Orlando Sentinel

I just created my account and paid the $1 fee for the first six months per your own ad OS, but when I tried reading content, I was blocked by a pay wall. I am from Pennsylvania, but just launched a nonprofit in Florida. I find it very disappointing that you can't even get your subscription fees right. On another page the amount was 0 for the first month and $7.99 monthly thereafter. Which is it, OS? Maybe I should rethink setting up shop in Florida.

Basic. Not user friendly. Doesn't recognize that you have a paid service so you have to sign in each time you click on an article outside of the app. Support is unresponsive. It's like no one at OS even cares. Use a different news source if possible and save the headache

The newest version is so much better. Much more responsive and stable. It links to articles properly without requiring you to sign in all over again. I also like the new topics of interest selections so you have a customized section based on items you follow. The only thing that could make it better is the ability to share articles with non-subscribers. You could allow a gift of 10 a month as my NYTIMES offers this for it is a great way to share incredible content of importance.

Previous versions of this app were pretty bad, but they have made some great improvements! The news content is good, as it was before, but the presentation is much better. It actually looks professional, and it works well too. I like that you can even get images of the actual paper too, if you prefer to read content that way.

The application is buggy, sluggish and, as of the most recent update, unable to recognize if you have a subscription or not. If you try and reset your password, it won't even recognize your email address. The application has gone from bad to fundamentally useless and you're better off using the mobile website.

There are all kinds of problems with this app. It use to be that on the day of the month the app paid my subscription I had a black out of the app for 24 hours, every month throughout that day. Now, this past week, I have a total black out on every platform. I am paid up and no access to the service anywhere. I talked to Orlando Sentinel digital subscription and they blamed Google, I talked to Google Play and they blamed Orlando Sentinel App. I have other newspaper subscriptions, yet this is the only one that gives me problems. I had to cancel my subscriptions. Orlando Sentinel cannot deliver this digital service at all. Be warned.

Update: Issues fixed. News stories are repeated in the feed over and over again. I would have already deleted the app, but I'm keeping it for now because access is included in my subscription and in hopes they fix it.

Once was dependable, now takes very long to loadb and often never completes loading-indicates it has down loaded, but never shpws up ln downloads. Very frustrating, not worth the time or effort. At one time it worked easily.

This apps is useless. I keep getting "you've reach your monthly article limit". This is after I've been paying for it for over 5 months. I'm unsubscribing. Orlando Sentinel can't even close/unsubscribe my account. I have to call google because I downloaded it thru google play. Orl. Sent. used to be a good newspaper...what happened. They play another in town, go to a convenient store on Saturday and can find Sundays paper ready to go for $4.50. Sundays paper on Saturday, come on now that is BS

I will uninstall & reinstall one more time. App was working fine for several days then I became "unrecognized". Tried changing password, no go. I have my receipt so I know I'm legit! No one from OS customer svce responded to my email. Gah!!!!

Paid for the service and downloaded the app to follow the elections. The live updates page never loads and even with a subscription there are huge ads and pop-ups. Useless.

I sick and tired of ads covering part of articles. I've contacted their tech support and they are oblivious. Ads are coming from Google but the Sentinel allows them. Very bad app.

Needapartments for rent but there is no classified ads section..useless to me

OS: Courageous, informative. Calling a spade a spade. Now more than ever, we've got to have sources that report accurately. We're trying to support print media and are encouraging family and friends to do same.

Adds pop up constantly. Articles promise to show graphic content that is inaccessible by this simple electrical engineer. I give up.

Orlando Sentinel buildings on Orange Ave being torn down. Management (?), please dump this loser newspaper with them! I dumped the sinking ship 🛳 months ago. Online version was a non-functioning time wasting nightmare for me. Low 3.0 app rating speaks for itself. (Some Orlando Sentinel employees taking new jobs or payouts. Smart. Good thinking!)

I like OS journalists! But this app is no bueno. They make it super easy to subscribe and impossible to cancel. I dont like being robbed of $8.

Search function is terrible. Cannot find specific articles that google finds easily. Now I cannot figure out how to cancel my forever subscription. Do not recommend.

Instant alerts won't open. Some photo uploads take up their entire feed so you don't see any new news stories.

Slow app strewn with ads that diminish the reading experience. Major issues with account that led me to just cancelling altogether.

Cumbersome, clumsy, and as dated as the print version itself. I gave it a 3 only because it comes with my subscription.

Company is horrible, I've paid my subscription and I have not been able to access my e newspaper for a week and nobody has contacted me to try to resolve this problem 🙃

I have a paid subscription to the paper and the online version yet you pummel me with ads. Uninstalling!

Crashes when you close an ad. Ads overlap content. Low quality news ap.

it says you have to go to the play store to cancel your subscription but there is not a place to donot here either.

I never was able to access content. They were good at billing, however.
