What an app! No words to describe how amusing it is! Only two suggestions: 1) It'd be greater to have a multi-platform version. 2) Could you add an option where you don't have to open each note to see what's in it? May a floating tip or when you click once at each tiny circle around the bigger ones to see each entry would be quicker to access any note. And when doubled-clicked, it'd open the options to edit, change color and etc.
An ideal app for mind-mapping. *The resolution of the exported pdf of the mind map is great, but the resolution of the exported image could be improved. * It would be great if you could add an option to add images to the mind maps. That would really serve the purpose of a mind-map, i.e, making note-taking visual-oriented. Best of luck.
Perfect!!! Very Perfect 😍😍😍 I am giving it a full grade due to its simplicity. I love apps like this. There are things that it may do better like having an online sync, a desktop and web version, and the ability to import and export to other apps. Overall though, my experience is smooth and I love it :)
Absolutely loving the concept, really helps with the chaotic mess that is my mind. A lot of big problems can be easily traced back to simple, solvable steps using the flowchart method. Wouldn't mind a bit of a more minimalistic face-lift for the UI, but what is there is already perfectly functional.
I love this app so much! It is perfect for any sort of mind mapping and unlike other mind maps that I have downloaded, this has unlimited space, which is perfect. I am so glad I stumbled across Orbit mind. The image option is a dream come true. I'd recommend this for everybody who needs it for any sort of writing or organizing!
Fantastic! A Mind Map for mobile with excellent export options for further work. Just as smartphone cameras have taken over SLRs, Orbit is poised to rule on mobile. What a breeze. Can you do the same as in a desktop mind mamager? Of course not! But it's in your pocket when the ideas surface. Brilliant!
Streamlined and slick. For my purposes it's absolutely perfect, though I can see why it could be a tad limiting for some. Only feature I'd ask for is night mode or the ability to change background color / image. And maybe the option to start on the last used map upon startup, as I usually just use the one and I close and open the app often, so triming down a step would make the flow even better. I'd gladly buy a version with those!
It's all you need, I love this app. It helps my mind greatly. ATTENTION DEVELOPER: HOWEVER, I lose my phone all the time, & would GREATLY appreciate some sort of in-app password protection, maybe an optional timeout interface where if you just opened the app or have left it alone for an optional allotted amount of time, the interface popping up and requiring a personal password. You don't need to do this to get your five stars, I'll change it soon regardless, just wanted your attention. :)
The app is amazing, creating a mindmap, drawing out ideas has never been easier, in my honest opinion. The UI is the best I've seen, simplistic, yet everything you need os there. The only feature I'm missing is a collaborate mode, where multiple users could edit one mindmap, but I guess you can't have it all.
A perfect 10 they could improve a bit with new features. but for what you need its perfect. what you want is debateable. my personal reason why this is so great. Is they let use folders much like google docs and other apps. I tend to use folders within folders its never ending. but after seeing a ted talk on mindmaps i realized thats what i need. so this app is my folders and mind maps now
Irresistable, while refining ideas. Very legible lay outing. Attuned to human semantics, cognizance. But something lacks. You can only explode (not exploring) the central theme with the app, since you cannot make crisscross pathways. Also, text formatting is inflexible. To wit, pressing "Enter" do not split lines with the nodes.
LOVE this app. Beautiful execution with it's simplicity, no hindrance of getting your thoughts down and organized. All I could ask for is the ability to raise or lower orbits of sections and their corresponding subsections, and this app would be one of the few that have reached total pefection. Thank you for this!
The best mind mapping app out there...BUT it'd be wonderful if it was possible to make an account so that your mind maps are saved when you change your phone. I hope you'll work on this, then I'll give 5 stars.
🆒️💯Great job has everything I need to figure out how to map and list with details of each one of the the different inventory products along with each ones details and color coding along with emojis makes it all the more organized and understandable thanks! Keep it up great job!
This app is simple in scope and has a clean, inuitive interface. It fits my needs perfectly - except it's missing cloud storage. If cloud storage ever gets implemented, Orbit Mind will be my first go to when planning projects. Until then, I have to settle with other mind mapping apps that are too feature heavy and clunky for my purposes.
Absolutely love this app! Reason: while I prefer to mind map by hand, this app allows a fast mobile optimsed (simple or cut-down) experience. I can quickly capture notes, thoughts, conversations, etc., on the move and then use these simple maps for review and expansion later.
Super Fast Simple App. I know it lacks features but I still gave it a five because of its speed. Having a way to backup, restore. Cloud sync. Some sort of web version etc. Would make me give an extra star. Great job devs and thanks for keeping it ad free.
A very nice app for storyboarding. Would love to see some features updated, like moving nodes around without having to cut and paste and a "quick enter" key command instead of a full edit menu when adding nodes. Otherwise, very clean looking and well done!
Without an option to backup or export (even exporting in native Orbit gives an error), most of the other features are rendered almost useless. If I can't guard against loss of my work then how can I invest the time in developing an elaborate map of my ideas :-/
I use Orbit Mind to keep ally thoughts in order. From project ideas, to daily to-do lists, to long term goals, it's all mapped out using this app. Simple to create maps and just as easy to edit them. It has really helped me make some order out of chaos.
I have been using this for months now (after months of trying all sorts of mind maps and techniques) and so far this is my absolute favorite! I love how you can export to pdf or other documents and can change the colors of the labels to see a better over view of your topics
Impressive. Mind maps on phones are a tricky thing and this is one of the best attempts I have seen. Your not going to manage a big project with this alone. But it does give you an opportunity to sketch out your ideas and get your points in order
Hi, I need help. The boxes don't show the whole text and even when I save it as pdf I get cut phrases and practically the app is unusable. Am I missing sth... a setting? Thank you. (Actually, I would give the app 5 stars were it not for this.... sad)
My search for a simple mind mapping tool ends here. A big thank you to the developers for keeping this application ad-free and enhancing the overall user-experience. The only reason I am giving this application a 4-star rating is because I really need them to allow us to backup the app data and stuff to either their own cloud or any other 3rd cloud-storage service providers (preferably Google Drive). Please do this and get the 5-stars you deserve! Thank you!
Really useful concept. I would potentially like the ability to view it as a lost instead of circles. Perhaps another functionality could be to have a check box on each element for marking a task complete. Good app.
This is all i need when it comes to mind mapping. Unlike others, this app has no limitations, you can create as many maps as you want without having to pay premium. I like the interface, I just wish there was a dark mode.
I really like this app...but can you guys add more feature like different types of fields or different shapes( circle, squares etc). Otherwise everything looks same except the colors the map has.I hope you guys take my opinion seriously and work on it.It would definitely become a top rated app over time.
excellent app. serves the purpose. the only thing is little annoying is the node cant be moved to different direction and while exporting the text inside the box show incompletely when the text is big. Rest all is great.
It's a very basic mind map tool, and for that it is good. For me, it's missing some core features. Nodes can't be minimized. There is no linking nodes. No dark theme. No icons or shapes for nodes. Limited layout control. No remote storage. And I dislike the permanent circle. I see the appeal, but I'd like the option to hide it. Has great potential, but missing too much.
