I keep having issues with showing files. I'm connected to Dropbox and during the session no problems. I leave the app and come back to see "No charts yet. Head over to music folder to set up." So I have to set up my Dropbox folder again and again. (I have got the latest version of the app.)

Bye Orpheus. I don't like the "rent" or look at adds model of apps. Orpheus was an okay sheet music reader, but not as intuitive as say Forscore. I was using it inleu of Power Point or Slides. I am uninstalling Orpheus because it is not as intuitive as some of the other sheet music readers and since I own the others already, Ioiu don't plan on renting this. Subscriptions are for magazines and news papers where you get new contnent NOT pay to remove adds.

I paid for this app, but I am about to Uninstaller it. It crashes in the middle of playing a piece, which is terribly annoying during a rehearsal but would be catastrophic during a performance. I just can't trust it.

Good app, just what I needed. I would like the feature to have the pdf song sheet automatically go to fit width . I have to manually size the pdf. At least it remembers that I have done this for the next time. But having to manually sizes 100 + song pdf is tedious.

This App,whilst being well thought out, has an issue for me. It does not show page numbers along bottom, so, one cannot scroll quickly to requested page numbers (unless I'm missing someting) when playing in a group. MusicNotes has a great advantage here. However the Orpheus annotation facility is far superior to MusicNotes. As a consequence, for my work, I need to run both Apps. Classics on Orpheus and club music on MusicNotes.Shame I have written about both Apps in my music club Newsletter.

Works okay most of the time, but is a bit clunky when changing charts and has a tendency to freeze up and go blank. Have had to uninstall and reinstall once or twice to get it running again. Not sure about this new subscription version, having already paid for the Pro version. Might have to investigate others.

So far so good. Works well with STOMP pedal. I see others that wish the program recognized SD cards instead of just internal storage in the Android Samsung Galaxy Tablet and I agree. Worked around it with dropbox--it would be a pretty big problem without that. Would love it to synch up with google drive and microsoft one drive. Annual fee seems quite reasonable.

I understand people need to make a living but it is completely unethical to sell an app with all the features intact and then a little while later to change it so you have to pay annually to access the features. It is not an issue of money for me but of principal.

I paid $14.99 then it is going to be changed $7.49 per year for same service? no need to pay more for nothing. it freezes often which is very annoying. has to close and open again in the middle of using the app. poor condition

This app is simple and exactly what I was looking for other than it won't let me slide between songs in all of my set lists. Plus, the one it does let me slide between is combining 2 sets. I bought the Pro version too.

I paid for this app and now they switched to subscription and it's as if I never paid. I don't play the subscription game - only lifetime memberships. They should have honored MY prior commitment to THEM and grandfathered me in for life. I'd be willing to donate something if they are hurting so much more cash, but I was never notified or given the choice. Poor business practices will ALWAYS overshadow a produce with nice features and functionality.

This app does everything I need it to do...BUT...I purchased this app a little over a year ago. Now the developer has decided to renege on the purchase and charge a subscription fee. Otherwise the app will be disabled. This seems unethical to me. Imagine buying a new car from a dealer and then, a year later, the dealer calls you and says his parking lot needs repaving and that you no longer own the car you paid for but must now lease it from him. I I believe the developer is probably a good person who has just made a hasty decision without thinking through the ethical and moral implications. I hope she can come up with a better solution, but I will not be subscribing to an app that I've already bought. EDIT (After Developer's Response): Yes Maeve, ANY amount is too much after you sold us the app and now want to take it back and lease it to us. The issue is not the amount of money, but the unethical business practice. I'm not sure why you can't understand this. I will be moving to the MobileSheetsPro app which has more features..

Bought the unlimited license. Suddenly, after updating, you need an annual subscription. Your payment gives you a free month trial, otherwise you will get the free version with ads. There is a name for this: greed... For the price of the subscription and for the lack of honesty, I deeply suggest you move to something better and cheaper - edited after developer's reply: thank you for your answer, but it was never free; I have paid for it, and that is exactly my point!

I'm very pleased to have found this app after encountering numerous problems with other music score apps. The developer is clearly a practising musician who understands the needs of gigging musicians. No unnecessary bells and whistles. No storing lead sheets within the app itself - leaves them in their original folders for easy access. Multiple folders possible. Easy construction of gig lists. Excellent! Edit: I'm disappointed that Orpheus has gone over to a subscription model. Time to move on..

Ron. V. Dec 4, 2021

After deciding to upgrade to pro they decide to move to subscription. Not cool. And there were issues with turning pages it didn't work if propper zoom was on.

