The presets are the only thing working. It shows two different temperatures when I open the app, it'll show thermostat at 74 and say current temp 73 when nothing had been changed. Then when I try to change something from the app it doesn't work. I go to the thermostat on the wall and it's at the preset. The app is worthless.

It doesn't control your thermostat. One phone might change it and then you decide to change the temp because you're burning up or freezing and it does nothing. I tried turning my heat down because I was hot 4 times and it woke me up. It was still running. And the app kept closing. I went to settings and it would instantly close each time. Then the box would close immediately that says OK or report. PLEASE FIX

I have 5 thermostats with the issue. I called conEd that my smartphone is not connecting with proper information for almost a week. They told me that they are STILL updating the server. Makes no sense to me This is dangerous when one needs air conditioning and has to constantly reset the thermostats manually. I set it at 78 permanently. I come back after 11:45 pm the temperature on the thermostats jump to 85. PERHAPS THIS IS ALSO A HONEYWELL ISSUE THE MANUFACTURER OF THE THERMOSTAT. Class action lawsuit.

This used to work with occasional crashes. Now it just "Unfortunately Stops" every time I try to open it. I have cleared the data and reinstalled to the same problem.

I called my electric company today and found out this app is no longer being used, so i suggest trying that. The one i am now using is total connect comfort. Good luck. **old message** When i had the thermostat installed and downloaded the app it worked great. Now all I get is an error message on the app and online. Does this mean you no longer support the device and therefore are scrapping the app? How are we, the customer suppose to change the daily settings?

We've updated out WiFi and I can't get into the setting to change my WiFi which means I can't use the app to change my settings and I can't find the website online to do it there either. The app is slow when trying to use it. The app needs some serious help.

One of the worst app I have used. App keeps crashing and I cannot unregister from opower/Comed, don't know what to do. I cannot control thermostat using phone so that's defects the purpose of WiFi thermostat

Crashes all the time. Currently I can not even open the app. When it does work it seems to get out of sync with the thermostat. Seen things like my home is 95 and cooling when in reality its 77 and off.

This app crashers too frequently. It also lacks some basic features... I just received a new phone running Marshmallow; the app no longer works at all.

The app keeps crashing and no matter what the thermostat and the app are not working together

The app is very basic and does trivial control functions only. It would be nice to have reporting and analytics feature to understand my consumption stata better.

I like the functionality, but it doesn't connect much of the time, and I have never been able to use the settings (little gear), as it crashes every time. This is on the latest Android 5.0 update.

Constantly tells me that the thermostat is set to off when it is not. Constantly shows the wrong room temp. Constantly stops responding and force closes. Happened with my Galaxy S3 And now with my One M9.

Doesn't save your settings, causing your house to constantly be at the wrong temp. This app might actually cost you money on your utility bills, watch it carefully.

When it worked it was great but it doesn't work consistently This defeats the purpose if you cannot rely on it. It is junk at this point. What it shows in the app rarely matches the thermostat. Good idea, poor execution.

The app worked well for several months but lately it has been totally unreliable.

It worked fairly decent on lollipop on my Nexus 5. Completely crashes upon launch in Marshmallow.

Worst app ever. I have not been able to communicate with my thermostat for 3 weeks

This app is great, love being able to adjust my thermostat wherever I happen to be!

App won't connect to server so I uninstalled and tried again. No luck. Why have a Wi-Fi thermostat that doesn't work properly? Please fix this problem

Jas. B. Oct 27, 2015

Would be great to see usage per day/month and needs a filter change reminder

Bil. H. Jan 12, 2016

I liked it and then all the sudden is tell me I need to upgrade my phone so now I have to take it off cuz I'm not upgrading my phone just for a thermostat

Constantly crashes can not open the app

ConEd uses a custom app that offers less functionality than the Honeywell interface. For example, in the non-ConEd version of this thermostat you can set the temperature for four periods each day. On weekends when we are away I keep it warmer in the winter because we are in and out but on weekdays I keep it cool because we are gone all day. Honeywell's system can handle it but this Opower system can't - I have to use the same temperature when I'm away every day of the week. Also, at night I like to cycl

I've been using this for a while. And while I like it the system could use a few updates: 1) Really needs to connect with Wink and other smart home controllers (i'm using the Coned version). 2) Faster launch 3) Would be nice to be able to better control the fan. So fan for 15 or 30 or 45 minutes of every hour and let me schedule it so it isn't running when I'm not home. Would be fairly easy to do....

Have used this for over a year, and though it has only really saved me about $20 compared to the previous year, I love the convenience of having the preset temps for home, away and sleep - plus controlling the temp while I'm away from home!
