Fantastic banking app other than some of the drop down menus were confusing to see that they were indeed drop down menus, to me it wasn't so obvious they looked more like static images rather than something I can press and change. I had to call the bank to figure out how to transfer money in between my own accounts! Lol. Other than that great app

The verification of my identity is super confusing. I get a text and it's not clear that I'm supposed to text back in that same window. It is completely unexpected and so different from how it was before. Maybe it's because it's what I'm used to, but I liked getting my pen and going back in the app and entering it and pressing continue. It is much less confusing that way. I really don't like it! Other than that, the actual deposit experience is fine.

I have two separate credit unions who use the same app (nearly) Depositing a check works roughly 10% of the time (if you have patience) There's a user error that pops up repeatedly, and if you have the time, eventually you can get passed it. If I didn't live in the boonies, I wouldn't use it at all. Absolute trash.

The app is fairly straight forward. The Check Deposit feature isn't great; it's not very clear what the issue is when it won't take the pictures of the check. It also takes an incredibly long time for the money to be deposited into an account. Transfers from secondary accounts (Venmo, PayPal, etc.) also take a long time to show up/drop to the account. Other than that, the app works fine. UPDATE: since the last few updates, the app has been working a lot better. 👌

COMPLETELY dysfunctional. App account verification is completely Bass-Ackwards & ultimately just doesn't work. Instead of sending you a code via text or email to enter in the app (a procedure OSCU itself uses to account-verify on their website!), it makes you leave the app and TEXT via Reply a code they've just sent. Then you're supposed to go back to the app and... wait for something to happen. WHICH NEVER DOES. OSCU was outright uninterested in ever resolving this issue when I phoned about it.

The app is good except for the check deposit feature. It changes every 2 weeks, and it always seems to not have been test ran. It usually takes me 2-3 tried for a check to go through, which is upwards of a week. That feature is incredibly frustrating to use.

It took multiple pictures of my check before allowing the deposit to go through. In examining the rejected pics, ALL were crisp, clear, and centered, NOT ILLEGIBLE. This is the second time I've tried using this service, and the first time took two tries, and one of the two checks took 2 days to post. Not happy with the results.

Love the app and love my local Credit Union. I took one star off for an annoying bug: while depositing checks the app makes a camera shutter sound that plays at MAX VOLUME regardless of your system settings (volume off, DnD on, notifications on silent, etc ). I've emailed customer service and been told that they would look into it but it's been a few months with no fix. UPDATE 5/17/21: camera shutter noise issue has been fixed finally! 5 stars 👍🏻

Many errors and impossible to deposit checks, locks up when it goes to take a picture. They can't help when you call and refer you to use the app to complain, but when you sent the messages they apparently never get them. Then they email you which you cannot reply to that they are closing your complaint. Totally unacceptable app program and inadequate customer service.

I live in a State that has no Oregon State Branches. I can make deposits at other credit unions and the money will be posted to my account in a few days. This app speeds up the deposit process and saves a lot of time. When I moved from Oregon, I did not want to change Credit Unions due to the service I have received and my direct deposits are with Oregon State. The convenience is great.

Mobele check deposit is terrible. They use about 20% of the screen to look at the image of the check you've taken. You are unable zoom in and they say you have to be able to read the numbers in the image. Why use 20% of the screen? The rest of the screen is just black wasted space. Thankfully I have only had to do it a few times ever.

Some standard technical issues sometimes (couldn't verify account on my new phone during an update had to call bank for access pin. And has had problems with mobile deposits, but only when taking the picture) other then that works great has everything I need and aside from that just love the bank itself. Literally had an account there since I was 12.

Tends to be slow, photos aren't easy to take (several retakes are usually required), doesn't have a thumbprint option, when I first go to take a photo, the preset orientation is all messed up. They definitely have some bugs to work out

Heads up to developers there is currently a bug where a good portion of the time when attempting to view transaction history in accounts no data is loaded. Multiple logins and app closures are required to fix.

Works pretty well. BUT...I'd like the ability to delete payees that I don't use anymore. I'd also like to be able to SEE the address & full account # I've entered for a payee & be able to edit/update it instead of having to make a NEW payee when things like account #s have been changed.

Easily check balances and transfer to multiple checking accounts for free! I have 4 checkings accounts I use for paying bills, investments, bills and debt payments they are all free and connected to the app. Transfering between accounts is instant and a breeze.

Love this app!! I recently moved to lane county where there aren't any branches and I was just able to deposit a check through the app which saved me a lot of time and waiting a day or two. Have always been pleased with app, love being able to check my balances quickly and conveniently.

Nice to be able to deposit remotely. But it has some quirks: if your phone is turned sideways (landscape) when you click "Front", it tries to take a small, pillar-boxed image; website says to write "for mobile deposit" but app says to write "for mobile deposit only"; app doesn't recognize "for mobile deposit" if descenders from signature touch it even slightly.

frustrating app. image capture is not very good. i usually have to take multiple images because the the decides it is poor quality. also, the organization if the rabs is poorly designed. the most commonly used tabs fir mobile banking are not at the top, snd the labels used for each tab are seemingly overlapping and therefore call confusing.

You pretty much have to have a photo shoot with professional lighting to get a check deposited using the app. My photos are well lit and not blurry, about 80% of the time the app will not be able to use the photo for one reason or another. I Never have a problem using Bank of America's app to make mobile deposits.

Remote check deposit is improving. It's a good app, there are parts of the app that make security sense and that takes precedence over ease of use. (I.e. fingerprint scan lockout and need to be reset after 3 failed attemps)

So far its good and fast enough response on transfers but when you have the Mobile app is cool . Don't have to go to the bank to make a deposit to accounts . But the problem is I use the on line banking mobile app is where I live you have to drive to make a deposit or cash a check . Would be almost 60 miles round trip . So being a new member of my OSCU. It won't let you use the mobile check deposit . If you are a new member . Until or 30 day probation is up

So far I have transferred funds between 5 accounts! I can use the app any time day or night...I love it!! 6months later... Still loving it!!...Okay, it's been over 1.5 years and I do love this app. So far, it has done everything it says it does, that I have used (there are some options I have no use for, so I can't vouch for those).

Wonderful! The only thing I would add to this app is a calculator. Currently, if I want to calculate numbers when I'm using the OSCU app, I use a separate calculator app that I've installed on my phone. It would be even more convenient if there were a calculator included within the OSCU app itself.

Most of the time is good but when things go down, I not able to see my account. Also limiting us to 6 tranfers, there are some months I have go to the bank get things done. I puy my check in savings and tranfer when I need to pay for a bill online or to purchase an item with my card.

Makes banking easier than ever! With the ability to make transfers, deposit checks, and pay bills from the app you will rarely have to go into the bank. One of the most helpful apps on my phone.

When verifying your phone using a text/call, there's a bug where the app restarts when you switch to your messaging/phone app. Using the text quick reply feature can solve this. Otherwise, good app.

I can't just pay the Visa without first deposting in the checking account first. Then, I have to wait several days for my check to clear, then I have to move it to the Visa. It's an extra step that ties up my money way to long. I don't like that things aren't as real time as they could be. Selc has a much better app. You might look at what they are doing.

The check deposit feature was able to tell I'd accidentally entered the deposit amount as $20 less than what was handwritten on the check I'd submitted front and back pics of and it asked if that's really what I meant to enter. Thanks OSCU!
