The app has useful features but all too often has issues as well. Constant connection issues so you can't read messages or search for doctors, etc. Also, it often won't show all the doctors in your area you have to refresh and every time you do you see a new set of doctors it would be nice if you could see them all the first time.

This is the first time I've rated an app, but my frustration brought me here. We pay Oscar $1800 a month and they have us do everything via an app that won't work. I have reinstalled, updated, waited, tried and retried and I can't get past the Oops page. So frustrating.

This app does not work properly. Also, I see that there are no responses to any of the complaints either. When Oscar was new, everything was great! But as time goes by, they are just another typical health insurance. They no longer stand out as one I would fight to keep. No more personalization, no more help at your fingertips. I will change soon due to a serious loss of respect and comfort I had for them. Nothing makes them any better.

This app is so bad and so many glitches. The last straw is now it forces you to download the Teledoc app for virtual care. Then you have to wait until your identity is verified! Been waiting for 2 days!

Got the app to make my payments easier but it keeps failing and I have to re-enter my information every time I try.

Worst app ever. Constantly crashes, spinning loading icon, etc. Trash app from a trash insurance company.

Unable to book a virtual appointment on the app. Both my wife and I are getting an "Oops" message on two different devices and both on wifi and cellular network connections.

1. Steps app is ridiculous. It sets up steps far higher than reasonable so if you ever achieve a goal it adds 2000 steps the next day - yet it never goes down. This is actually dangerous for many elderly and disabled people. 2. Fingerprint scan takes forever - unlike other apps. 3. The whole app is UN-intuitive, and takes many steps to get where you need - if you can find it at all. 4. They never seem to address issues and complaints.

This app does not work well. Intermittent errors from the back end. Error messages that show a phone number but disappear if you try to select the number. I filled out 3 pages of form data before receiving a message saying I couldn't fill out the form on mobile. Just overall a really disappointing experience, I am bummed that I'll have to engage with this app regularly since they are my health insurance provider.

Update: the steps synch now! I do wish they'd allow Samsung fit or other fitness apps outside of Google fit but the app works as advertised :) -------- The app will not sync with Google Fit no matter how many fixes I try. Basically all android users can't get the perks for counting steps unless Oscar fixes this issue or maybe allow it to sync to different health apps like Samsung Health. This is incredibly annoying because I was actually excited for this feature and could use the reward.

Thanks! The issue with the step synching has been resolved and has been working for well for a few weeks now. Unfortunately, now the app is glitching in a different way. I keep getting a message: "Oops something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes". It is like the app cannot connect to the server(s). I've cleared the cache and uninstalled/reinstalled the app. This doesn't happen when I log in to the hioscar site. Hopefully this will get resolved soon.

App itself is ok. None of the features work. Like trying to get in contact with anyone. Supposedly a 24/7 concierge team... still haven't responded to 5 messages I have sent since over half a month ago. Also they tout the $1 you get for amazon for walking 10,000 steps a day- half the time it doesnt even count your steps properly. Yes it undercounts. Dissapointed in the service but it's the cheapest for a reason

As of the middle of the day of May 27th, app would no longer sync with Google fit. Worked great up until then. Come on Oscar! Let's get this fixed! Please! It's now June 2nd. The faq's said to uninstall and reinstall. Well i did uninstall now i can't reinstall. Just keeps spinning and saying waiting on download. Grrr. *Update* app working great again. Thank you for the fixes. Back to 5 stars!

Not impressed so far. I read up on the company before picking the insurance and they were supposed to be a tech infused healthcare company. Every time I login, it takes multiple fingerprint attempts to get in. You have to manually sync your steps every time. When you hit your metrics, they will add several thousand more steps to the next week making it pretty much impossible to hit the metrics. If you don't sync for several weeks, you can get around that temporarily, but it's a stupid system.

Installed another update today 06/18/2020. No change. It doesn't sync steps. Original review. As others have already mentioned, it still doesn't sync up with Google Fit, even after the update. Besides, it doesn't offer an option to sync with my Samsung health app which is more accurate. Update. It will sync now, but the expected step count goal in Oscar doesn't match my goal settings in Google Fit. There is no setting in Oscar for your own step count goal.

My app gets updated & now it tries to open itself two times at the same time, so it errors out. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app and it's still doing this. So frustrating. I sure as heck don't want to call in for help, because I know that won't go anywhere. The employees are super nice but only as good as your training and that's not saying much. I will most likely be switching insurance companies next year because of this. I have other important info on there I can't obtain. FRUSTRATED

May 29th update seems to correctly pull daily step count from Google Fit, though it doesn't do it until the next day. Earlier versions gave 'real time' number of steps during the day. I preferred the older way, but this will do. I can use the Fit app to see how many steps Oscar thinks I've taken as the day goes on. Have raised my rating to 4 stars (was 2 stars)

I posted a review in June 2020 about app not syncing with Google fit. So app worked for awhile but since early Oct the problems started again. The steps are always off from Google fit by alot. Then when I push to get to those steps, the next day it jumps by 2000 steps! So I'm fighting with not getting correct steps then having to do 2000 more! It's as if it does this on purpose to stop you from getting alot of $1!! Yesterday it had me at only 3,450 steps when Google fit had 10,890!! Annoying!!

Not compatible with Fitbit devices. why is Google Fit the only compatible Oscar app Oscar for syncing? And since the last update, still cant scroll down and record my night's sleep. App is stuck on the uppermost part of the screen & still can't scroll down and this problem only occurs on this particular page on the app.

Disappointing. I followed the instructions to the letter, connecting Google Fit to the app. Google Fit is counting my steps just fine, but they just won't transfer over to Oscar. Don't offer something that you can't deliver on, it makes people distrust you.

Broken, takes minutes to log in or load something after you click... if it ever does load, sometimes the loading circle just spins forever. Functions in the we app don't work, steps don't sync properly for your rewards. This app is utterly pointless.

Freezes constantly and shuts off

It won't let you install the new update and I can't use the old version anymore The old version worked good first until it started skipping days of transferring steps from fit. Some days it worked and some days not. Later it seems like problem was fixed but it would be nice to be able to dowload the new version.
