Opsu!(Beatmap player for Android)

Compared to other beatmap players on here, this is the best. But it has not been updated for over three years now, which is a bummer. Local leaderboards doesn't show up for songs under normal and above, it only shows up on the easy graded beatmaps. There are also error codes being shown on screen everytime the app is launched and after every game, at this point I just ignore them. A few fixes here and there and this app would have been great... I hope you update this again.

A great game with ads that don't get in the way. The game would be 5 stars with some server improvements and a way to customize the default circles, sliders, curser, background, and other images that appear while playing with a simple image import. Other than those minor things the game is amazing and if you are interested in a mobile osu I think this is the best option

With the 8/11/19 update, now everytime I open opsu there is an error. I always ignore it, cause if I didn't, I won't be able to even open the game. And also, bugs on the scores on some maps, they're not showing up. I thought my records got deleted, but I played the map again and no replay showed up after finishing the beatmap. Still tho, its a great open source for the pc game. Cause then I can play this everywhere I go. A few more updates with bug fixes would definitely do the trick. 👌

I've been playing this for nearly a year, and it's been great. Though I think you really need to improve the cursor delay when dragging. It's really off-putting since I play on my Galaxy Tab S with it's 10.5 inch screen. Some sliders also seem to trip up the game, regardless of length (many red anchors possibly?). It will also drop frames on every slider tick of certain sliders. These may be the limitations of what you developed this on, but if it is possible to work out these performance issues, that'd be great! Also, if it already doesn't, could you make the game take advantage of every core then device has to offer? Thanks for your time if you read this! :)

It's a very good alternative to osu! for those who want to play on mobile. There is, however, one issue. While I am able to top leaderboards on the easier difficulties, the possibility to do so ends at 3 stars, where the beats start going faster than the latency. After 4 stars, it becomes impossible to play. I do realize this is due to the poor sensitivity of my device (those stats were based on a gaming mouse I connected), but it's annoying enough to knock off half a star from my rating for it.

The game's great and all. But whenever I download something or type something at 'search' there's a certain repetitive bug that appears and covers the whole screen. It also freezes gameplay. The bug also appears to be unaffected by the report button. FYI I have been reporting this bug for a years now. Please fix it. I'm having a really hard time playing the game because of the bug or glitch.

Its pretty close to the osu pc experience in my opinion but there are some minor tweaks I would like to mention. For starters some of the default sound effects especially the sound when you get a note wrong are very loud, off-putting, and distracting or just downright weird. It would be better to have a sound effect that is more subtle but can still tell you that you missed a note when you hear it.

I quite literally only have two issues. 1. You cannot login to a pre-existing account, you can only create new ones. 2. (This may be just me, but..) I can no longer import beatmaps. They say they've downloaded, I hit "import" and they just dissapear. Other than those two things (which I hope will soon be rectified), this has an absolutely beautiful UI. A very nice translation of Osu to mobile. The sensitivity and cursor accuracy were on par and the graphics are nice and clean.

The game is surprisingly good, it's smooth and the porting is pretty smart buuuuut, It has a LOT of issues, first of all, the hit default sfx are very annoying, and thus, you are forced to play without them. The settings are pretty lackluster compared to the normal game. The navigation with your singer sometimes feels very clunky. Sorting by difficulty, and a few others are not there, for some reason. The pause screen gives a static image with no options, and that is if the pause button is there

I really love this game, most of the time it runs really well. Though the only problems I would run into is stuff going on in leaderboards and servers(mirror + mengsky don't work). For some reason there are maps that do not save your scores locally. And maybe it's just my game, but every score was apparently submitted in 1970 when I check the online leaderboards for every map? I also can't watch other people's replays. It's not major, but they're there. I hope this is fixed.

the game is quite fun to play, only problem that I have been consistently running into is the game not starting properly when the map is chosen. It seems to freeze and I would have to restart every single time, or if it does freeze it wouldn't let me play. If the problem is fixed or if there is a better solution, I will gladly give a higher rating! Thank you!

This actually works very well, may not be that good for phones that are a bit outdated but that's expected, I found one bug where you can't skip an intro to a song and it will just keep you in the background screen. To fix this all you have to do is restart, other than that it's very smooth, at least for my phone at 60fps but yeah it works very well, another thing you will have to use the official osu! beatmap page and download whatever map you want, then open the game and import the map. Simple

The game is great on both pc and mobile, except for the fact that mobile lags a bit which ticks me off to some extent as accuracy is needed to achieve maximum efficiency in this game. And since the game lags, you don't really get that, so I'm giving it 4 stars until the lag is fixed, if it ever gets fixed. I'm on Android LG 4, so I don't know if that makes a major difference. Overall the maps are great, and so are the levels, it's just the lag.

It's a great game, just like it's PC counterpart. Most certainly enjoyed playing it and had a blast playing through those beatmaps on one of my fav anime op/ed and other songs in genral. Though there were some bugs and the game crashes at times, but it does not happen very often and might be my phone's own problem. It usually happens when downloading maps and sometimes when playing any of the maps, the screen goes black. One can just restart or change the device. Thanks for this great game!

