Optus Loop

Hard to find words to express how disapointing this app is. I need it to run in background to receive office calls. I keep on missing imprtant calls because Optus decided to force users to re-login into the app at random intervals. Even when it works and I get a call, more often than not, there is no option on the screen to answer the call. Very poor design and implementation.

when it works it works.. but that isn't often. Took forever to set up with constant calls to call centres (it's 2022 optus, seriously..) Like many I am now having the issue where the app has logged out and won't log in using a password I know is correct. The reset password link doesn't work. So I'm currently unable to make, receive or divert calls on the service I'm paying for. There is no online support and I can't even find a number on the website anymore. Increasingly frustrated..

If I could give it zero stars I would. Continually signs out at random times and doesn't accept passwords upon trying to sign in again. Call quality is horrendous no matter how good an internet connection is. We have had this solution for a few years with no improvements what so ever.

Saving my login would be enormously helpful on my phone that has access just shy of biometric scanning to access. Very clunky app for a big telco, I update the contacts names when they call, next day, all gone, just numbers. Not awesome

Edit: The app everyday ends the session and signs me and others out of the app meaning calls aren't received. The voicemail still doesn't work properly and the support has been terrible with little assistance other than uninstall/reinstall or record call logs/check online resources.

As with the others, update broke Optus Loop. Desk phone rings but Loop app has no response. Logs in the app show the missed call after... Called support and after uninstall/reinstall the app, it worked for a day but no longer works again even with uninstall/reinstall trick

This app was ok until last update... now it won't answer calls and that is the whole reason I downloaded this app. Works only when it wants to. Not good when you are trying to run a business! Please fix the bugs or undo what you done in the last update!

If i could give it no stars i would. Calls dont come through. Calls drop out. Despite being on 80mbps nbn line and connected callers have trouble hearing me. Worst experience ever. Sounds great but doesnt deliver. Will be moving to an alternative.

I can't use password manager with this app as doesn't support pasting into sign-on screen BUT expects password change every month. Users complain app doesn't ring or won't pop up on lock screen despite having all permissions.

Been a small business user for about 2 years. Was very glad we had this in place prior to, during and post COVID lockdowns 👍 It works just the way the brochures said it would. Wish our business support staff would not keep changing all the time. Our original guy got promoted. 🤔

Interface changed since the last update. Cannot even find the contacts and the support team will take very long time to respond

Ever since the new update, no phone calls come through. Even if I'm in the app it pops up with a missed call even though the line is still ringing.

Absolute disaster. The most unstable app known to man. If you don't like answering the phone it's great as the app barely works.

after last update app constantly logs me out and makes me miss calls doesnt even tell me it has logged me out please fix, in current state it is impossible to use for business

The concept is great. The service is bad.... And the line quality no matter how good your internet is terrible. Continuously dropping out customers not able to hear me or staff. An embarrassment to our business. DO NOT SIGN UP
