Oregon Tech (Klamath Falls)

Was a decent app for android, had a social feed and useful tools on the main menu. disappointed that most features have been scraped for a bog standard calendar app that doesn't really incoporate due dates for assignments (outside manual entries). it would be better to revert to the previous version, or at least reinstate previous features like campus map, campus security quick links, campus info, blackboard shortcut. android version is leagues behind previous and IOS version at this point.

Latest version of the app crashes before it can even open everytime I try to open it. The mandatory update has rendered it unusable. UPDATE: I had to delete and then reinstall the app. It works now.

Confusing UI, not a lot of utility. The forum is moderated very aggressively. Integration with Canvas is slow and lackluster. The forum is worth it though if you're attending the school

Very useful for quickly checking class schedule, and the message boards help to keep up with on campus events and reach out for assistance.

This app has been my life line for checking my school email, seeing announcements, and having a way to quickly glance at my school schedule and what rooms classes are in. It has been incredibly helpful and I dont have any complaints.

You have to sing in like 30 times to get to one page and if you accidentally back completely out of the section you were on which is easy, youbhave to repeat the process

Works, but I miss the previous format. It looks too much like Facebook, which is rather annoying and blocky to read.

Map doesn't have True North orientation. Cannot change from portrait to landscape in Blackboard. This makes viewing anything in Blackboard essentially useless. Need to log into myOIT every time. No way that I can see to save username and password. Is there a way to use the school email directly from the app? If so, is it as user-friendly as Gmail? I find the calender somewhat handy, but there isn't a way to change the color of classes or to set priority to reminders. There was a mistake in my schedule and I haven't been able to delete the mistake from my schedule. Doesn't support auto caps at the beginning of sentences. Conversations in the inbuilt messaging don't show the other person's name. This won't be as much of a problem later in the term, but for now it's an issue as I am meeting dozens of new people. It also doesn't have a group messaging capability so get the numbers of your lab partners. Also, one cannot delete a conversation completely.

Inertial it is very useful but they're are some issues with the messaging feature.

Great for knowing what's up on campus. Helped me find a new calculator the first day I had it! Great work. The future is nifty! >^.^<

The back button should take you to the previous page, not exit the app. But other than a few weird design choices like that the app is good. Also it should remember your MyOIT login like chrome.

I had no idea there were so many discounts in town for OIT students.
