content sites that can be accessed easily without this app. To access everything you need to undertake a 3-day free trial, & subscription is expensive, so don't forget to cancel it!
Arguably has some of the better effects I've seen, and I do like that all the ads that I say where all front loaded and back loaded, so no watching ads in between previewing the dozens of effects. However, if there truly is a way to use this app entirely free, I couldn't find a way. From the beginning it deceptively makes you think there is no free option. The 3 day trial tries to deceive you into paying yearly. The ad to save your final image never loads, so I never got to export my final image
This application has very few options that are for free, so you are basically left with the original photo you took. The very few free options in this app can also be done in your phones (or other device) built in camera or photo viewing app. In order to use the premium options, one must pay 84 US dollars per year. This truly is an awful application and it is not worthy to take up the space on your device. There are plenty of other applications on the market that are so much better than this.
Literally have to pay for everything. The only thing you don't pay for are just the normal filters that you can literally find in your built in photo editor. The free filters are ones you can find on any other app so unless you pay for the other filters there's no point in downloading this app. It would be good if there was at least one free filter from the filter categories you have to pay for (like cartoon).
As many others have said, it forces you to sign up for a "free trial" to use any features other than wallpapers, after which you will be charged nearly $100. It's advertised as a FREE PHOTO FILTER/EDITING APP, which it is not. All of the advertised features you need to pay for. Do not sign up for the 3 day free trial. Too expensive even for a paid app. $13/month is ridiculous.
Absolute trash. App is falsely advertised as free, as well as misleading. The filter you see in the advertisement is not in the app. The only thing free about this app is the download. This should be listed as a paid app. Also, they're preying on people who will forget or those who don't realize that you will automatically be charged after the 3-day period. Immediate uninstall.
Disgraceful app, especially for the price. Don't waste your time. False advertisement, the image shown in the advertisement isn't available to use as a filter. Couldn't find a single filter on this that can't be found on nearly every other photo editing app, including all the free ones like Snapchat. I was really excited to use the "superhero effect" after watching the short video ad while my other app was loading. To put it bluntly, that was a total disappointment. It looked as if it was a cheaply designed filter on top of my photo. $84 for a year after the trial version? I would've fought if it was $1 for the whole year. Go someplace else for a filter app!
So I tried the trial for a while and well everything this app claimed to have had was an absolute hoax. The comic feature doesn't do as it said (meaning no cartoon you) and the Emoji features is well pretty much useless, you can do the same on Instagram without paying nearly $100 a year. Best thing you can do is snag a few wallpapers before the trial ends and you cancel your subscription because truth is, the wallpapers are the only good thing on this app.
Absolute waste of time! Do not download This app has false advertising and when you download it you have to subscribe and they pray that you will forget to cancel the renewal after a 3 day free trial. Needless to say I cancelled the subscription before I started using it and I was right to do so. You can get the same features for free.
The app itself is a scam from the start. Firstly, it makes it so you CANNOT leave the app until you input your credit card information, or TURN OFF YOUR PHONE! Secondly, the pictures in the examples on the app's "Home Screen" Don't even look like they do if you buy/use the 3-free day trial. In conclusion, it's a waste of time, space, and most importantly, money... Would rate 0/5 if possible...
Upon opening the app, I was immediately greeted with a screen telling me to choose a subscription. Either $12.99/month or a 3 day trial which, after the trial ended, would charge you $83.99/yearly. If you make a free app, it should be free. If you expect people to pay, just make it a paid app. One of my fastest uninstalls to date.
Dont waste your time downloading this app. The only thing free that you can do is crop, filter and add emojis to your basic photo. Other than that you can do the comic stuff that is has after putting in all your card information for a 3 day free trial. After that itll charge you a ton of money until you cancel. Also it has nonstop ads to buy that pop up whenever you make one click. Super super annoying. Dont even download. Not to mention their programmed review replies on here. Everything is BS
$85 a year for an app with a few basic filters recolored countless times that can be found other places for free. Glad I cancelled my subscription before the trial ended. Save your money and get an app that's actually free with the same features. Edit: Developer response is proof they don't even read reviews as my complaint had nothing to do with optimization.
If anyone sees this review good. In the ads in Tik tok, it shows as an screen lock wallpaper plus plays an song that alerts people. At the same time it has overpriced subscription, plus you need to buy the overpriced tools. Misleading advertising plus amount of glitches that makes my phone as slow as two tortoise f***ing but very slow. I have a very powerful phone but this app doesn't hold it's expectations as others similar to it.
On the ad, the developers made it seem like a "free" photo editing app. To actually use the app, it's $13 dollars a month, or like $80 dollars for an entire year. I downloaded to try it out and I could only use the default settings which were really just the picture the way it was on your gallery. 0 stars if I could. Don't download it.
It's really hard to skip past the membership screen, had to both wait for an x and use the back button on my phone. Downloaded this to edit some photos, you aren't even given 1 option unless you pay or start the free trial. Without paying all you get access to is wallpapers and who needs an ap for that anyways. Other aps like this will at least give you a few options or let you try out the premium style with a watermark. Disappointed.
If I could rate this app 0 stars, I WOULD. I had read the reviews and saw how bad it was so I had installed it to see. As soon as I opened the app I saw how in bold letters it was trying to get me to sign up for a $12.99 monthly trial which is to expensive for just a month. The yearly payment totalled to around about $83 or $87. INSANE. The free trial looked way to short as it was a 3 day trial. Even so I clicked on it and I still had to "subscribe". AWFUL. I RECOMMEND, DO NOT INSTALL!!!
I don't often review apps, but warning potential users feels like the responsible thing to do here. On opening, you MUST choose a subscription plan to proceed (pricy for an art filter app), and they drop the subscribe button right on the Galaxy's home button. So you're likely to accidentally subscribe if you're just trying to back out. After closing the app, the app relaunched the subscription page without prompting, until I was able to uninstall.
Bait and switch. Saw this via an ad and it looked interesting and i was intrigued. Upon installing i saw the same thing that's caused everyone else to give this 1 star: a 3 day "free" trial then you are forced to purchase a membership. I could understand if they had both a free and premium versions but nothing worth having a membership for
Awful. You can pick one filter THAT YOU DON'T GET TO SAVE, then it ads, ads, ads. Every 5 seconds there's another one. An that's if you don't click on something! If you choose another filter, not only can you not even see what the filter may look like, but there is ANOTHER AD. These aren't the type of ads you can get rid of emediateley, you have to wait for 5 seconds, JUST TO GET BACK THE SCREEN THAT SHOWS YOU MORE FILTERS THAT YOU CANT USE BECAUSE IF YOU DO......ADS!!!! Infuriating!
I downloaded this app just to see if it was as terrible as everyone says it is but you cant even use a free version that has less features. Your only option is to subscribe to the pro version. It's too expensive for a filter app and they could have easily had a free version if they had ads like every other free app in existance.
I installed the app because of the obnoxious amount of ads, thinking it would be all they said it was. They claim that it gives a cartoon effect for 'free', when in fact everything that it does for free, I can do on my phone without an app. There is one free option from each section (which is not "most features" as they claim) and everything else is VIP, not even testable unless you use the trial. It immediately pressures you into purchasing VIP, by making it very difficult to choose otherwise,
