While trying to book my first ride I had two drivers cancel the trip on me after not showing up. I was charged for both trips however customer service was quick to rectify. I used a $20 off voucher on the trip when I finally got it but this was never deducted from the fare. Definitely teething problems for the moment but hopefully they sort them out.
Oscar Rideshare is the dodgiest setup I have come across in awhile. This company has proceeded to charge me for just checking if there was a driver available on the app, not for actually using the service. Btw there is no drivers for Oscar in my local area. So therefore I should not have been charged. The app is meant to be a free download and not have any charges associated unless you book a ride, which is not the case. The excess fee's should be clearly stated in the app description.
The app itself so far seems to work great. The only thing its missing is a way to review/report drivers. Uber has this function and it keeps drivers honest, polite and punctual, Hi Oscar doesnt seem to have that accountability. Ive had rude drivers and several cancel on me with no explanation after waiting over 15mins for them to arrive.
Cannot log in with email or facebook account. Set up my account on my old phone but on this phone - oppo find X - i cannot log into my account, when I press forgot my password it says you cannot make a new password whilst logged in woth facebook. if i try to log in with facebook it says "invalid hash key" and an error code. I have disabled facebook on my device and reinstalled the app but this hasnt fixed it. would be good if you coukd look into cheers
Great app where you can see and choose your favourite driver. Pink cars for female drivers. Advance booking available. And I love the fact that you can see how many drivers are in the area and if they are available or already in a trip.
Terrible design. try to register, asks me to put OTP pin but no matter how many times you click send it it doesn't send to your mobile number. first design a proper app before launching it in the market.
Absolute horrible service. Ride never came but was charged anyway and then customer support never got back to me despite several emails sent to them over many months. Took money and then ignored.
Forgot your password? Good luck, the app asks you to enter your old password to reset it when you got the forgot password button. Changed emails since... Yeah good luck, get a new phone number it's easier
the app is good and the prices are nice but recently i cant really access it because as soon as i access it the app crashes, please fix it soon as i wanna continue using it

I can't log on I have registered but every time I go to log on it goes straight back to logon
Useless drivers, useless app support. Driver picked up wrong passenger, charged me for the ride. Will never ever use again.
Enter email and we will help reset your password, message pops up stating old password is incorrect..
Be careful with this app they like to charge your card without ever providing a service.

I'll review the three times I have dealt with Hi Oscar. 1st time the driver drove like a taxi driver, aggressive driving and over the speed limit. At the end I was not able to finish the ride in the app or tip the driver (I wouldn't have). Our second driver was great, but at the end I couldn't finish the ride in the app and couldn't tip him (I would have). The third time the app had a conniption, kept crashing and kept closing after I had requested the ride, so I didn't know if he/she was coming or not. Eventually he called me but we were already in a taxi. Terrible app, terrible driving, but if you get it to work, the only thing going for it is that is way cheaper than a cab by half. Please fix the app. It is a disgrace. Why can't we get a decent service like Uber?
Have on a samsung 9 crashes and shows cars on trip. Put on a samsung 8 and works okay.
I can't get past the verification code page is the app keeps crashing so I'll have to pay for a taxi instead.

In Launceston is great most of the time.. needs a few more drivers tho'! Occasionally I've had no luck due to all drivers being busy and choosing closer fares, or all drivers being unavailable because they're offline. ( Same on uber ) Great price .. app is based on distance traveled not a set rate .. uber is a set rate . Oscar works out to be more affordable most of the time. Plus it's an Australian owned App so the drivers get better rates.. ! .. 10/10 RECOMMENDED APP FOR AUSTRALIANS .. !
