Won't scan 😑 Update - I uninstalled and then re-downloaded and also updated this app and it still won't scan. I don't know what the problem is but it's really annoying. It's a lot of trouble to put in all those different numbers and letters to do it by hand. Sure wish the app worked on my phone which is an Android. So I can't change my rating yet but I sure would love to be able to. I'm taking away a star because before I was giving it the benefit of a doubt when I rated it with two stars. Bumr

I love the new updated Oregon Lottery app. It is more user friendly and they have added an envelope icon to receive personalized messages. They have also made scanning your non winning tickets into the second chance drawing much easier by eliminating the need to enter the 2nd chance code. The newest tickets only require you to scan the barcode and your immediately entered into the drawing. No need to keep all the losing tickets, as long as you are signed in with your profile. Saves so much time!

I love the app, it is easy to use and convinient when your on the go and don't have time to stop at a store to find out of you won! The only reason I am not giving 5 Stars is because sometimes the ticket scanner gives me problems or the app does not respond so I have to shut it down and wait awhile. But other than that thank you Oregon Lottery for this nifty app!!!!

User friendly. Little room for error, one exception is the Year of Birth. It wouldn't let me enter legal year, getting stuck on the default 1999. Was able to correct when on the initial verification page. All good now. Thank You

I think it's great how you have the amount of time and the amount of money documented for your own records. Also I believe that having a timer handy is great as well. . It helps to keep me focused on the rest of my day. Instead of how much money I spent or how late I might be. also i like the way when you scan for second chance how it automatically takes it and adds it to your personal list of past games .the flash is great to have as well I guess what I'm saying i highly recommend this app

Please take a look at Washington's lottery app. It is so much easier to find info on their app. For instance, I can look at their app and within seconds I know what the cash option is on each different Lotto type. Yours, I have to search for it or cannot find it.

Love this app! It's user friendly and full of all the info you could need. My fave part of this app is how it tells you how much a winning ticket is and even better, it informs you of whether the ticket has been paid out yet or not. Love the app improvement that allows you to simply scan and be entered and skips the additional step of having to actually enter the 2nd chance code itself. Thank you Oregon 2nd chance lottery app creators for making such a great app for Oregonian lottery players!

"I love it" but I think you should be able to scan tickets all hours and enter into second chance as well. I understand no pay outs but scans and entering come on lotto whats the deal? I'm editing this review to say thank you for the explanation on why you can't use the system 24/7 I was shocked to get an actual response. I applaud you. Keep up the good work.

Pretty good for the most part except that entering the second chance drawing it should be set up to where the keyboard would allow you to type letters and numbers on the same keyboard instead of having to hit a button to go from numbers to letters every time or they could just put all letters or all numbers to enter the second chance drawing but I assume eventually they will get rid of having to manually type numbers and letters in since they've started to do so on some of the scratches.

Terrible. Unresponsive app. Extremely difficult to sign up for second chance drawings. I just want to scan my ticket. Not give you all my personal information. And have the app freeze halfway through. I never leave reviews but this experience was so frustrating I wanted to save others the trouble of downloading

I think we be able to win something from this so called 2nd chance entering, because I buy a lot of these Oregon lottery tickets, my friend was entering my tickets, until I downloaded the app on my phone, I can't believe after all the tickets I have entered not one of them won the 2nd chance,anyway its hard to rate at this point.

This app is easy to use, it's all very basic and if you want enjoy lottery then download the app. This app could be more efficient and environmentally friendly by linking to a debit or credit card and receiving direct deposit, a text or email to let you know the money is deposited would be great.

Very convenient way to check your "scratching" work. Plus, I love that you get entered into the "second chance lottery" when youscan your tickets. Very cool in my opinion. A must have if you play. Oh yeah, and I've never experienced any sort of problem with this app either. Amazing right?

This is not cool I just tried to get the scanner to work on this app, and I also have made a report on my own email to see why I can't seem to get the scanner to work. This app isn't working well and I am uninstalling it too

The link to "Terms and Conditions" takes you to a blank page. The privacy policy worked fine. I know most people are to lazy to read what they agree to, but I am not most people. If this is fixed then I'll come back and up my rating. Everything else seemed to function as intended up to that point. Thanks In response to reply, it was during the initial registration, tried it 3 times to make sure it wasn't on my end.

