Fantastic for inventory management at my job. The export and cloud feature makes it great for maintaining my own master spreadsheets. However, the recent update to the scanning engine, while improving speed, appears to have partially broken scanning of data matrix barcodes. The app now fails to scan any 2D data matrix below a certain physical size, where in the previous version they scanned without issue. This necessitated rolling back to the version prior. Great app otherwise.
Great app but paying for subscription is worthless because photo field only accepts camera snapped photos. You can' upload your own photos or define custom photo url. Also app strictly forces logout and only 1 phone is permitted login. If you have just 1 staff, expect to pay for two users (you + staff phone).
I just need a simple program to record inspections. I am still playing with it but so far it's great.
Great app. Had to manipulate a few things for my use but it's easy to use and very customizable.
Been using this inventory app for some time now for managing my inventory for my job and it has been in valuable. Definitely recommend it.
Great application for multiple purposes. Can be used perfectly for performing retail audits. Very easy to use and provides efficient amount of fields to be completed for a certain barcode. Highly recommended.
Great app, you do need the paid version to really make the most of it, especially if you have large inventory. Unfortunately the whole reason we purchased was for stocktaking ability and that sadly is where it's really lacking. You can't scan with rolling counts, so each time you scan the same item you have to manually calculate and update totals. That's fine if you have a handful, but when you have literally thousands of units that's not feasible.
This app contains around 90% of the features that I need. Best one out there. The automatic GPS coordinates is a huge plus. Are there any plans to support pictures as fields? It doesn't have to store the picture in the export, just the picture name. In this way I can attach a picture to the record by automatically open the camera and take a picture when I touch on that field.
I hate to blast in here, but when I try to use the link to contact in the app, they don't actually do anything. The email doesn't have a send to filled in when clicked. Either way, I've built a sheet and even if I load random data, I'm unable to hit save or save and close on an entry. Both options do nothing, no error, the only option I can choose is cancel. It used to work great, now not so much
Great for my job but you need to fix an issue with the scanning side. When you click on + to open your fields, and then click on the barcode button the left side, it goes to your camera like normal. However, when you click on the back button (I'm on Galaxy Note 9), it doesn't go back to the fields at all. It goes back to the main list, deleting all the previous data you already added in.
Might be a good fit for a different purpose or different type of inventory?? My purpose was to create an inventory of all my media (movies, music, gaming, etc) by scanning just the UPC and having the info automatically ready to go into an Excel Spreadsheet. This was the best recommendation, per Google. Guess what the scan shows in the app? The UPC code and that's it.....so every piece of info still needs to be manually added. I am looking for a Timesaver and this app is not it for me.
Edit: Devs fixed this issue very fast. Now working like before. Thank you guys! Here is the old review: After being updated, it is now forced to use alphabetical order. Used to be able to add a custom item as a divider then scan continuously for those. Now it just auto-sorts them with no setting to go back to the original sorting method. No obvious way, at least.
This is the best mobile scanning app I have found. It is a powerful scanner that will scan through the vents on a MacBook Pro cover and still read the barcode. Another feature I like is the ability to send an email of your barcodes either inline in the email or via Excel spreadsheet. When sending your barcodes in the body of an email, it formats the spreadsheet with borders around all the cells. I find this a useful app for maintaining inventory. Thank you for your offering.
Outstanding in all respects. I love that you can add and edit the Fields. There are many useful options, including auto date/time entry, GPS, etc! Hits all of my requirements and is very slick in the process. Also, it's a robust app, with no crashes - yet (after about a thousand scans/ records.
Excellent.. Add some features on reference filles in different formats
I am a fieldtech who installs fiber optics residentially and commercially. Orca helps keep my inventory in order and makes it easy to assign inventory from my truck, to customer and more!
Super helpful app. The customizable furious and export to email option save me tons of time at work.
This is is good, however, one of the more more recent updates made it so that the numbers would be input in ascending order... If you guys could change it so that when you scan items, they go into the app in the order that you scanned them, or at least have the option to do so, that would be great!
Beware of this App Toe-mas (co-founder) This is a joke? Are you telling me that after a year of building my database your Three Stooges lost all my hard work? And the solution is that I was supposed to export my file before the update. News flash, this is not right and you think 3 months of free cloud service is sufficient compensation for over one year of data collection. I trusted your app to make backup copies so this doesn't happen. All your data should be in the cloud so this never happens
Once I put in 50 scans and tried to export the data an error message popped up stating I did not have permission to export data. Pleae contact the sheet owner. I am the sheet owner. Did it earlier in the day twice with same excel sheet and worked fine but I only had 20 scans in. What is going on and there a cap to the number of entries before it won't let you export.. Update - I can now export unlimited entries. But when I try to add another sheet - all the fields are grayed out...
Easy to use. U can costumise and set the fields and the lists u create. Helped me a lot in my work. I gave it 4 ๐ cuz in my modest opinion there r 2 mini down sides: 1- sometimes when I scan letters showin low case. I can export the list to excel and convert them to uppercase but if the app does the conversion it'd be better (maybe has it as an option in the settings) 2- it'll make my life way easier if I could delete multiple fields at at time instead of having to delete each field separately
It is a great app, unfortunately for a starting business with more than 50 items (free version), it is not cost effective to subscribe. Maybe down the road as the business becomes profitable we can give it a second look.
The scanner is so inaccurate. Recently, I scanned the same barcode 3 times and got 3 different results. I can't trust that it got the number right. The app does not even allow the camera to focus completely before reading a barcode.
Works well. If it recognized numbers in the camera as an option would be great too.
It's a great app clean looking and easy to use however, as a small business with 6 employees I would love to upgrade to where I can automatically sync data between device and Excel but the cost is out of reach, just my opinion can't speak for other small businesses
Really do the ease of my work. For the full satisfaction, incorporate QR Code with barcode while scanning. And need to improve scanning efficiency, it seems to too slow or not recogising the barcodes when capturing.
