As others have noted the interface is poor. The station list is white text on alternating light grey (almost readable) & white background (invisible). The settings page is white text on white background. If you change your phone to "high contrast fonts" it'll fix that. Then restart the app to get data back. There is no key or instructions. Note: The flag button toggles wind direction. The data itself seems ok. But I hope nobody paid to make this app.🙄

When it works, it gives me the info I want and need. Unfortunately it freezes often, and then I get the not responding. The interface has some issues with gray on white or white on white text. But the station overview is easy to tell... When it works.

App is simple and helpful, but contains various small errors if one looks deeply. Either the report from Bend of barometric pressure has not been converted from mm to inches, or it is currently located several hundred feet underwater. Still, wonderful thing to know is there for the next fires.

Literally won't boot at all. Freezes up my entire display. It looks like it would be a really great app, and being in the middle of salem I could sure use it right about now. Have uninstalled and redownloaded twice just in case. No dice.

Edit: tried reinstalling since it had been updated, but sensor data still doesn't update. It shows data from 08/10/2020 and all of the sensors are greyed out instead of the color of what the aqi is. No longer updating aqi. For accurate information, install the epa air now app.

Very useful! It makes it a lot more real to actually see the stats. And when you see stats and can associate those stats to if you had tough night and trouble breathing... begins to help make more sense. At least it did for me. Especially since I have the "3rd worse case of apnea I've even seen. Not sure how you are still alive since you never had been treated before." When your doctor says that... it's quite sobering.

This app isn't designed for Dark mode. All of the text color issues people report are "fixed" when the device isn't in dark mode. This is a common feature but it isn't supported.

The info seems more pinpointed and up to date than Airnow.gov, but the station list and the settings are virtually unreadable. Works for my needs, but less than stellar.

This app says everything is fine and there are no alerts yet we are having emergency alerts on every device for so much smoke you can hardly see. The air outside is so bad I cannot even open the door and the air inside is burning my eyes.

Worked for me right away and appears to have air quality data very similar to the Oregon DEQ website. The more you zoom into the app's map view, the more data points you can see.

The app is constantly "updated" but always has the same bugs that sometimes require a force stop or freeze up android. It could be a wonderful app but is mostly useless.

I was hoping this would display current smoke haze areas, give info on any wildfires, or more. There are just a few random "bubbles" to click on showing air quality levels at those random stations. No further info given.

Sept. 2020 - Don't update app. App won't work. Opens and then freezes. No usable info on display. Had to uninstall and redownload. 😓

The app works great, but the sites / readings are not updated hourly. Maybe/hopefully that was the fix in today's update (9/23/2020).

Settings does not work. Map works, which I guess is the point. But I would rather use the EPA's AirNow app.

On the rare occasion it works, the data you need most is obscured by the text and headers. Terrible app.

This App is broken. Settings page doesn't work. Lots of air quality stations are missing.

Want to like it but it is very hard to see the light colored fonts. Needs some fine tuning and I think it will be great.

Terrible app. What options it has don't work, and there aren't a lot of options. You can't even set the temperature to Farenheit.

Critical for lung health - been using DEQ data for years to assess summer air for asthmatic kids and this year was crucial info for my decisions on activities/approach to their care. I am so grateful to have access to this data to maintain their lungs and hearts for the future. Thank you DEQ!

It was helpful to know when air quality improved in my area and surrounding areas so I knew when and where travel was safest.

OregonAIR is the fastest and most reliable measure of air quality. I turn to it frequently in the day for our safety.

Sky. N. Sep 8, 2020

No dice. I was hoping for updates on air quality with the wildfires, but the app just spun at the starting splash.

Useful, but the widgets don't work — they never populate with any info.