Great App.. In response to people having problems focusing the camera on the barcode, what works for me is: Tap the "Flash on" button while aiming at the barcode and it will come into focus. You can immediately turn the Flash back off after it Focuses in case there is a glare...

Overall I love this app.. but for some reason and I Don't know why and I have tried everything to fix but it still just will not freaking work and hasn't for months now!!! But I can not seem to figure out how to make it work!!! Please help me!!! That's like the main reason to use it!!!

Overall, the app is good except when I want to enter a contest etc. It just keeps reloading, never submitting my entry

I can check my numbers online without giving my email address and personal information but I can't scan with the app unless I give my personal information. Saying the app requires the info for age validation is erroneous since I don't need to give it to check online or even scan a ticket in the grocery store. I delete all apps that require me to use a login to use the app so this one is coming off my phone too.

I don't know what's going on with Google anymore because half your apps don't work anymore. Way too many commercials on them and your lottery app it worked twice for me then it quit working and now I can get to load on my phone I'll be coming to be really disappointed with the Google Play store

3/25/22 Scanner is very tempremental, first scan okay, but slow and sluggish for a second scan. I just kept closing and scanning one ticket at a time. Waste of time

I trust this app but it did misread 2 keno tickets said they were losers but they were worth $5 dollars apiece. That was out of thousands of tickets but what if it was a big winner

I hate that I can't rate this app 5 stars! It was so convenient being able to scan my crosswords and it kept track of all my wins and losses but now I'm not sure what happened but I'm lucky if it scans at all and that's if I can keep the app open long enough to get to the scanner. It stops working 5-8 times in a row, it's ridiculous. I've logged out and back in, I've deleted and re-downloaded it but none of those things helped. Hopefully this issue gets fixed soon!

Terrible! The scan function for the "second chance" drawing doesn't work. I've scanned several tickets and it says there was an error every time. And when i try to contact the app developer, I'm rerouted to a page to cjangr my password. VERY frustrating. UPDATE........They fixed it and it works perfect now. Rate 5 stars now. This is SO much better than having to hold on to the tickets until i get back to a store to scan them. Very convenient. 👍

Complete trash, but good concept. I cant tell you have many times I've downloaded and re-download this app because "make sure you are connected to a network" or the scanner doesn't work. How am I supposed to use anything on the app, WHEN IT DOESNT LOAD?? It great the first time I used it and it worked, but since then its done nothing but annoy me because of the bugs.

The scanner in this app is terrible, I don't think I've come across one yet that is this slow and poor at recognizing that there is even a bar code presented to it plainly and clearly in its direct field of view. I've had barcode apps that some how perfectly recognize a blurry image that's blazed across its FOV at hundreds of miles per hour, yet they're precise, this is not one of those. Disappointing to say the least, glad i didn't have to buy the app in order to use it (when it does finally).

1/9/21 Updated version from 3 to 4 stars. Auto entry to 2nd chance, great. For 5 stars, you need an option with "scan" to manually enter tickets, not all barcodes are readable. And, have "scan" available 24hrs a day. Still much better than before. At first I thought the app was great. Very convenient to scan your own tickets. Most of the time it works. Too bad it isn't 100% reliable. Multiple times scanning errors occured. Frustrating.

Awesome 80% of the time! It will not let me scan more than one or two tickets at a time without having to go back to home page, hit scan again and start all over. If I try to scan one ticket after another then the app justs sits in limbo like it is trying but never finished the scan but if I just go back to home in-between every ticket then it works pretty well. After I scan about 19 or so tickets then sometimes I have to go completely out of app and start over. 😁

The slowest app I have ever used and the bar code scanner does not work at all. A complete waste of time. EDIT - after the response from the developer, tried the app again and found that the scanner now works but you cannot enter the second chance drawing after entering the 5 digit code when prompted. EDIT #2 - Yes, I checked the box that indicates I'm in Oregon. Then click to submit, and...nothing. Am I supposed to just keep trying it again and again and again and again until it finally works?
