Oslo City Bike

Pretty good. I have a suggestion for an improvement of the feedback system. Some of the scooter apps have a system with stars and some common tags, after each ride, so that it is easy to give the appropriate feedback fast. Maybe this could be implemented also for the Oslo city bike app.

Oslo City Bikes have been constantly improving both the app and the actual service of city bikes. Previously poor maintenance is way better than it used to be. I also appreciate one can use them throughout the whole year now. I hope the bikes and availability will keep improving, so overall great work!

Not group friendly. Not tourist friendly. Not possible to rent multiple bikes. Each person in your party needs to have a phone number and individual account. Only reason for two stars is because customer service is good.

Blocks you instantly if you deliver a bike late even if it's just a few minutes. Cause you can only have it for 60 minutes and if you're around the center it's alright, but if you're more in the outside then it's harder to be on time. But the r**ards from City Bike don't give a damn. They'll keep your money if you're late by just two minutes which is what happened to me literally. Then I heard about the electric scooters which are actually cheaper so I know what I'll be using next time 👍

The app is fine. But the service is not reliable, often I can't find a single bike within a 1km range in Sagene. The maintenance should be improved also, but this is users fault that don't report damage.

Scam. Forces you into storing your card info. If you try to remove the card info after you have payed for the product they remove your access to it and on top fail to verify it again... So now they have your money and you dont even have the product, well played Oslo!

Quick and very easy to use. Tourist friendly.

Stars are not for application but rather for the whole package/solution of Oslo City Bike.

Easy to use and intuitive. Bike rental in few seconds, returning in few seconds... Good job.

Spent an hour trying to rent a bike. App never worked. Incredible waste of time.

Last year I used the app and the bikes - which were often not in the best condition to use for longer distances - but it was good enough for the purpose. So I paid for a new subscription, the app confirms that I have a subscription for this year, but I can't unlock any bike - the app keeps saying that there was an error and I should try again later. I reported that both to the in app contact and email contact more than four days ago, but I didn't get any response, not even that somebody has received the message and will be looking at it.

They appear to have fired the people redistributing the bikes. Impossible to find a bike outside ring 1.

I'm really enjoying the app so far. I use the bikes quite a lot and didn't encounter major problems. I had to cantact customer support once because the system didn't register that I locked the bike but the staff was quick to fix the issue. One thing that could be improved, I think, is the station map's compatibility with Google maps. Now, whenever I have to go to a particular address, I have to juggle between the two apps checking where to park my bike. It would be so much easier to have everything (GPS and station map) in one place.

Terrible service, park the bike show me was lock, got home and get a message 15 mints after i have to return my bike, now my accont it's block...This year the wors service ever, not bikes, broken bikes, lockers not work properly, red × evrytime it's look like a race evryday.. bike not bike, lock not lock, very disappointed, next year definitely i will not use again.

Terrible interface, will not allow me to log in or use any screens. Only keeps giving me one time codes that will not work. Frustrating. Hate it

The app is fine actually, but the service is terrible compared to other city bikes around the world. Whenever I want to use it I can almost never find usable bikes. Flat tires, broken seats or simply no bikes. Forget this unless it's raining, as they seems to have sold 100 times more subscriptions than their capacity allows. It's more a lottery than a bike service. Also hard to park the bike when arriving, no spots left to put it there. And you can only use it for 45 minutes. Badly need a competitor.

App is in general great, only issue is that the "report a problem button" is not working (slightly ironic). The bikes are often not great (sometimes awful) , but hope to see them improve.

Is there no way to use the bikes if i dont have a norwegian phone number?

Sometimes the "unlock bike" option shows up when i am near the bike rack and sometimes i have to restart the app to get this option. It does not update as fast as it should if a bike rack gets full after you checked it still shows that you have space. What happens to the bikes with the red x, how can one correct the status and unlock them?
