Amazingly powerful and easy to use. It seems that it's no longer in development, but it works really good, and it has a small but complete selection of sounds.
One of the best music production apps just need to add and fix up pocketband plus optimisation of the screen or fix the scroll adding music from pocket band fix both up it Jessie James
i hope they dont discontinue this app like they did with pocketbnd that app was professional had a lot more than oscilab pro for the price they are selling this app for.
this is the best music program ive come across so far totally taken by it i dont even do anything else with all my spare time every minute of it
very easy to make some intresting tunes!!! hours of fun
Pretty good. I guess updates are not a thing, here.
this app is grat wish it had more sounds
Good times! ! I love the it!
fun to use for playing live
amazing I love this app
Good job with the ui. agree it hard at first but once it clicked I was hooked. first app ive ever bought on google play after being android user for over 5 years. The only problem is my screen takes a beating. I get a lil crazy sometimes:-)
This is my go-to app. It is so fun & dynamic. Even people who are bad at music will have fun with this with the graphic interface & loop timing. Makes very refreshing & unique music. Google Enoch's Dabela for my example. Hopefully they'll add more instruments soon but even if they don't there are endless sounds & loops to be made. VERY FULL sound with immersive experience.
Ok, this is the best thing to use to break the ice with electronic music-making. It's limited, but at the same time has lots of versatility for sounds. (recently it's been crashing upon loading projects. It shuts down when I load the project then I have to re-open it again and it pulls up that project that I wanted) Other than that....I've made several albums with this and have played a few shows and radio sets. IT's a powerhouse. check out RAVECOP it's 90% oscilab.
I've composed an entire soundtrack for a series using only this app. That being said it's limitations are fundamental and difficult to work around. Things such as changing tempo mid song, all channels limited to one bpm, continuing a loop for an odd number of bars, adding effects to specific notes and only two channels for drums. These issues make it difficult to bring visualized compositions to life. That being said, this is an effective tool for quickly cycling between different combinations of chord progressions and writing a composition that's limited to specific progressions.
For the most part i love it but on my galaxy s8 it seems as though there is a good portion of the bottom of the Oscilab that is just cute off and i cant use any of the functions that show below this cute off area. would be nice if there was some kind of screen adjustment feature so we can individually fix this. maybe
This is one of the most promising technology and a entirely new way to make some quick unique personal short music to instant DJ production. This very simple innovative app has blown my mind and I'm thinking about starting a revolution! I have made endless of sound candy and it was worth every digital cent of my hard earned money for this beautiful well done app. I would be less bother by the fact that people who gave this app 4 or less stars have limited creativity. As a professional you'll be surprised
This is the first app I've enjoyed making music with on Android. I feel like I've tried them all and the rest are either too complex and difficult to use on touch screen or they are toys. This is somewhere in between. Great for ideas when a computer isn't available.
Its awesome for $10... I successfully recorded 4/10 beats so far for my upcoming album (in just 3 days!) using only oscilab... I would pay another $10 or more for an updated/upgraded version (thanks 2beat). Please add: option to control bpm for each instrument individually, import samples, record audio and use plugins... some minor bug fixing is in order and then 5 stars!
Awesome app. But lack of cloud storage or sd card save for unfinished projects hampers you if swapping devices especially if broken.
I really like. A bit hard to use at first but really fun and easy once you get used to it
I liked the free version, the lite version, but since I was enjoying it so much I took a chance and bought the pay version and it is so incredible to mess around with and come up with new beats effects sounds ..well worth it O think ..best app like this I've come across yet
Almost everything I could need in one app. All that I request is more in-depth sound shaping. Something along the lines of sound synthesis that would allow me to bypass the samples in terms of broad ranges off sounds. Perhaps a sample import itself. Anyways Keep at it. I love this app and will be making many masterpieces. Though in the future I would like to use this app exactly in the same manner and fashion and my hardware. Look into the "Novation Circuit".
This app have the same instruments. Update needed badly. I gave this a 5 star but got bump down.
Great product for me, someone with little knowledge but lots of interest. Defiitely buy this and G-Stomper before you get any hardware if youre interested in making digital music or just learning more!
Once you learn how to navigate through the application you can begin to easily create amazingly fun jams! The one and only feature that I would love to see is the ability to record short samples through the phone or microphone and then be able to manipulate them in the sequencer. So far I am in love.
Two major Android versions later and this app has received no attention. Post processing of recorded data sounds clipped. Artifacts and distortion are present while composing on 6.0.1 & 7.0. The media server/processor has changed significantly in Android rendering this app near useless unfortunately.
Great on tablet, phone interface is a SNAFU. Whole screen is folded upwards, buttons overlapping nearly completely... are there 2 different versions for tablet and phone? used to work on my phone now no more
