Orai - AI Communication Coach

The app concept is excellent. It showed me where my troubles are and gives me the opportunity to practice with feedback which i am more comfortable getting from an ai then from a person at this point. The reason i give 3 stars is that it still needs work. It keeps telling me my pace is either too slow or too fast regardless of words per minute. It would be nice to have live feedback on while i am recording to know when i am too slow or too fast so i can adjust accordingly in the same recording. Same with other information. It also needs a wider range of topics to choose from. Keep up the good work. I am sure a lot of people will benefit from this innovative idea.

Disappointing. The app looks great and the whole idea of it is brilliant. I'm stuck on the storytelling section, day 3 I think. I can't play the samples and it won't let me progress any further because the options are greyed out! I also couldn't rate my own performance, on day two I think that was. A real shame and I want this to work. Some help to get this going would be awesome. I got it going again, but now I'm stuck again! I will send a screenshot, thanks for getting in contact.

I have been using this app for a long time, and I love it! But now, I have a problem in continuing my lesson, I can't continue learning because I can't load some videos for matching speaker's expression with his or her message (day 3: first impression). I tried several times, I thought that was signal problem but when I checked my signal was good

Great app, great idea, and it works flawlessly, except that it misses to process the recordings sometimes and it gives you an error message after you've recorded everything and it needs to process it. it can be frustrating to repeat the recordings over and over again, Hopi g that next time it will work.

Great concept, but implementation is poor. There needs to be better quality control, if possible. Examples: -Analyzer tells me I'm speaking with too much energy, but next sentence tells me I'm monotone. -Analyzer tells me I speak too fast, but next sentence say I spoke especially slowly -STAR interview technique lesson is in the wrong order for the acronym . -I was forced into the "Workplace Presentations" course, and no way to change. -Clicking on the 'Play' arrow in the analyzer doesn't work

Genuinely an amazing app for improving and practicing public speaking. To my knowledge, you can't get far without a subscription, but the subscription, or at least the free trial, is amazingly worth it. The app gives clear and good examples of good public speaking (such as contrasting a terrible storyteller with a good one) along with giving you genuine useful tips to improve.

An interesting concept and definitely something I would like to test out. I understand there is a free trial however it requires payment details which will put some people off. I recommend giving one free analysis so someone can do a test run of their presentation. It would still require them to pay if they wanted further advice or to see their progress.

Like most people, it doesnt recognize your subscription and wont let you continue if it doesnt see that you are subscribed. I cannot use and dont even have access to the 7 day free trial. I have the monthly subscription. Edit: they fixed it. Would be nice if it didnt require us to contact support.

This was a fairly good, practical app and would surely have been a 4 star rating.....that is, until it stopped being free. It might have been an easier transition to make the free platform ad-driven with options to remove ads if paid. Not worth such a high subscription fee overall.

The UX/UI and pedagogical logic is really well done! I was surprised how good the AI could process my recordings and find the right "weaknesses" on my speech. Features are top, I just wished something related to pronunciation (for non-native speakers) and sentence structure if an AI could identify such thing, but I guess I would be asking too much. Well, I am excited to see how much I will improve practicing every day. Good job devs!

I am a paid subscriber. But I am not seeing the features that are advertised on the Orai website like - Instant Video Feedback, Facial Expression. Some website SSL certificate has expired too when navigating to the TOS. Also, suggest a feature where the App has sample standardized audio recordings against which we can listen and practice. Also, need to add any exercises(breathing , posture etc.) that we can do.

Paid for the annual subscription but cannot use at all. Support email is not helpful nor responsive. I want a refund. Please avoid this app.

Nothing works. Purchased a membership but can't access it. Contacted support but they cannot solve the issue.

Terrible. Doesn't work. It shows errors every time I try to record my voice. I paid the subscription and it still asks me to subscribe and doesn't allow me to use any feature.

I really like the Practice part of this app and I'm disappointed that a subscription is required now. The cost is way too high to be worth it. I'm seeing Orai responding to a lot of these reviews that the free trial allows access to the full library but it is not true. All content is locked until you complete a specific course which is designed to take five days to get through.

It is good..but as I spent some time on it so I found that it is having a problem of speech recognition..so sometimes the feedback it is giving is different from the exact feedback....and topics for practicing is very less in number..but if someone wants to practice through it by self chosen topics then it will be helpful....and I am keeping this app for that purpose.... anyways 3 stars will be enough..

Just downloaded this app and I can't even get pass the subscription page. There's courses that look interesting, but even after trying to sign up for a free trial, and getting the message that I already have signed up for a subscription, it won't let me through. Pretty buggy.

I have subscribed, but I can't actually use the app. It keeps taking me back to the 'free trial' link and then the subscription page. When I try to subscribe again, it tells me I have already purchased this product. But when I go back, I cant click on anything! Any help would be appreciated. EDIT; now I have been charged even though I was NOT able to use the app.

I'm not sure what has occured but lately I have been paying a £9 subscription and still camnot use the app. Everytime I click into continuing the course it says I need to pay for a subscription which I have been doing for the past 3 months, then I click restore and it says it has failed and that I need to contact orai. I have emailed them and no response regarding concerns over my account. Very dissapointed and cannot reccomend for reliability even if you are paying for the services.

The app is very useful, but terms such as "Pausing Score" are not defined (always 100% for me but I don't know what it means). Filler words are not counted properly and also clarity is not well defined. However, the app provides a great way to improve my speaking skills and is well worth it.

It's a waste of time and money. Tried to use it for a couple of weeks, paid $10, got nothing but frustration out of it. I uninstalled it because it would keep logging me out, complain about internet connection or die on start. Folks, your intent was good, but please QA your app before putting it on the store.

Excellent app for finding out one's flaws and eventually improve in English communication. Only one problem that I faced was that lengthy recordings exceeding 2 mins 30 secs would often result in error/analysis failure. Apart from that, it's a very nice concept.

Great app! I've been looking for a voice training app for a while now and this is perfect. It provides instant feedback and I can do a lot of practice while learning more about my voice. I hope more features and tips will be added soon. I'd be willing to pay for it if I see a progress while using it everyday for a longer period.

I subscribed to free trial, but when I try to use it, it says I must subscribe. When I try to subscribe again, it says I already subscribed, so the app is unusable. UPDATE: Support contacted me and fixed something in their end. The app is working now.

SCAM ALERT! This app is not free, if you want to use it you have to buy one of the exorbitantly priced packages. They offer one month free if you recommend it to 5 friends which I did but that doesn't work at all. So I bought the one month package and after a week was sure that it was a waste of money. As the second month started the app took out another month's money from my account. The customer service said they can't do anything about it and that I will have to close my credit card account.

I've been really enjoying my experience with Ori over the past couple weeks. it's improve my speech both public speaking and one-on-one conversations. I love adding it to my daily schedule and I can see it being a part of my routine for a long time. as long as they continue to update it I'm more than happy to pay for a membership. a big part of that is that you have access to a lot of the app without having to pay which is a huge benefit.

Hi I really love this app so much!!! I just have one problem I'm stuck in level 2 where I can't proceed. There is no option to move forward after two examples of recordings on how to introduce. Please could you check in that

Love this app! I really desire more features...like details as to why my scores are the way they are. I'd also like to scrub (stop/start) audio a certain spots, and also want it to stay open when I'm not holding the phone directly (like YouTube). 😊 Thanks!!

Great concept, but I'm getting a bug with the video recording lessons. It shows a dark circle and the video isn't analyzed after recording. Also some poor UI choices e.g. can't remove a phrase that's inserted in the conciseness module.
