Sent my sample in June. The app is fantastic and updated me when they received it and when they were processing it. We are now in October and haven't had my results or any communication. Really is a terrible company and business model. Makes me wonder if they are lying about our data protection too. Update: 2022/01 still no results or communication...2 years! What a joke!

Would give this zero stars if I could!! Bought 2 different tests at the end of 2019. Received a message in my app that my samples had been received in early 2020. End of 2021 contacted asking about results and was told things were behind schedule due to the pandemic. It is now 2022, still no results AND now the app is no longer showing that my samples were received. Spent nearly $300 dollars on tests. Sent ANOTHER inquiry via email yesterday...doubting I'll get a response.

The app wont even let me register, like really?!?! Update: so after much frustration & double checking everything it was that the app doesn't like special characters in the pw. It didn't tell me that though it just kept telling me that my pw needed to be 8 characters long with a #, which mine was. That error code should be updated to properly reflect the accurate issue.

Can't download the app and customer service is useless. I bought this when I first started zoom last year. I have sent multiple emails to customer service to the point they just stopped replying. There was no help given when I said I couldn't download the app so what else can be done since I bought the DNA test kit. I still have it, covered it dust because I don't know what to do with it. Complete waste of money.

So far really good. They have been giving me updates in the app. They receive it, they are processing it. So maybe they updated and improved their app? Going very well so far. Many reviews said it took a long time for results but I am happy with the text updates they are sending. So far 5 stars. My results just came so probably about 1 1/2 months, maybe 2 months. I like the app, results will come longer than expected (I realized that from other reviews, so I didn't mind, good updates on app)

I sent this kit out Nov 2020. It's April 2021 and I've still NOT RECEIVED MY RESULTS. It's been 24 weeks. This is a joke. I purchased when I started Noom to help me with weight loss but since I've never gotten results, it's been a total waste of money. They let me know they got my sample and I haven't heard a thing back since. Don't bother wasting your money!

Was told my results would be available in 6 weeks. It's been 4 months. I've emailed customer service twice and no one responds. When I call, there isn't anyone to help - just a voice recorder. Really frustrating since I paid for this kit.

I was going to give this app a straight-up bad rating, but then I realized that the app is the only thing about Orig3n that seems reliable. You pay your money, download the app, send in your swab, and then you get a series of text messages to let you know the status. Finally it gets to the actual test stage, and then... silence. But that's not the app's fault. The other thing I don't like is that it wants me to re-login. It's inconvenient, and I shouldn't have to. My whole phone is password protected, so there is no benefit to password-protect the app.

I downloaded this app for my Noom subscription back in June, and I still don't have my results. I lost weight without any supposed insight into my DNA's impact on weight loss by just following the Noom program. This app has been telling me I would have results 6-8 weeks after the lab received my sample. It's been 15 weeks and still nothing. I can't imagine buying kits directly from them will give you a better experience. Not worth giving them any of your money. I wish I could get a refund.

I sent my swab in months ago and never received any results. I downloaded the app on my phone (which is required and they don't tell you that when you order the test btw) and all it shows is the registration profile and different tests one can purchase. I tried to contact someone through noom and no response. Just flushed 100 bucks down the toilet, what a scam. Save your money and be sure to warn your friends and acquaintances! I'm going to check with the BBB to see if they've been notified.

The app was pretty self explanatory and simple sending sample. I'm unsure what these bad reviews are describing other than consumer confusion. When the Orig3n lab receives your sample, you are notified it's not lost in the mail and in process of whatever they do. Clicking on the particular test in app, displays "your results will be available about 4 weeks after receiving your sample". it's been 5 weeks now and nothing. submitted a ticket and no response. Since purchase, so far 2 month process

I have been waiting six months for my results. I have sent emails to ask "Why?", of course, but their web site warns you not to send a second enquiry: if you ask a second time it sends your request to the end of the line. But after waiting for more than a month for a reply, I had to try again. Anyway, Orig3n is a great service if you don't want to be burdened by any kind of final product. But the app is kind of pretty.

I got my kit and downloaded the app and they sent me a temporary password but it won't except it because everytime I open the app to put the temporary password in they automatically send me another temporary password. Also they give you no information on how to get a hold of someone to resolve the problem.

My stars would be 0!!! I gave them my swab in April 2020. I was doing Noom and thought it would help. I'm still waiting and its now November. I try to get into this app and they want you to scan a finger...I have tried many times but they say error. Now they won't even let me in....such a waste of money!!!!

Do not buy these tests! My results took 11 weeks from when they received them. I tried to contact the company twice and didn't get a response for weeks. Even once they analyzed the results, they didn't get all the genes they tested for. So the profile is incomplete and the profile doesn't really tell you much anyways. The product is way over priced for what you get. Save yourself the trouble. The app itself works fine. No complaints with it. It's not fancy but it's practical.

App no longer loads. Upon opening receive a screen that states "User has logged out," however due to the load screen circle, that some have called buffering, I am unable to click OK and re-log in. Hoping this is fixed soon.

In March I downloaded this app & paid for the test. I received my swab & sent it back. I got an email from them on April 15th saying they got it & they are processing it. I emailed them on June 21st (3 months later) asking about the results. They emailed back & said they are still processing it. It is now October 3rd & I haven't heard a thing. Even at this point if I did receive results, I wouldn't trust them not to have made something up just to appease me. They stole $149 from me.

Do not bother purchasing a test through Noom. I've been waiting over 5 months for results. Can't reach anyone to request a refund and cancel. No longer using Noom that's a waste also. Lose It app works much better and a lot cheaper. Don't get sucked in. Run away as fast as you can.

This app defaults to request a fingerprint and does not work. I have installed and deleted multilple times and it still the same. I tried researching the company online and can't find any contact info. Very frustrating!

If I could give this app and company a minus double zero stars. I sent my sample in December 2020, received an email they had my sample but no results as of February 28, 2021. I can not find any information for customers number or email. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing it. I like to request my money back.

Took 4+ months to get my results. However the results were quite helpful to me. I still would have used the product had I been aware of the wait time, but it would have been nice to know about it going in. So be ready to wait, but I'd still recommend at least the nutrition test.

I downloaded the app on my phone, scanned the barcode on the swap tub. The app shows I registered the barcode but I can't access the test results! Where do I go to access my information? I can not find anywhere to contact the app to help. I would give this a big fat zero if I could. What a waste of $50.00

This app is very straight forward. Download. Fill out your basic info. Scan the swab and mail it off. Can't get easier than that. The other products they list are the other types of tests that you can buy. Can buy. They do not force these products on you to buy them. It's your choice if you want to or not. Yes they are expensive but so is going to the doctor and and paying for a specialty test.

Horrible!!! Did the Noom test in May to see what my strengths and weaknesses were. Recieved incomplete results in JULY ( 9 weeks later) and when asked if results would be finished the only reply back was "they will be soon". When asked what "soon" ment on October 6- have not recieved a reply back or results. The orginal request for an update on July 16 didn't get a reply until September 9.

**update, it's been 7 months and I still have only received a partial report.** I purchased this through noom to go with their 16 week program. It took about 2 weeks for them to get it to me then another week in transit before they told me that they had recieved it. At this point it's been over 10 weeks since they received my sample and I haven't gotten any results. My noom program (16 weeks) is almost over so this was an absolute waste of money!
