The idea is to allow for fast identification of a bird and to show its difference from similar species. You won't find here detailed descriptions of bird species, which is better found in specialized books and online resources.

I am blown away how this app has little to no information about each bird at all. Oh it does tell you the size of the bird if you are lucky. All this app does is refer you to the Wikipedia page or other websites that have information about the bird. Such a shame. Lazy development is just what's ruining the playstore.
Very nice app, quite fun to use! I think it has room for improvement but not to the point where I can give it something less than five stars. Some suggestions: 1) a link to Wikipedia and ebird on the info tab 2) a button like "download all" for a given species/country/quality combination on the download page for recordings 3) a quick way to search for endemic species 4) a tab focused on images (maybe linking to ebird) in the same manner as sounds to xeno-canto
Very accurate and handy. I would maybe add some infos about every species.
Hi, great app, very easy to navigate. Clean interface. I love the additions of note-taking and the advanced observations. PS Common snipe and Great snipe, I believe they share the same picture in the app? Also, Black-headed gull and Little Gull has identical photos, except some photoshopped colour added very roughly. Is this intentional?
Very helpful for visually identifying the right species. Good pictures, a lot of useful information like how rare the bird is in your area and whether it is migratory, and it makes it easy to catalog your own spottings.
Forgot Rock kestrel in SA pack, but overall easy to use and a great app.
Very good for oz, nz and nl. (The picture of an American kestrel with the c Eurasian kestrel can be confusing for beginners. Just a minor glitch for an otherwise very good free bird-app! My compliments to the builders)
This is the best free app I've ever tried out. Works great, full of interesting information, including the bird sounds, and I especially like the possibility to mark which birds I've spotted and add custom notes. Thank you for this app!
Awesome app! You guys are awesome. I know that you are just 2 bird enthusiasts working on this so I can't really push, but I would so love it if you can include birds from Southeast Asia someday. Great work!

One of my favorite bird apps. As someone who lives in between Europe and America, I'm so glad It has all the birds. I really appreciate the multilingual option for the names of the birds. Up to 4! I just changed the settings so that the scientifical names appear first! I love the adaptability! When I need a quick check on a specie and/or it's call or song, I go to this app. Love the simplicity and clarity of the design. Love the shades of blue also! Thank you for making this app! J'adore !
