I have tried Many Free Wifif Apps and to no avail... they never work for me!! However to my amazement I finally discovered the one wifi app that works!!! I downloaded it and forgot about it and within a few hours of running out of data on my cell phone, Wre AALLAHH... ...I recieved a notifcation, I was connected!!! Unwittingly for almost 2 weeks til I could purchase my Data I ws able to access a vast majority of info on-line that I normally wouldn't be able too! Im not saying it was speedy but I was impressed considering... I even purchased the premium: an entire $1... Lol.
I've only used it a little, but so far, fantastic! It has all the necessary features along with an extremely easy way to earn a free premium status (ad free). The free premium is enough to earn this app a 5 star rating, but the professional look, feel, and functions help too.
I've just bought multiple dual band wifi antennas. So this helped me pinpoint exactly where I had to set my antennas to receive free wifi from long range and the best part I'm actually using these things on a satellite dish together. Even though this app doesn't solve alot of answers, but atleast this has the peace of mind when it comes to wifi near your area. So I'll make a video on YouTube on how I was able to get my setup working using osmino and the actual purpose of this app.
The absolute worst all ever I've been searching for nearly an hour now all I've seen so far is not wifi connections or hotspots Only adds seriously of you make an app for WiFi map at least i mean it at least put some wifi connections in the only connection I saw was in Essex I was no where near there seriously improve you have a lot of work I absolutely don't recommend this app at all you could try it if you want to but I've already wasted an hour of my time don't waste your time Don't download.
The best free wifi app so far, but: would be great to have a scoreboard, with no ads and full sync for top contributors. Also missing a connect wifi via the app (but please no persistant service!). Don't forget that you can sell this app thanks to your user contributions ;) We are the data :p
Data hog. Keeps flashing a news feed of worldwide updates on your screen, annoying you and draining your data. There is a negative utility of this feature as it destroys valuable screen space, pick on your attention and waste your data. Not particularly smart.
You can just grab the xfinitywifi hotspot app if you need it lol. Basically all this app shiws is xfinitywifi and cablewifi (another Xfinity connection) connections and lists them as open networks with a free session but since Dec 17, 2020 you cant get free xfinitywifi sessions anymore so this app is basically useless. Dont waste your time or data.
This application is garbage. It's keep crushing and don't show any real information. I tried a few spots indicated in this app and... Nothing! The spot does not exists! Even the spot that indicated like somebody connected today - nothing!
Frustrating. Hangs, doesn't accept user input. Know what it does do well? Serve a ton of ads that stop what you are doing, and pop up the premium info. Uninstalled.
My first impression to this app was excellent. It shows you wifi networks that can be connected. And most of all, I've just noticed that the system (sorry I forgot the term) -the one who reads the reviews is not like a com which tells me that they are totally responsible and values the reviews of the users to this app which is unique because when I read almost all the reviews, they answer/reply to the lne who wrote the review and they try to fix our concerns.. Still recommend this app. 5 star
Easy to find out where the WI-FI is, just has a bit of a time lag with the updates. Not a very large lag ,but a lag nonetheless...
I used the Osmino platform 10 years ago in the US, and I think it worked well. However where I live now, it does not detect or offer any hotspots (I have tried 2 different places). To developers: I live in Israel now
Ran two adds while was on it for two minutes learning it. Thats a bit annoying right off the bat. I get adds but that fast. Deleted in less than five minutes.
I just hate this app ,today i wanted to download my india map which is above 750mb but after a complete download ,i shocked suddenly when it had not yet download and again i did on my data but there was only buffering and at the last i had to cut this download in download section and i tried to check an another map like as tajakistan but after a complete download ,it was only saying to sync and when i go for sync then it is asked to subscribe montly ,It is a great bug otherwise i don't like
Just installed and so far, so good... I'm very impressed with the alacrity of response to feedback, and will change to five star ASAP ( sorry to hold u hostage to better feedback 🙂) I'm trying to find a map for only open (free) wifi access. Is this possible here? Thanks.
Very useful for locating open wifi and hotspot sources around your area based on actual signals and peer device and user reports. Handy offline map feature! Does include advertising only for the first four days as stipulated which stops on the fifth consecutive day you open the ap after initial (first) launch.
Works sometimes. Its almost like you have to be right on top of the spot. It keeps switching between connections too
I have just installed the app & haven't fully tested it yet but it already asks for a rating & review. Although it does show sorrounding wifi with passwords particularly on hotspot areas a good app developer should ask for such after sufficient time has lapsed when users have fully tested and evaluated the app.
Absolute garbage negative -10 stars it doesn't even show the seven hot spots that are located right down the street from me two of which are Dunkin Donuts that have been there for ages. Why create a wifi app with no info? Liar Must be made by j3ws! It does nothing that it says it does. An absolute farce. They have the nerve to blame it on their own users - the fact their app is completely garbage, why would you make an app if you're not going to put any input into the purpose for apps existence?
Doesn't work . I have tried several times to use this app & I am never told that it has been installed but I have tried many times to make it work. Never has. Fixing to give it another shot. Could've been something I did or didn't do but gonna give it another try. Wish me luck 🤞
It's safe and you can also use your finger for your password which makes it easier for me also it's easier to use lots of space and really good for me.
This is a stupid app ...... please don't download this app is very bad , it can't connect to any Wi-Fi , it only shows me map which i don't want.
Doesn't tell how to connect like other wifi apps, this is just a wifi tracker to see who has free wifi around where you live or around the world.
Really good program, stable, easy interface, minimal ads, good incentives, well designed.
I wasn't comfortable with the description of the permissions I had to give for this app to work, but once on the permissions page, there was no option other than to agree. There was no option to cancel the setup. There was no way to activate the soft buttons that would allow me to close the app or switch to a different window. So, I rebooted my phone, found the app, and uninstalled it. But Google Play still shows it as installed. I'm less than thrilled.
