But this doesn't work with my rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 I9305, first I thought my firewall is blocking it but it doesn't even show on the list of apps in the firewall, happy to change my rating but it doubt it really works for SGS3I9305 the outcome file was only 8bytes
Did not see anything happening and couldn't find any OTA file
No notification on completion and no instructions on where to find the OTA package
It does not place OTA in any folder, this app is just waste for me.
All of those 5 stars are bot accounts
Havent tried it yet but it opens and looks good
Finds original ota in android and saves it.
It doesn't do what it is meant for.
I tried on nexus 4, nothing happened....
this app is just discasting
It had one job
Nothing happened
And a great way to grab the OTA file and store it for later installation in case you just don't feel like upgrading immediately. Let's face it, bugs happen, and you may not want some of the new features of an OTA / want some old features that were removed in the OTA. Installed on BIONIC and TF700T - hopefully it works on the Infinity. I'll let you know.
This app does exactly what it is suppose to. Works perfectly, 5 Stars!!!
this app does not work on my S3 GT-i9300. I'm sure the app works just fine for others, but it just didn't for me. Tried installing several times, running it just as the author suggests. Outcome file was 8 bytes. If it's an S3 or an i9300 issue, I hope it gets fixed so I can install it again. The rating is not fair because it did me no harm in installing and uninstalling this app, but it's so other S3 i9300 users can be better informed and hopefully for a fix to be developed,
Wasn't able to get the OTA file with this. It actually created more problems such as apps continuously crashing, making the device unusable. Do yourself a favor and just use fastboot or find the OTA download online.
It created the folder properly, but no file was ever copied.
Doesn't work on the Nexus 5, OTA update not stored in cache.
The only complaint I have is the UI, really plain looking but does not make the app less download worthy lol. Extremely great job Developer!
Doesn't work. Why on earth the dev didn't include a 'complete' notification mystifies me!
Like the title said. Created folder, but no file.
Not functioning
Using HTC desire C, the its file goes to download folder it dissapears before I can copy it, your app cannot grab it, could you help with an update, thanks
