OSIM uLove 2

[update] Bluetooth connection is working as intended now. [Original] I will adjust my rating after the app is fixed but I can only give it a one star now because it's not working as intended. On first attempt, phone was paired with no problem. Subsequent attempts require us to pair it again which isn't how everyday people expect Bluetooth-paired devices to work. What's worse is that the re-pairing isn't even working as intended. There isn't even a prompt to press OK on the chair so when the app tells me to press OK on the controller, it just enters into whatever selection you stopped at.

[UPDATED 24/9/18] Glitch fixed within 1 day of report. Great job by Osim support in sorting out the glitch quickly. However the Bluetooth connection method must be improved. Take cues from other Bluetooth devices (headphones, cars) whereby it should only need to pair once and not having to press ok on the remote EVERY time we use a tablet/phone to control the chair. It totally defeats the purpose of Bluetooth control via tablet/phone. It doesn't help that the remote is stored INSIDE of the chair and this OK button (to pair) is not easily accessible. [ORIGINAL POST 23/9/18] The recent update on 22/9/18 has caused this app to stop working on my Nexus 7. Sent an email to Osim support and still don't get a fix after a new update was released. Very inconvenient having to take out the remote to pair with device during EVERY use. Beats the purpose of controlling using an external device. Shouldn't have to take out the remote and press ok to pair during each use

(Update) Seems like the v.2.1.2 has not fix this problwm having to press the OK button on remote for pairing. Not very user-friendly as I to have to press OK button on the remote for pairing but i will have to remove it out from the armrest holder. I noticed this problem has been highlighted by other users but has this been issue been resolved? Then when I try to pair it with my S9+, it wasnt able to detect the chair.

Terrible app. After breaking the bank to buy this chair was very disappointed to find the app pairs well on first try but then messes the chair up afterwards. The massage download don't work. The chair is paired when looking at the phone but then requires to go to settings every single time the screen turns off and does a countdown to pair again with the chair, and this is successful once every 10 tries.

Pathetic app for such an expensive product. First of all the it took ages and almost 35-40 tries to connect Bluetooth with the chair and when finally it did, every time I try to download a program the app pushes me back to the home page this I tried for another 20 times but still no success. I bought the chair just so new programs can be downloaded and I don't get bored with the old ones. All wasted

Defeats the purpose of a "Bluetooth" when you have to pair it everytime you uses it. The chair just disconnect from the Bluetooth and the massage just stops. Till now I have not have a full massage using this app as it just keeps disconnecting. Horrible experience overall.

With Samsung Note 20 Ultra, requires Bluetooth re-pairing everytime I use the app. I ensured phone location is enabled. I tried uninstalling , reinstalling. Chair off and on again. No difference. A bit pointless to use the app if you have to pick up the uLove 2 controller anyway!

Got chair replacement. Blue tooch with smart devices were still having issues. Revisited Osim shop. Sales tried several chairs before My phone successfully connected. Was able to download two new programs. Everything okay now except 1- Ulove2 speakers can't bluetooth. I must use the cable. 2- Osim music playing not always playing with my device.

Worked for a day thenGood app update with the voice commands! Bit difficult navigating through apple updates if shared device. Directions for selecting location/Bluetooth need to be clearer through setup. Have reset ipad and ulove2 app still won't download or open. Very frustrating and slow response from app team

Designer of this u2love app shud be sacked. This not a 1 star app but a negative -5 star app for an expensive but dumb massage chair! 1. All massage programs in upright position. FAILED! 2. No one touch button to go back to upright position. FAILED! 3. No wifi and u2love cannot work. FAILED! 4. New massage programs can auto disappear after download. FAILED!

The Bluetooth connection of the Ulove2 app and my Samsung note 20 Untra is basically impossible to set up. I have read of so many complaints here, but problem still exists. And the most weird thing is I can connect the Bluetooth directly through my phone connection utilities and play Spotify through the chair's speaker, the connection will drop off after the standby time of the chair remote control goes back to sleep mode. For a $5000 plus chair is this all Osim can do?

Such an expensive product but quality are absolutely terrible! After connect to the bluetooth and control the massage chair by mine phone, it keep on disconnected when massaging, so the massage chair stop in the half way! I uninstall the apps, clear all cache file, and reinstall back but still also the same! Download massage programs its a nightmare, keep pushing me back to the main screen when downloading, totally disappointed with Osim brand!

Used to work with my note 10 plus. Pairing does n't work anymore either due to the updated OS of my note 10 plus or the updated version of this apps or both. Bluetooth to speakers work though.

Unable to use the app without logging in but app doesn't allow me to login using facebook or sign up using an email. Disappointed in OSIM for such a troublesome product.

App can connect to Bluetooth for music. But App on Samsung phone and tablet fails to download any of the 5 programs... just get the waiting sign for more than 30minutes : (. Waited in queue for over an hour on your Chat support platform without being attended to. Sales lady said she too needs to check with IT : ( Also sent email to your support line. Pending response.... feeling very UN-ZEN !!!

Very low quality massage chair. Bluetooth adapter not functioning. And the bottom roller crack 2 time in 2 years and the leather also crack and is not under warranty. Terrible quality.

I tried pairing my Android 6.0.x phone but doesn't detect the Ulove 2. I am literally sitting on the chair while doing this. My phone Bluetooth could find the chair but this Osim app doesn't detect it. Such a frustration for something so expensive to buy.

Been trying to download the programs and each time the download hangs after telling me to wait for program to download to remote controller. And to get back in the app download menu, I have to restart the pairing with controller . Is there no smarter way to access the login ?

Easy to use with the App, I link with my iPad, no need use the controller anymore. With my iPad can play my own music too ❤

It so troublesome to pair the app. Sometime cannot pair the audio cannot even enjoy the music from the chair speaker

Osim is not content to just take your money, as it insists on knowing your email address as well. Apparently it needs more ways to make money....

Only able to download 2 programs,the rest just fail and keep on sending or disconnect blue tooth.

App keep crashing resulting in massage stop during halfway through the program. Just had the chair and now this app work worst than my previous uinfinity chair.

I can't pair it with my Oppo Find X2 phone with Osim uLove Massage Chair. Bluetooth keep rejecting. Very funny.

after the latest update, I cannot connect to my chair anymore, used to be fine prior the update. Angry!

Cannot even open app properly. Keep asking to connect BT. Real disappointment.

After pairing and unpairing several times, the Speakers still doesn't work.