I've been using Orpheus for several months now. I know some people are upset about switching to subscription for pro (10$ per year), but if it means more frequent updates, features, and maintenance, then I'm good with it. All I REALLY want to see is an option to be able to use the bluetooth page turner pedal to move to the next song. During some sets, there is no break between certain songs.

Cha. H. Jan 22, 2022

Features that I paid for have now been locked behind a subscription wall. Opting to move to a subscription model for future updates is fine, sunsetting the old pro version and announcing it will receive no future updates would have been understandable, taking away features that someone paid for is not.

I must say I am very fond of the App and use it every day. . I do not begrudge the creator a few pounds each year for further developments and sorting glitches. I admire the knowledge needed to create this app in the first place!

I'm a church pianist and this app has been great. Does what I need it to do without all the extra bells and whistles that I don't need. However, since the last update, my foot pedal will no longer advance through a set list like it used to. It will turn pages in a piece, but not move to the next piece in the set. Also, after moving to the next song, I have to tap the expand button again to hide the menu. Having to lift my hands from the keys to do that is not ideal in my situation.

Kri. H. P. Sep 13, 2021

I like the simplicity of it, but browsing through all my stuff can be confusing. After a week I feel like the preferred method that the app is pointing me to, is to keep all the music folders disabled, and when I select songs for a set list I enable just the folders that contain the songs I'm about to use, then go to "All charts" and select the songs from there. It just seems so counter-intuitive, am I over complicating things?

Lau. S. Feb 26, 2020

Pros: Compatabilty with Dropbox, ease of making dated playlists, simple, intuitive, interface. Cons: It doesn't play nicely with Google Drive - it downloaded every PDF and ignored that I had disabled most of my folders. You have to know the absolute path to your SD card which means you have to find a file manager that shows these, I used Files OI. Overall: I use it a lot and it is well worth the low price, if you can make music pdfs then you can probably work through the problems I've listed.

Tam. S. Dec 19, 2018

I don't like this app for reading sheet music. There a better app for reading sheet music. I was using this app to read music books that are PDF. However, now in order to view the files from Dropbox, need wifi. I've tried the instructions to view offline and it doesn't work. I purchased the upgrade. There is no back-up option for the setlists. NOT worth it.

Sou. D. S. May 29, 2021

I'm still learning how to get the best out of this app but I have to say, I like it. It's straightforward and does exactly what I need it to do. I've discovered the all-important "Cache All" to enable offline use. I really like the support documents - written by an intelligent human being and so user friendly! It's a shame the app doesn't support Google Drive but Dropbox syncs well.

Nic. V. H. Feb 13, 2021

I want to love this. It has markup. It syncs somewhat smoothly. Bookmarking is okay but a bit clunky to rename each item. I wish it had subfolders. I lost all of my markup when I changed devices and had to install new (no account = no carryover between devices in hand or when upgrading?!). And since I updated it last month my set list continues to revert to alphabetical order instead of the order I place the lists. Maddening. But still my best option for now.

Dan. L. Dec 2, 2019

Ive been usimg the free version for a bit, but decided to purchase it so I could add some more folders (and also support the devs). Its a great app, but I've stumbled on a bug. When choosing folders from google drive, it doesn't list all your folders, so it can be very difficult to find your music files.

GT. Dec 2, 2019

Paid for this app. Installed it. Had an absolute mare trying to set up. I thought I'd set it up to find when I arrived to band practice, it wouldn't work on my tablet without being connected to WiFi. Too glitchy to set up. You need a PC to aid getting files from your chosen storage (g-drive or Dropbox) into the 'charts' files space on the app. Wholeheartedly do not recommend until a bit more user friendly for us mere mortals.

Mos. S. Oct 19, 2019

Wish it had some useful features like the ones present in forScore, like adding charts from a specific folder (so I don't need to browse through all 6000 charts just to fill up a 5-song setlist), palm rejection while annotating with an S-Pen, and being able to add the same song twice in the same setlist. Other than that it's a pretty good alternative from iPad's forScore app.

sha. Jan 17, 2020

The app has a potential, but is currently lacking. The biggest problem for me is that the pdf files don't show up on SD card, the app does not see them. So on my Samsung Galaxy A Tablet with S Pen, I have to put the files on the internal memory, and then Orpheus can see them. The problem is obvious, my tablet only has 16 GB of memory and most of it is already taken. The whole idea is that you should be able to use an SD card. I emailed Orpheus customer support twice about it, and no response...
