Awesome when it works but I get a File edition error about once every three weeks. Uninstall and reinstall usually fixes it...or in the past I would switch to Press Reader and get the Dunedin library edition for free (but this now seems unavailable). It seems to be a problem at the ODT end?
I pay rural paper price. I am frequently unable to download the whole paper, if any at all. More often than not it claims I have no internet connection when in fact EVERYTHING ELSE is working perfectly. A library subscription would only cost $20 PA more and give access to hundreds of other magazines & papers. Not a good app for me.
Last updated 2014? I have periods it works fine and others, like now, where for absolutely no reason at all, it inexplicably ceases to function despite numerous uninstalls. Maybe the S-7's version of Android is too recent. Come on Allied Press, you have customers who are trying to support you and you treat them like s**t!
Quite often will not download the edition. Says it is corrupted or queued. Sometimes it will download the next day, which is not much use for daily news.
Quite good when it works but too often it says file corrupt, try again, but that never works. I am paying for my ODT but unable to get it. Appears app has not had an update since 2014
Doesn't work on mobile data so can't read the newspaper at work which defeats the whole purpose of using this app
Keeps failing to load. Says the app is not designed for latest devices like min. e

Excellent, but unable to change my email address to my current one. It has also started Stopping when I click on the icon, today.
Very slow to download new paper. Often stalls.☹

Read the digital paper for the first time and love it. Clear print and being fond of reading the paper in bed, clean hands and no black marks on the sheets.
Finally got it working. The help section was not too helpful. An ok app, would rate it well above Stuff and other NZ news sources...Peter
I have a subscription but the app says my subscription doesnt allow me to view or download the issues.
I could write a better app that this.

It's crap
Very handy easy to use.
I recently installed two apps: ODT and Lastpass. One of them came with annoying "Android ads" that randomly and frequently popped up on my home screen or in other apps. I can't tell which was the culprit but it was certainly one of them. Beware!

It is getting less and less reliable. File errors occurring more frequently so have to uninstall and reinstall. Second time in 3 days needed to uninstall. Getting worse. Once again it fails. And again! And again. Last updated 2014, no longer much use with newer tablets. Great. And they still charge the same.
