Works well as a utility. Only feedback is minor. I live in a city that crosses state lines so lets say i want to book a class in one state one day and a class in the other state the next day (work and home are in different states) I have to go back, change the country, change the state... just takes a few extra steps. anything you could do to tighten the UI I would appreciate!
App is convenient to have for booking classes on the go, but has a few issues: 1. it's too easy to accidentally book a class - the book button is adjacent to the android back button (lower left) - this is a major issue when... 2. the system should allow no-consequence cancellations within a minute of booking, esp in cases where accidental button presses are done for classes within the 8hr cancellation window - the ergonomics of the app make costly mistakes too easy 3. the app does not show remaining sessions available; the website previously (earlier in 2019) displayed exact package purchases and what purchase each attended class was charged against, but as of now (end of June 2019) website lists a total of classes remaining
This app is only useful for your home studio. If you want to move around, you'll have to call every other studio to book a class even if you are an unlimited member with worldwide access. The app also doesn't show you any upcoming classes you have booked other than at your home studio. Given that the flexibility of OTF is one of its highlights, the app should support this feature. But as it is, its use is limited - please fix!
Works well if you can book a class in & a calendar reminder is added. Works extremely poorly when you are on the waitlist, no calendar integration to remind you are on the waitlist, no push notifications to say you've been added (you receive an email and for those who receive 100+ emails a day, it's a poor form of comms) & this causes a poor customer experience. You get charged for not attending a class because you didn't read the email, it's not in your calendar. Poor value for the customer!
This app is terrible. Apparently it hasn't been canceling my classes for me even though it looks like it processes, thus I keep getting charged for classes I didn't use and wasn't signed up for. Even going online and looking at my history didn't show some of my "late" cancels. OT needs to improve their technology/development. This app and the billing issues I've experienced because of it, is the main reason why I'm cancelling my membership. Too expensive to deal with this nonsense.
The app is unable to create calendar reminders even after giving it permission to do so. It does the job as far as booking the classes but that's pretty much it. I tried to reach out to the developer and the email address they have on file doesn't even exist.
App no longer allows me to book at multiple sites. I have a recurring premium subscription and can only book via the app at my home studio, which is near my office, but I occasionally attend classes closer to my home. I have to wait until my new month starts before I can book, so each month, I miss out on the first week of my eligibility because the classes are filled before I can book them. I could never see what I'd booked across studios without switching back and forth. Please fix.
bad navigation: back button is used to close...must use menu. does not auto update. have to uninstall and reinstall to get update which is needed to sign up for class without error. cannot view your schedule across centers which is needed as classes are often full, so you have to shop around to get a class. whoever is the product manager of this app: pls learn UX skills ♡
I liked it initially but now it will not sync booked appointments into my calendar. The app has access to my calendar and I even uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would help, but it did not. I am very disappointed
this new update isnt working. it doesnt seem to let me see just one studios schedule at a time. every time i change it to just my home studio, it resets and go back to showing all my favorites. also is there a way to book multiple classes on the new app? I couldn't find it before and now the app is too annoying to use. I just switched back to the old app to book my classes
This app is perfect for booking your OTF classes. Very easy to navigate and has never glitched and needed to close. The only problem I have is that it is unable to create the booked class as a event in google calendars.
Unlike what Orange Theory tells you when you try to book sessions beyond what's in your plan the app won't block or alert you and later they'll charge you extra. Also if you cancel a session there's no way to see the cancelled session on the app and later they tell you they were late cancellations and will charge you extra. So unless you have an unlimited plan, you need a parallel control of your session. They use this to upsell you. Be aware.
I love the new format, but my upcoming classes aren't showing up correctly. My next two classes are missing.. Instead I see the third class. Also, would love to see what place I am on the waiting instead of the total of people currently on the waitlist.
Pretty unreliable. Crashes and logs me out frequently. Drops me from classes. I have to call to do anything even moderately beyond basic app capabilities.
I am disappointed that this app can't sync with my android calendar. It also has formatting issues where the buttons dont fit on the screen and I cannot book the classes.
very clunky. does not let you easily switch to different studios in your area. even though i am elite member of ot, it keeps trying to charge me to make appointments. app makers for this should be fired.
New to OTF - I like the app. It really streamlines booking classes. Feature request: I am a Strava user, I'd like to have OTF workouts appear there too. Lots of services have partnered with Strava. Can you two play nice and make that happen?
unintuitive and clunky app that does the basics. you can register for a class, purchase additional class packages (not sure if you can cancel or renew memberships since i dont have one), and put yourself on a class waitlist. the app should provide your class stats, but that comes in an email. it is also buggy; does not provide any of the notifications it says you can get and the calendar feature never works.
