I've updated the app per instructions. There is a new update. It looks promising, as a way to manage "Bill Payees" . I wish they would give me a way to schedule regular deposits to my Saving's Account. Even, if they don't or can't, I like Origin Bank. They do give you the sense of security, even with just a wee bit of money. Suits my purpose, for now! Do your planning offline, because this app won't help in that!
App loses fingerprint or PIN access daily and I have to drudge up my extremely complex password daily to log back in and set up the fast access. Other than that, the app is good, but being able to quickly see my account is the main purpose of the app for me, so my rating will be low until it stops making me enter my password daily.
It's a little buggy at times but the good definitely outweighs the bad. Between this app and the mobile notifications, I was saved from a fraudulent charge of upwards of $600.
I am pretty picky when it comes to online services. I like things to be super user friendly, easy to understand immediately, and up to date with design/features. Origin Bank's app does that. They are not only am amazing bank, they have an incredible app and website!!! 🥰 My only critique is I'd love a feature that dovides upy purchases into categories and the ability to categorize purchases that aren't done automatically. It helps with budgeting. But it's a big luxury, so I'm still super happy!
This app is useless. I can't even log into my own information because it think ls my login info is wrong when it isn't. I'd suggest sticking to the website rather than the app.
The fingerprint option disables on it's own and the app has to be Uninstalled and downloaded again for it to work. Also Zelle doesn't work
Depositing checks is easy and it tells me how much money i have. Just wish i could do more like transfer and send checks through the app without having to use the desktop site.
The biggest downside to this app is when deductions are withdrawn from your account, it should show available balance before each transaction. It only shows deductions but not the newly reflected balance after the sale. I have no way of knowing what was currently in an account before a deposit. So it makes keeping up with the account really difficult to the point i might just close the account.
So far so good, update I have used this app now for a while and other then when they do maintenance on the app it has worked great. Up to date information all the time as of now still no issues, 3/8/22. So 5 star rating is posted.
It needs to show in out and balance after every item is taken out. Other than that it's great. Where lacks customer service makes up for the other 1000000000 stars this bank deserves.
Horrible. Just horrible. Both as a regular bank and as a business account. The bank itself is good, the app is beyond horrible
It is more stable then it used to be but it makes you log in multiple times to preform an action. Why have codes and biometrics if your going to have to type your password to perform and action?
Is anyone else experiencing problems getting the app to open? When I open mine, I get a white screen and it freezes every time. Up until about a month ago, I never had any problems. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5.
**Edit ** App has improved. Finally fingerprint access has been added for Android users. It looks more updated and it is more user-friendly. Now we just need access to bank statements and options to order checks, make branch appts etc would be great . app needs some updates. you can do basics like check your balance and transfer funds. does not have thumbprint reader for Android devices. Cant see full acct number, bank statements or turn off/on. debit card.
Network is busy at least 3 to 4 times a week I have the update app I've got to be honest I've never had any trouble with the older version of this app I've have been using version of the app for 5 years and never had this many problem with it I was told to uninstall and reinstall with the update version from March that it would solve my issues but this is a new phone that I bought in may of this year so the app was up to date and some time's a rest of the phone will work but not all the time
The login screen does not allow me to click "continue" and actually log in. m debating closing my account. Update: I was able to click continue, and then i received an unspecified error when trying to accept the user agreement. So tons of bugs.
The app no longer hids your password when type it in. This is a safety issue that is really important to me because my account has been compromised before by someone who found my log in info through the app. The convenience is not worth the headache of having to reset up a new account.
The app works fine but it locks you out way too quickly. Many people use multiple passwords for security and must run through them to log in. Three attempts is far lower than the industry standard. Please fix this.
I've had to uninstall and reinstall this app so many times over the past few months, because it inevitably force closes until you do so. Poorly designed app. I've just had to uninstall it yet again because after 24 hours, it's already force closing again.
App is functional and relatively easy to use. However, some UI options are not completely intuitive (like having the 'continue' button on the top right)
It works well for a while, but for the past several months I'm consistently having to uninstall and reinstall the app just so I can get in it. And even then sometimes that's not enough, sometimes I just can't get in at all even after reinstalling it.
Somehow it was extremely difficult to focus on the back of check with mobile deposit - feont of the check was okay first time. I could never get crisp picture if back side. No focus function!
Its very smooth with check deposits and very easy to use.

I was confused at first because I have little experience with this technology. However, once I got over my tiridation it was smooth sailing!
It's a pain to enter your password, it will swap you from uppercase to lower without you realizing. You seem to have to enter it to do anything even though you set up fingerprint or pin to log in fast. Even my local bank has a better app, and the other national banks are miles beyond Origin when it comes to the app. It will be the reason, I close the account and move. It just has not over come the fact I am lazy yet, but it will one day. I keep thinking they will make it better, they don't