I've been playing this game for hundreds of hours over the course of ten months, and it's incredible. I was afraid the amazingness of osu! would be stuck on my laptop at home. When I looked for an Android version, expecting nothing, I found this and was immediately blown away by how much it granted my wishes, and it was still completely free. I'm stuck with a version from April 16, 2018, and I refuse to update, because it's honestly the best version. Latest has crashing and ads. 5/5 stars

This game is really good, I really like it and you can download cool songs. But I'm rating this 4 stars because theres too much bugs. I wanted to download a song but it has several errors, And I played a map but it glitched alot of times when i tried to play it. There's also ads but it wasn't annoying. I really reccomend the game for android users. Please also fix the bugs, Thank you.

So apparently a universal offset setting exists... It helped slightly when it came to the actual beat. However, could you please make the offset setting easier to use? If I try sliding my finger over it, it won't be as accurate. Try arrow buttons instead, it'll help the user sync the sound easier👌. Also, I keep getting this code at the startup of the game and when I finish a map. Please fix it soon.

I love to play osu, even though I'm not too good. This client is perfect for when I can't use my computer, but the ads are intrusive. Sometimes in the middle of the song it'll move to an ad and move directly back to gameplay. Other times, the beatmap starts right at the first note. Back to the ads though, why is this open-source client riddled with so many ads? I just want to click some circles man.

I really love this game and it should be five but, I couldn't get some beatmaps on Ripple that I badly want to have . It says "error from server, please get another beatmap", like what?! Also, the background videos delay at some point, hence I always need to hit the skip when I play Gimme Chocolate beatmap. And the auto bug reports are a bother! They always appear when I type on the Beatmap Search bar. I hope you can fix these. Regardless of it, this is the best music rhythm game I've played.

This game was nothing of what I expected it to be. I went into the game and I downloaded a song, comes to find out that I cant even play it! I did it with multiple maps and restarted the app multiple times and nothing. This literally wasted my time and it I ever come back to this app I better see some improvements. The concept is great but just fix the beat maps please, thank you!

1. No option to delete the profile 2. Video freezes after restart 3. Some of the scores are submitted across all difficulties at the same time. 4. Option menu controls are terrible - it is challenging not to accidentally switch something while scrolling it through. Edit: No updates since I posted the review, that has been 8 month already, too bad, there is always something to add or improve.

The game works really well especially on difficult charts for beatmaps, however I've run into a major problem with the app's downloader. It essentially made it impossible to download any maps from the servers provided. It is definitely something that is concerning as I really would like to play more as it's a really great port of osu! to mobile. Hopefully the developers can see where the problem is.

This game is probably the best beat/rhythm game as it has so many songs in it and it doesn't really use that much data or storage. The timing is also perfect with the beat. And the best thing is that I can play it offline after downloading the songs. Though , I only give 4 stars as some of my fav songs are not available in this game so I'm pretty down for that. I wanted to play that song so much.. And some of the songs only have hard level so i couldn't play it as it is too hard.

This is a great alternative to osu!droid. This game does everything better, but the game could be improved by adding a fixed CS/OD instead of having everything customizable. Most people are playing on phones and even the lowest CS is still pretty small. You should also allow multiple cursors on the screen instead of the cursor just keeping its position from the last touch.

Ok, I've playing this game for a while now for I can't carry my laptop around to play osu! And I've been enjoying this mobile version. However there are some issues: sometimes when I auto play or download some beat maps, the screen would just go black and I can't interact with it. The only way out is the home button and force stop. Then after awhile, something is gonna pop on my screen and show some errors and whatnot so I keep pressing "ignore & continue". Scores getting deleted and others.

First of all, Errors. As soon as you enter the game there's errors. Not sure what those are, but there are also problems in downloading the maps. Either stopping halfway, or it crashes the app. Third, scores sometimes doesn't save if you're offline. Fourth, some of the skins are missing. Like the hitcircle/sliders overlays not appearing in the game. Also in the selection menu for some reason the cursor automatically clicks resulting in wrong setting config. Overall the app has potential.

To be honest, I'm still new to beatmap games like this. But when I started playing this beatmap player, I really liked it. I can see that there are many beatmaps are available inside this app. Besides, the touch is also responsible and accurate. Unfortunately, some features available in the app are not working/unavailable. I think it's better to hide them since it has no effect at all. Overall, i like this app.

Playing with a stylus is the best experience you can have playing a rythm game on mobile. It supports skins, is completely playable offline, has an amazing beatmap downloader and supports the importing or previously downloaded ones and is pretty customizable. Unfortunately there's no way to eliminate ads unless you go offline. I'd be willing to shell out 10 bucks if I could get rid of the ads but luckily they aren't too intrusive and half the time don't load and boot you back to where you were.
