This version of the app has been updated to include the new “Uncle Sam’s OPSEC” course (USOPSEC, v3), as well as policy updates, documents, videos, references, links and an improved overall look and feel. The app is divided into the following sections for ease of use:
-- Policy/Guidance: Includes Joint, DoD, Navy and Marine Corps Policies; Navy Tactics, Techniques and Procedures; Marine Corps Warfighting Publication; and handbooks.
-- Training: Features Uncle Sam’s OPSEC computer-based training, an instructor-led General Military Training presentation and ten supervisor led face-to-face scenarios, also known as vignettes. Uncle Sam’s OPSEC steps users through the OPSEC process, followed by five optional short modules specifically designed for personnel in Leadership, Planning, Acquisition, Public Affairs and OPSEC Program Manager positions.
-- Products: Includes training videos on a multitude of OPSEC topics, training briefs and posters to assist OPSEC program managers in educating their crews.
-- Assessments: Features information and resources to assist OPSEC program managers on how to conduct annual OPSEC assessments at their command. A step-by-step guide, briefing tools, assessment checklists and sample questionnaires are included.
-- Favorites/FAQs: Use this section to highlight parts of the app you find most valuable. The Frequently Asked Questions module addresses some of the most common and prevalent OPSEC issues affecting DoN personnel today, like spear phishing, social engineering and computer hacking.

i have downloaded deleted and downloaded this app atleast 4 times trying to get it to work just so i can do this US OPSEC course but it always freezes on the disclaimer page.
Horrible. Will not finish loafing on the disclaimer page. The app can't be used therefore the courses cannot be done. Please fix!
Just doesn't work. Loads the disclaimer page and that's it. Been waiting to get on to do my cert for 1hr and 16 minutes. Please fix this, devs

Can't load Uncle Sam's course, can only go to the main screen to load and begin course.
While I love to see Navy organizations trying to embrace technology, most of the apps, like this one, are poorly designed and executed. It doesn't do anything for you that you couldn't more easy do without it.
I think the Navy has been putting out great mobile apps, however this one is as big as E-divo, and seems to me more than may be needed for a GMT. Need to find middle ground. Many junior sailors may not be able to afford device or download costs for this vs. benefit. I.e Posters on a smartphone or tablet?
Uncle Sams opsec training does not work for Note 5 even with Adobe installed. On iTunes it will let you do the uncle Sam course but then after you enter your dod id number it freezes until you close the app. It's been stuck on "submitting" on my work phone for 2days now...
App never sent cert to my ETJ, so Training unable to add it into FLTMPS...SO, I have to do the course again. Or download the app again AND retake course. Sucks!!

I downloaded 150MB for a bunch of pdfs? Where's the course? I clicked all of the training links, but nothing like the nko that would give me credit for completion.
You need to have your certs on your mobile device to get past second step if launching the app. There is no skip button to access conten that doesn't require cert Would have been nice to know prior to spending the time to download. This also limits utility for family members .
